Great plant based food and great beer, shame we had to get home for the babysitter otherwise we’d have stayed here for a few extra drinks.

I ehad Booked a table in advance for our wedding anniversary. On arrival the venue was very quiet however they apparently forgot we were coming. We were offered a seat after ordering a drink. We took a seat and then proceeded to wait. Another group eventually arrived for their booking 45 minutes after our own who were promptly greeted, asked for their drinks order and presented with menus. Meanwhile we had received no such service. We then decided to pay our tab and leave during which time there was no apology for the wait or even any such acknowledgement that we had been made to wait almost an hour without even being offered so much as a menu from which we could order our food. We had initially been quite excited to visit this venue but was left bitterly disappointed.

When to Odd Frog with 5 workmates and didn't know was.a plant based menu. Brilliant call me a vegan!

Visited Odd Frog for my husband's birthday. We both enjoyed the relaxed vibe, delicious food and impressive cocktails. All of the staff were super friendly and attentive. We also appreciate the efforts being made to turn this place into a carbon neutral venue.

Called in after struggling to find anywhere in the amount of time we had. Asked if they did food, plant based menu is all we have. Shrug of the shoulder by the wife and me, we went balls deep. We picked 3 plates, being non vegetarian we were not expecting that much, but we were blown away with the quality and tastes, so much so we returned the day after too. Total surprise and we loved it.

We were unsure what to expect from the food here, even the vegetarian was a bit apprehensive but had a really enjoyable meal. We opted to choose a number of small plates and the food was really tasty and couldn’t be faulted - we especially enjoyed the nachos. It’s great to see a restaurant of this quality in Barrow

I came here with my family for something different as we absolutely love tapas. We had a mix of the smaller tapas and a couple of larger plates (the ribs and the chicken and chorizo) both of these where absolutely delicious. All of the smaller plates where also top notch things of note would be the Gambas pill pill and the halloumi fries. We also got the cheese sharing platter and the ham one too but it was so much food we couldn't finish it! The quality of both of these was excellent also. Drinks we had the pino loco and the vimto daiquiri, extremely high quality cocktails at a reasonable price Overall we paid around £30 for a mountain of amazing quality food and a cocktail each which I was very impressed by. Very competitive pricing for a unique dining experience in barrow especially. Covid 19 protocols where fantastic with temperature checks in place (the only place doing this in Barrow as far as I know) Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone for food or drinks. Great to see somewhere different thriving in the town. Apologies for the lack of photos we where enjoying it to much to take any.

5/5 - food 5/5 - atmosphere 2/5 - service Hard to review as this was a strange evening due to covid restrictions - on arrival, shown to our table, was told she would come back to take our temperature (never did) waited over 15mins for anyone to come back (as didn't know procedure) husband got impatient so went to the bar to ask what was happening, he was told to place order at the bar..... So, placed order - 4 starters & 4 mains with sides - over half an hour later the garlic breads came out (which were sides with the mains) explained this, was then told by the same young girl who met us on arrival, well what would you like me to do ??? Extremely rude with an attitude, told her to take them back as we hadn't even had our starters yet !!! So eventually an hour later our starters came, lovely & tasteful but again, with the garlic breads - so told her to take them back, once again. At this point the mgr came over to apologise, we then got our mains & the garlic breads correctly this time - again, mains were delicious but came out literally as we had just finished our starters. Cocktails were amazing, frogstar martini their signature one is a must to try, lovely & got me quite tipsy. Had a lovely night, apart from the garlic breadgate & the snotty young girl's attitude, will definitely go again or get delivery as food is lovely.

Went for a couple of quiet drinks after work. Nice atmosphere as usual. Greeted by Jason who always goes out of his way to ensure you have a pleasant experience here. I had a few different craft beers and my girlfriend had a couple of cocktails (the salted caramel espresso martini is AMAZING). All very good. We also chose to have some tapas, Prawn with chorizo, halloumi chips and some calamari. All food was very tasty and we'll presented. Never had a bad meal in here. Can't wait to go again soon

Just popped out for a couple, ended staying for more...who could resist! Amazing food, drinks were awesome and the music was perfect! Always feel welcome as the staff bend over backwards to achieve the best customer service! Well done Odd Frog xx

Had the best time here with a range of different cocktails 🍸. Never thought I would enjoy tequila in a cocktail but the vimto daiquiri proved me wrong! Old favourite is the salted caramel martini, good twist on an already fab cocktail

Me and my family often choose to eat at the Odd Frog. Through lockdown we have ordered from the delivery service the food is always piping hot on delivery and always tastes delicious full of flavour. Last week we decided to venture out and eat in the restaurant. Me and my family felt very safe and the staff are pulling out all of the stops and following COVID guidelines. We ordered some of our favourite dishes and also some new ones. The food was outstanding, presentation is key for me generally and they ticked that box. The food is always fantastic and a great value for money. We also enjoyed some amazing creative coctails. One of my favourite places for coctails around here🥰 thanks Odd Frog staff!

We would ordinarily venture to Manchester or Liverpool for a rare date night, but stayed local with COVID uncertainty and was not disappointed. Brilliant food and attentive service means that even when going further afield is more of an option we will definitely be staying local and heading back to Odd Frog from time to time. Highly recommend

We frequent Odd Frog for food and drinks, and enjoy every visit. Be it for a coffee, cocktails or tapas, it's always worth a pop in. As a group of 4, we recently had four main tapas courses, each with four sides, and an extra starter, and it came to £50, just over £15 a head. I honestly believe that this is great value for money. On top of that, it's one of the only live music venues left in town that cater for all musical setups and genres. Oh, and hand sanitiser everywhere, markings on the floor and temperature checks on arrival 🦠

Having not been out for some time due to Covid restrictions, we were a little unsure of how it all would feel. All I can say is that with the systems in place at the Odd Frog we were made to feel very welcome and totally safe. The app for ordering food and drinks was excellent and would not wish to return to having to queue at a bar ever again! Felt like you were on holiday in Spain or Greece. The food selection was great and wow! The cocktails... yes as some have said a little more expensive than some places, but well worth it! They definitely don’t hold back on the alcohol portions and the presentation is 1st class. You must try the Fruit pastel one.... designed to share... managed to keep it all to myself!
