Came here whilst on holiday in Jesmond. Fantastic service, nothing was too much trouble even though we changed their menu slightly! Food was delicious

This place has everything. Great atmosphere, inside and outside and excellent food.

Absolutamente exuberante desayuno! El lugar es peculiar y con carácter. Buen servicio. Una amplia y variada selección de menús. Teníamos huevos, tocino y salchichas. Generosas porciones. Un excelente lado de pudín negro. Delicioso todo el día. Buen café. Y un ambiente relajado y fresco. Estábamos de visita desde Londres y desearíamos tener algo tan bueno cerca en casa. Jesmond rocks.

Went to Arlo for brunch in a Bridal Group. Lucas & he’s excellent team looked after us. Food was excellent, cocktails very good, it’s atmospheric and service outstanding.

Best American styled burger I have in the UK. It taste like home.

Got a takeaway kofta platter for 16.50. Two meat cylinders with nice flavour. However got some dead chips some basic salad and some pita, which could all be straight from asda. Wasn't worth the money at all.

Arrived for my stay- and the hotel was being used as a refuge centre, so I was unable to stay over. The hotel took my money, and I was stranded in Newcastle trying to find an alternative place to stay for the weekend, with limited budget and hotel availability.

the nicest staff i’ve ever met, came to brack burger in stack on saturday 10th may, credit to the business the nicest people i’ve ever met, what a lovely company, the chips are also the nicest chips i’ve ever eaten, my first night in newcastle and i will be here forever more

Qué fantástico restaurante. Reservado aquí para el almuerzo para el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Llegamos temprano y nos dijeron que podíamos entrar ( reservando para las 12 : 15 llegamos a las 11: 45 ) y se les mostró una mesa de dos plazas pero luego preguntamos si nos gustaría pasar a una mesa con más espacio. El menú es muy bueno y optamos por el especial de dos platos a £ 11. 95 . Mi esposa tenía los hongos de ajo como entrada y Lasaña como principal. Tomé sopa del día y penne cremonlino. Como extra especial nuestro camarero también le dio a mi esposa una rodaja de pastel de chocolate caliente con vela y jugó feliz cumpleaños. Si no has estado aquí sin duda recomendaría no solo por la comida, sino también el ambiente y el servicio. 5 * sin duda volveremos. Muchas gracias a todos.

Really good range of drinks in a classical Jesmond Victorian building once a private dwelling. Excellent service at all times. Food really good. Outside tv screens and heaters. The classic Burger is so nice. Only gripe: background music is the worst unless there’s a DJ.

Been to Jam jar for their bottomless brunch twice the past year. I was so impressed the first time I booked again and it was equally fantastic this time. Amazing service, great range of drinks, fantastic value and delicious food. If you're looking for bottomless brunch in Newcastle this is the one!

We booked two rooms at this hotel earlier last month because of a good review over the last 1 year. However, upon reaching our rooms 10 days ago (which we checked out from another hotel in the city centre with the expectation for a quiet stay), it was below our expectation. There is no lift and you need to carry your luggages upstairs and along the corridor. Need sometime to familiarise your way in and out of your room. Car parking lots are limited (about 20 lots) and if unlucky needs to park some 300 metres away. The standard single room is small and not much space for luggages, not worth it for GBP100 per night. No complimentary drinking/mineral water. Quite noisy during weekends but the noises ceased before midnight. As the hotel is an old building, the floor along the corridor and in the room make squeaky noise when people walk on it. The complementary breakfast was simple and met our expectation with restricted food requirements. However, the orange juice had no taste of orange.

It was great. And the pizza's are so delicious 😋 I recommend to give them a visit 😋 ❤️

Arrived on holiday to discover it was shut. It’s Good Friday- not the best start to a break. Awaiting the restaurants response.
