Excellent place to eat, great food and great service

I was really lucky to get a reservation just four hours before our seating. On the way there, we noticed a huge amount of hype—locals seemed incredibly proud of this small canteen, and I was admittedly very excited. Looking at Instagram, the food and presentation looked insane, and when we arrived, the atmosphere was unmatched. It’s a really cozy and cute spot. That said, there were a few issues. The service was a bit slow, and the waiter kept bringing me the wrong drink, which made ordering frustrating. The food itself was OK. The chicken was slightly cold with wet skin, and the crab tart was pretty poor. The lasagna, however, was decent. Overall, you won’t find anything here but homely cooking. I definitely agree that this restaurant is special, and the food is good, but it wasn’t amazing or, in my opinion, deserving of the hype. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I left unimpressed. It’s taken me a few weeks to think this review over I really want to love this meal but admittedly I can’t sorry guys amazing place and presentation tho

I had the best treat for a sunny and warm day like today… delicious homemade tiramisu in a pot ☺️ grazie mille!

This place just gets better and better. Have just had lunch here with a friend. We both agree this was the best lunch we've had in ages. All vegetarian. I had rainbow falafel salad with pomegranate and chilli dressing, she had a salad with halloumi. Both delicious. Mine was amazing. Gluten free bread was at least if not more delicious than the regular. Banana bread similarly lovely and very generous portion. Do note that the address is Windsor Terrace, and sometimes wrongly labelled Cafe 22, which was a previous incarnation and not a patch on this.

Wonderful food and atmosphere and fair price

Wow un almuerzo fantástico - el ajo salvaje era increíble junto con la papa real de jersey - tan sabroso y la mejilla de ternera era hermosa y tierna junto con el postre Wowsa El servicio fue amable y atento Almuerzo perfecto ❤️

A lovely little place between Jesmond, Heaton and the City Centre - mainly student focused but a variety of clientele and a well priced Sunday Roast menu (from 1 to 3 courses).

Some confusion over the meal deal offering, but other than that, a great visit.

Really tasty food and helpful staff. Not many seats so be sure to book a table in advance. A little expensive but overall really good!

¡Una joya escondida en Sandyford! Mis amigos y yo llamamos tarde para una mesa y el personal era increíble, ya que dimos nuestra orden por teléfono, así que cuando llegamos allí la pizza estaba lista súper rápido! El personal era muy servicial y amable y la pizza era deliciosa.

Gran servicio, cálida bienvenida y comida increíble. Soy vegetariana y pedí a Dhai Baigon que fuera realmente suculento. . mi amiga tenía chuletas de cordero y biryani y estaban súper deliciosos. . el camarero era muy educado, y amable. Las fotos no justifican el sabor. Realmente relación calidad-precio! Sin duda volvería de nuevo.

Busy and vibrant when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. It’s a lovely walk through the park from the city centre and was great to see everyone out with their dogs. The Jakehead IPA is amazing as were the Patty Melts, though you had to buy tokens first to purchase them

Just heard that Vinny’s which was the fantastic Italian pop up at Patricia is no more! Gutted as it was one of the best Italian restaurants out there! Visited multiple times and always had great meals! I hope whatever they’ve got planned is just as good!
