Our fav refuel stop along the family bike rides! Dogs, horses, barns and the total farmer vibe is incredible. Work just on weekends. Children can’t wait it. Their motivation to ride on weekdays are decreasing now 😂 As usual we have tea, coffee, scones. If we are with friends they have ice cream balls🍨 Cheese scones are the top! 🧀 Coffee is made of good quality beans. Will specify it. ☕️🫖 Everything is served with love and care. Every single detail is thoughtfully organised. Toilet is available on site. Outside sitting on the picnic tables and under the cover/shed/barn roof. Blocks of hey in summer.

An open air cafe with some roof protection from any rain, Great range of coffees and a good range of hot and cold food or humans and for dogs. I am always spoiled for choice but a do have a penchant for the bacon bap.. Make sure you dress for the weather, the wind can be quite strong. Watch out for hard cricket balls when there is a game going on (which is not very often)

Unfortunately overcharged quite a lot at this place. I would have loved to have returned but won’t now.

Came here for my girlfriends birthday this afternoon, and we both thought it was amazing. From the service, to the taste, to the atmosphere inside, it’s a true gem of a place. The guy who served us was a top bloke, made us laugh and was super friendly. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone in St Albans or in the surrounding areas. Top place.

We have just enjoyed a really lovely relaxed Afternoon Tea at Queen of Hearts Redbourn, thankyou very much, we highly recommend.

One of our favourite coffee shops in St Albans but sadly is closed everytime we’ve visited recently. Hope all is ok with the team

Popped in for a drinky poo , gin and tonic lovely, small old fashioned drinking venue, very welcoming, standing room mainly but some cosy seating otherwise

A small, yet quality restaurant where food served here is very good. Great attention to providing quality and value, great staff, and we always enjoy our early evening meal here once a month👍

Totally recommend Laurel House - we had another fantastic meal tonight. The food is delicious and so well cooked with really friendly and attentive service. Very reasonably priced too! It’s such a great option for my family and a good way for my kids to experience favourites like burger and chips with a bit more seasoning and spice!

This is a great place for a large, well cooked breakfast, By 9.30am most of the tables were full and I can see why. Friendly staff, good tea, excellent food and a lovely local relaxed atmosphere. I had the Bubble and Squeak with extra mushrooms and bacon, and it was lovely; good portion, well cooked.

Love the beers .... brewery moved to Redbourn ...try 'Great Level End' (sic)...nothing here now.

The food was delicious. Fresh and cooked perfectly. The lady serving us wonderful, helpful. A lovely little cafe, worth trying their tasty Greek food and breakfasts. Coffee good and fruit juice freshly made. What a wonderful way to start the day :-)
