The Taste Hut in St. Helens

Hi the pizza was burned on the bottom and didn’t really taste as good as last time. The kebab was ok but yet again not as good as last time. Was 15/20 mins late but understood as drivers can be busy it’s a Saturday night.

Children’s nugget meal had 4 little nuggets and half a dozen chips in a tiny polystyrene box with no sign of the fruit shoot when we got it home. Ridiculous for £4.50.

Very tasty kebab and chips. Very good prices.

Hot and spicy pizza was lovely, as were the onion rings. Coleslaw was superb 😁

Good food & arrived early. They made a small mistake on the order but it was corrected straight away after a quick phone call, mistakes happen so understandable. Will order again soon!

the kofte meat was shocking one piece of meat on large kebab very dry over cooked very disappointed with the food tonight and will not be go back there shame because I use there a few times but that the second time I have been let down

Burgers were nice, but the sausage pizza was a bit burnt on the bottom and very salty. Delivery was quick.

Our food was 10 minutes early but we were ready to eat. Ordered from here as we’ve used them before. Once again the food was good and delivery was good. We will be back again at another time so hence recommend to others.

Not enough garlic in the garlic bread

overcooked, spicy beef burned to mini rocks, almost pepperoni free and not cut. won't order from here again.

This place is hit or miss and it was definitely a miss last night. On quite a few occasions now the salad has been sour (gone off) it spoilt the whole meal. We had the mixed kebab. I am not sure what the meat was, but it definitely was not lamb.

not what I ordered. ordered mixed shish kebab, but got chicken and donner. tasty food, but mistake of the order decreased excitement from overall food quality.

First time ordered from here and the nicest kebabs weve had in a long time, delivered in the time they gave us, fresh and still hot. Will definitely use this place again. Food lovely.

Really poor garlic bread with cheese

kebabs are amazing always are from here, but the chicken Wings are a massive let down, look/ taste cheap and hardly any meat on them. But overall kebabs are best I’ve had👍

One of the nicest kebabs I've had in a long time! Meat, presentation top quality and nice and hot on arrival.... Only thing to let it down was it was slightly later being delivered! This is now my New local take away for kebabs! 5*

The doner meat looked a funny colour and didn’t seem cooked. Very disappointed. We couldn’t eat it had to put straight into the bin. What a waste of money!

Was ok. Naan want great and Donner was quite bland but the grilled meat was cooked really well. Nothing amazing nut nothing to really complain about. Was average

If the lasagna is a chef's special I think you need a new chef I expected there to be a lovely rich sauce but in reality it was tasteless and dry, totally reheated. Straight in the bin, such a waste. Bought a frozen one a day later..100% better and used up the garlic bread from my original. Do not recommend this chef's special!..

One of the best takeaways in Newton/Earlestown! Great prices, quick delivery (even on a Saturday) and great food. Fully reccomend the Mixed Kebab

Always great food and fast service

Order time was changed and still didn’t make it on time. Pizza was cold when it arrived. However, it did taste nice. I understand there is pressure (lack of drivers etc) but it is a Monday night, I can’t imagine if it was a weekend I think this take away would really struggle. Disappointed that we spent nearly £20 on one pizza for it to come cold.

First time ordering food was great, lovely pizza and steak kebab was great too

late by 10mins but that is ok no garlic sauce but will be putting future orders in

2nd time it's been late on the bounce. Last time was 45 mins but it was a Saturday night. Tonight 25 mins...shame because we order loads from here. But it's making think about ordering again 😕

Simply the nicest kebabs we've ever had

Covered in Grease. Order from here quite a bit but the last 2/3 times the Donner Kebabs are covered in grease. The pitta bread is really soggy! Won't be ordering again.

This might have put me off taste hut for next time. Kebab meat has always been good when I have been before. Tonight it was swimming in fat soggy and tasteless. Had to leave most of it to the amount of fat Really not good. Also said it was on the way and took 40 mins to arrive. I will think again next time. Not the best as you pay so much for a takeaway. Not the best guys get it together.
