The best restaurants serving Default food in St. Helens North West

The Pizza here used to be really good but now it's just mushy and tastes like Baked Beans 🤢

Lovely guy but l'm sorry to say he should clean himself up a bit and make sure his hair stays out of the food. Omelette not cooked properly. Probably the worst l've had in years. Had to bin it, after the hair. I tried.

Third time I've been here, first was a really nice breakfast and on the 2nd and third occasions, my sausage wasn't cooked properly. My third and last time also had to ask twice for a clean up, when asked for another cup, because the replacement cup was still not clean, the lady said with a snotty attitude is that clean enough for you. Won't be visiting again.

Stopped there recently for a quick drink whilst travelling the East Lancs. I used the rear entry. My god I was horrified by the state of disrepair of the building. The whole place should be demolished and rebuilt. The window frames are rotten and falling to pieces and some of the windows have no glass. It's a disgrace that this unkempt dump should be serving food. I wouldn't eat anything there. They can spend money on their wacky warehouse but fail to maintain the building in a satisfactory condition. But the sad thing is they charge over £6 for a pint of Peroni as though the place is a premium establishment. Its nowhere near. This is like London prices in a shabby area of Merseyside and a shabby building. Who are Greene King trying to kid. With management like this it's no wonder tgat they are laying off so many people at Bury S E. Avoid at all costs. Even the parking lot is shabby and full of potholes etc. Close your wacky warehouse and refurbish the whole building to an acceptable standard. Keep driving past.

Rooms are good but smart TVs are not available, it would be better if smart TVs are available as it is 3 star hotel

Lovely food great all the staff are very polite and very helpful On Saturdays they have a DJ playing lovely tracks the DJ doesn't speak he just puts good music on... I went together with my 4 friends it was such a a great day out xx At the night time they also had a live singer which was a great experience.. Did I say we all had our dogs biscuits and water are available..

Moved to Newton-le-willows just this month and decided to try this Chinese. Honestly this is the best Chinese I have had! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was so nice and provided good portions. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely be going back here again in the near future.

Hi the pizza was burned on the bottom and didn’t really taste as good as last time. The kebab was ok but yet again not as good as last time. Was 15/20 mins late but understood as drivers can be busy it’s a Saturday night.

Lamb on my chicken kebab, a hair in the salad and a big bone in the chicken curry. Not good.

Waited an hour an a half phoned no answer 2 hours no answer ringing an ringing absolute joke our take away didn't turn up not impressed

If i could rate zero i would! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. Curry was green and vile salt and pepper chicken was soggy chips were oven chips and not cooked fully. Crispy chilli beef was awful like slop the whole meal was inedible wouldnt feed it to my dog. And when inrang to complain staff couldnt care less. Need closing down ASAP!!

Visited Carr Mill in 17/10 with family and Leo the Pug. Food and drinks were served by Sophie and others quickly upon ordering. Food was hot and tasty, ordered 3 courses each. Only gripe is that when visiting the toilet there is never any hot water running when washing hands, thankfully the missus always carries wipes on her.

Went last week to celebrate a friends birthday. The lunches were excellent , service was really good and a comfortable place to enjoy a meal and very reasonably priced. Can highly recommend - will definitely visit again.

Ordered a chicken tikka kebab- chicken smelt sweaty and wasn’t cooked properly. Chips and garlic bread was good but the main part of my order wasn’t. I usually order from here with no issues…
