The food was delicious. Fresh and cooked perfectly. The lady serving us wonderful, helpful. A lovely little cafe, worth trying their tasty Greek food and breakfasts. Coffee good and fruit juice freshly made. What a wonderful way to start the day :-)

Yiayia's Kitchen has certainly been missed over lockdown. My family and I couldn't wait to book a table when they re-opened and the food and service was even better than we remembered. The food really is authentic and it is made with the best quality ingredients. We can't wait for our next booking!

Can’t recommend the food here enough! Have had take aways on many occasions and now that we can thankfully eat out, it has been even more enjoyable popping down there for a Friday meal. The chicken souvlakia and haloumi chips are a must! See you again soon Yiayias

New to the area and grabbed a takeaway with my boyfriend, the food was so good and the staff are funny! Best takeaway in the area!

If you enjoy meat cooked on coal, this is the place to go. All the staff are friendly and hard working. Different staff came round frequently to ensure we are ok, even when they were really busy with take seats. The food is really nice and tasty. The veg is freshly prepared. Although we did not drink alcohol on this occasion, they are licensed. We visited for dinner and we ate in. I think majority of the trade is take away, they do have 4 tables inside and a couple outside. As we visited in the evening, off street parking was not an issue or we were just lucky. We had a lovely meal and would definitely return.

We ordered a selection of Yia Yia menu for my birthday party which also included a couple of vegetarian guests. The food was hot, delicious, generous portions and hugely enjoyed by us all! Really good value. We will certainly do this again for future parties - there was something for everyone and they kindly gave us some complimentary baklava which was very much appreciated. Thank you Yia Yia!!

Wonderful food, so very helpful staff, great for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The spanakopita is superb.

We discovered YiaYias about a year ago and can’t get enough of it! It’s our go to takeaway. The staff are a top bunch of people who are always welcoming and friendly. As a vegan and a vegetarian they have a clear labelled menu and we know we can trust that we will not get the wrong thing. If you haven’t had them yet order the falafels as they are honestly the best you’ll ever taste.

We got a couple of takeaways here on sunny lockdown days and the food was delicious both times. The portions are good value for money. We will definitely be returning when they reopen from refurbishment!

I passed this place a few times and always seems busy so I thought I’d give it a go staff extremely friendly and welcoming and helpful I’m quite fussy eater but how the food was describe I was hooked before I even tasted one of there amazing chips and the meat was just out of this world I had a lamb and pork wrap with all the trimmings it was out of this world would highly recommend this eatery any day of the weeks !!!

Lovely food, great service, had heard of YiaYia’s from our daughter who lives in St Albans and is a regular at the establishment. A little bit of Cyprus in St Albans, cannot recommend it highly enough, it’s just great .

We had an excellent take away from Yia Yia's at the weekend. I particularly enjoyed the swordfish and delicious fresh dips. It was so good, it made up for the fact that we couldn't go out to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

This place does the best grilled meats - chicken and lamb, and the chips are fantastic too. When I was dozy enough to leave my wallet at the front counter, the manager came and brought my wallet to my house, OUTSTANDING! A brilliant place.
