The best restaurants serving Default food in Barrow-in-Furness North West

Haven't tried the food but great place and family friendly.

Visited the new place in town and it was lovely! friendly staff, good selection of food and great milkshakes. just what town needed right now!

Ordered the set meal for 3 and one of the meals was prawn satay. When I was eating one of the prawns the texture was mushy and the taste of the prawn was potent and very fishy. I am 7 months pregnant and contacted the owner of happy garden who was very rude to me on the phone. I still had the prawn as evidence and he argued that the prawns were fresh and began to become verbally abusive to me on the phone. He was insinuating I was lying and was very aggressive and gave me no choice but to end the call. I’m very upset and disgusted in his behaviour and I’m very worried I will be unwell from eating his rotten prawns. If you could give 0 stars I would! And will also be contacting Trading Standards and FSA.

Great atmosphere,I had a lovely jacket potato with salad and my Mum had the one with hummus.both really tasty.Had local ice-cream to finish and it was so tasty and lots of flavours to choose from.Went back the next day and has sticky Toffee pudding and ice-cream and this was stunning. Good covd measures in place and helpful staff.Try this wonderful coffee shop you will not be disapointed.

Considering the coffee shop is adjacent to a ruin, I was expecting your average, tourist offering. I was happily surprised. We ordered baguettes, which seemed more like paninis. They were flavorful. I had bacon, brie & cranberry. The flat white hit the spot. And we shared a Victoria sponge cake that was our least favorite. Nevertheless, when you're with good friends, it makes for an even better lunch. Open Wednesdays - Sundays, 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Great plant based food and great beer, shame we had to get home for the babysitter otherwise we’d have stayed here for a few extra drinks.

Today the staff were being instructed loudly about what to do. Unsettling atmosphere. Not what one wants to hear. 2 tables downstairs.

Me encanta pedir mis comidas para llevar del Yungnien, tienen un menú para todos los gustos, ordenar es muy fácil y Jean te ayudará a hacer tus elecciones y te recomendará una comida que sabe que te encantará, muy recomendable.

Normalmente no dejo críticas negativas como no me gusta, pero esta vez lo sentí necesario. Los chips de sal y pimienta eran simplemente chips secos que parecían recalentados, nada más. La salsa de curry no tenía sabor y los chow mein eran solo fideos con carne barata. También encontré un pelo grande en mi comida que cerró el espectáculo para mí. No entiendo las críticas positivas, ya que fue una gran pérdida de dinero y las escribo para evitar que la gente desperdicie el dinero que tanto les costó ganar.

Una visita obligada para todo aquel que le guste la buena comida y un ambiente agradable. La comida siempre es deliciosa. Comida vegetariana y vegana aunque genial para cualquiera.

This has to be the best Chinese in barrow, the food is really nice, in fact every time my son comes from Manchester he comes here for their salt pepper chips, I don't think they are on barrow eats but they do deliver if you phone.cash only.

Lovely wee pub. We stopped in whilst in the area briefly. Very warm inside and we received a very warm friendly welcome by the regulars who were very nice to us and our dogs

Surprised by this one. I wasn’t expecting such a wide range of beers for a Robbies pub. Some good looking food going out, but I just had the soup and some good beer. Will be heading back to eat there soon

Really enjoyed eating here. An amazing meals, in a great location and atmosphere, with staff looking after the diners. Menu is diverse and offers choice, at reasonable prices. I do not think there is a restarant experience that matches in the Barrow area at the time of writing 19/01/2025.
