Just the best food 😋 absolutely faultless.

Food was tasteful but mega late. Waiting 2 hours after order then to wait an extra half hour over the delivery time was disappointing. If uses can’t meet delivery times for certain locations then I would reconsider whether or not it’s worth disappointing your customers over this. Overpriced in comparison to the other local takeaways. Take this review as a learning curve rather than a bad one, we all should learn from our mistakes after all 👍

Let’s start from the professional service we have received. The lady taking our order was able to help us understand which option is best for our requirements (vegetarian and not very spicy). We had two main vegetarian meals, one portion of fried noodle and one portion of fried rice. The food itself was enjoyable and at the end of the meal our stomach didn’t feel heavy. The fried noodles weren’t too fried and the vegetables we had looked fresh and were cooked just at the right point, resulting crunchy in a perfectly made juicy sauce. The take away takes cash only, but if you only have a card you can walk 10 feet to the post office and take some cash. I will definitely order again.

I would argue that this is probably the best Chinese in the Lake District. Have tried many different ones and always go back here. Now closed on Tuesdays as well as mondays and now closes at 10p.m

A MEAL A SUCCULENT CHINESE MEAL !

Our son recommended the Happy Garden. We thought that's a distance from Barrow, but we called on a trip back from Ravenglass a month or so back and had a delicious meal in the carpark overlooking the beach. Fortunately we were armed with picnic plates and cutlery Tonight we ordered a takeaway and even though a train held up the journey back our meals were hot, and more than lived up to expectations. Our meals were almost six pounds cheaper than the same meal recently ordered in Barrow. Thank-you, you see our choice from now on.

Brilliant food. Food is always fresh and tasty. Only Chinese I’ll go to! Our local regular Chinese that never disappoints. Although sometimes there are long waiting food on the weekends this is understanding. We are very happy there only a few minutes away from our home, although would love a delivery service. Mid-week orders are done extremely fast!

Tried this place for the first time recently since moving to the area, and also following recommendations and it did not disappoint. The food was really fresh and tasty and this will definitely be our go-to Chinese takeaway.

Got salt and pepper ribs, unfortunately we struggled to find any meat on the ribs very disappointing.

Orderd a simple chicken curry with chips and fried rice got told 20 minute wait!was more like an hour!!!!!! Unfortunately a dont like everything from there back garden in my chicken curry included mushrooms and carrots! Not my type of curry unfortunately! Other food is good from there but will definitely never ask for a chicken curry again!

Decent food, and a very popular choice for the locals and surroundings towns. Only real negative about this place is actually trying to get a meal due at the weekend, due to how popular it is

The best Chinese meal we've ever had, you just don't expect it from a takeaway. The Singapore noodles are amazing and I also really enjoy their chicken with ginger. Portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh and tasty and they don't skimp on the more expensive ingredients.
