I have eaten Lebanese Kitchen a lot over the last 4 years. Not sure what has changed, but my last two order have just not been the same. Not sure if it’s new suppliers, new owners or something else. But the food is just not fresh - salad is limp and not fresh, chips freezing and stale and chicken tough. Only winning factor at this point is the staff who are great.

Just received an Uber eats order one item missing Shish Taouk . Called them and they basically said I was lying or it was down to the Uber driver . I rarely have deliveries I usually go in and pay cash . No more appalling attitude

Lebanese kitchen is my favourite takeaway in town. The food is really tasty and as I have a dietary restriction getting takeaways can be tricky. LK are always so helpful adapting dishes so they are suitable for me to eat.

Got food poison from chicken shawarma. 3 days terribly sick. I should have become suspicious when I entered the venue to order and they could not turn the heated griddle which suppose to cook the meat, I wonder how long that meat was hanging there but because I had meals there before I chose to trust them with disastrous consequences. :-( NEVER AGAIN

Their food is top of my list, and they never let me down. Now I am moved to another city but whenever I am in the area then I try not to miss their mix grill. Highly recommended!

Our whole team loves the wholesome, authentic Lebanese food from this restaurant. We regularly get deliveries for our lunch, our favourite dish being the half chicken with rice. The owner, Mohamed is very personable and and manages a top team of chefs. We recently placed a large order of for Mediterranean platters to go with a Lebanese wine tasting and Mohamed spent time with us choosing the right dishes and making sure we had enough food to go around. We highly recommend this place!

Firstly the delivery was about 45 minutes late. Was fasting so was very hungry. Opened the bag and my chips were all in the plastic bag. Both the chips and the lamb shawarma were cold, there is nothing worse than cold chips. WON’T be ordering from there again

Terrible delivery service and food was cold

We ate in this week and had the mixed platter, baby chicken and mixed grill. All delicious with Moroccan tea. So well looked after and loved the food thanks

I haven't been to the restaurant but ordered food for delivery. The Falafel was very delicious and, most importantly, authentic. The mixed mezze was various and tasty, especially Batat Harra. The food was fresh, nicely packed, and well priced.

Unfortunately our mixed grill was completely cold but the time it arrived. Soggy chips also. Never had a problem before so hopefully a one off

Waited an hour for the order it was delayed due to a driver not being assigned, I phoned the restaurant to voice my concern that the food would have been sitting around and will get cold they assured me they have containers to keep it hot for 30minutes yet when a driver finally arrived at our door it was over an hour on top or our expected delivery date. Wonderful Gem of a restuarant. Try anything on the menu and you will never be disapointed. I strongly reccommend the seabass however. Highly reccommend.

Enjoyed the food. Expect simple facilities. Bring your own wet wipes, as no toilets or wash basin. And with finger food, it can get messy, especially with kids. However we didn't come for facilities, but for the food which was good. Very much enjoyed by kids and adults alike.

I'm not one to post negative reviews, but we had such a terrible experience I needed to share so others don't experience the same. We ordered an office lunch at 11am over Deliveroo to be delivered for 1pm. Order wasn't picked up on the app for an hour, even though they were supposed to open at 11am, so called them at 12. Their response on the phone was 'we haven't looked at our orders yet', so I explained that it was a big order that needed to be delivered within the next hour, so they said they would take a look. I then received a cancellation of the order 15 mins later at 12.15. When I called them back they just said they can't do the order and hung up on me. Poor customer service and left us with 45 mins to source lunch for the office.

As people have previously stated, the stater for 1 is tiny, the falafel is so small that of course it’s dry. And chips were dry and old. The chicken shawarma wrap was the only nice part.

The guy came on a car so that’s why took him so long in traffic, waited nearly 1 hour for my order to arrive. The grill food was good

Delivered on time but food was cold. A tip for the restaurant - if you're going to provide a takeaway service for hot food, make sure your delivery driver has a thermal bag to keep the food as hot as possible. The driver delivering to me brought it in a carrier bag and the food was cold by the time he reached me!!!!!!

Been here a few times so decided to visit again. Ordered the mixed starter for two. And then 2 wraps. All food perfect. Very tasty. Freshly cooked, served in good time. Cash only if you are using the restaurant. Really can't fault this place.

I’ve been going here ever since they’ve opened and can say they have remained consistent. The only feedback i would suggest is they need to use more environmentally packaging and i do think sometimes the grilled chicken at times could be more fresh. But their consistency is why i go back regularly

I usually get so much chicken shawarma but today I got hardly any meat, really disappointing as we buy from here a lot and highly regard it. Top notch quality just disappointing amount of chicken today.

Received a wrong order, with two items missing. Deliveroo offered £6 as a compensation for the missing items and inconvenience, which is nothing but pathetic! You will be surprised how businesses are being run these days..

Ordered on Friday night over the phone for collection. Easy, friendly communication and very efficient! Was ready to pick up within 20 mins. Quick, friendly collection and everything was piping hot. The baby half chicken was beautiful and huge! We chose this with salad and fries. The salad was fresh and the chips had a lovely, light seasoning. We also had the Kofte Orfely with rice which was also a very good size and seasoned perfectly. 10/10 would highly recommend, especially for such brilliant value.

Delicious food at great prices. Service was very friendly and speedy. We ate in the place, a bit cold with delivery people constantly in and out. Limited seating. Next time(s) will use as a takeaway or delivery. It may be temporary, but at the moment no cards, just cash.

In one word - DELICIOUS! Ordered the mix for 2 and the chicken sambousek, arrived in less than 30 minutes, and was absolutely a treat. Meats and chicken grilled perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. Our new go-to place for meat in St. Albans.

Ordered on Deliveroo. Had the fattoush and mixed starter for one. Food tasted good and came in good time. Shame the fattoush came with only 3 x 1cm cubes of halloumi, the rest was salad – cucumber, tomato, iceberg lettuce, loads of fried crispy bread, and dressing, oh and a couple of olives.

Ordered takeaway. First timer at Lebanese Kitchen. Very tasty shish chicken and lamb. The fries were nice too. My only suggestion is put salad in separate bag and not kept warm in the box with the hot food. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I visited here today, we are not from the area but have been here before. We think the service is excellent, and the food is to die for! We highly recommend this beautiful authentic rustic cafe. Thank you guys-we will be back.

Unseasoned and unsatisfying. The fatoush salad tasted like some raw ingredients thrown together without any dressing. The wraps were also disappointing. The meat wasn't bad, but was pretty much unseasoned. Thrown together with some lettuce and wrapped without any sauces makes for something you can eat but leaving you very disappointed.

What they call Arabic bread is just sainsburys own tortilla wraps which were cold & hard. The mezze for 2 wouldn't even feed a rat, it was a pathetic portion size. All the meat included was dry. The falafels were SO DRY like SOOO DRY & tasted of fish!! They were definitely cooked in the same oil as their fish! Nothing was fresh, nothing was hot, nothing was good!! AVOID THIS PLACE!

This has got to be the most under rated place I've eaten at. The food was a. Amazing. Service was excellent We didn't have to book ahead or wait for ages to get our meals. Give it a try when you get the chance. In today's economic crisis, it's one of the best value for money places to eat

We finally got to visit after reading the great reviews, and we were not disappointed! We settled on the special mixed grill for two, to sample the various Lebanese dishes. Mo and his team were great and the food and service was great. Look forward to visiting again soon!

This is probably my favourite restaurant in all of St Albans. Having spent the majority of the last 2 years in this city due to covid-19 crisis and working from home, I was able to try out most of the restaurants in the area. This one stands out above most. Though I don't recommend eating at the venue, as the place is tiny, it's super easy to just call 15-20 minutes before to collect your order. A super friendly gentleman always answers the phone and makes it easy to make adjustments to your order. The food is phenomenal, and feels like proper homemade stuff, and the price is quite low given the quality. Highly recommend the mixed grill (for one or two) as it allows you to try out multiple meats. The chips and rice are outstanding as well, and the chicken shawarma is probably the best in town. The lamb, which is usually overcooked and chewy in most places, is actually properly cooked and feels fresh and flavourful. And because they use real coal in their grills, the chicken and meat always has that unique unbeatable flavour.

Ordered a takeaway and it was so naf! Absolutely no pride went into the making of this meal; it seemed like they were just cutting corners on everything. How this place has 4.7 stars begs believe - peoples' standards must be really low or there's a bit of self reviewing going on... Ordered a falafel wrap. It was rubbish; soft and definitely not fresh, with a bit of lettuce shoved in and a bit of tomato. No hummus or tahini (as it said on the menu!). Likewise, I had some rice which was pretty much the same as you'd get in a 'boil in a bag' from the supermarket - pre cut vegetables etc. Grim. Then to top it off Everything came in a polystyrene boxes COME ON have you guys been living under a rock the last 5 years ?! Lets reduce plastic and use cardboard/paper/ etc. Won't be going here again unless they change their ways and start making a bit more effort.

Ordered a falafel wrap for takeaway. The actual falafel is nice but this isn't a falafel wrap too be honest. It's falafel with a bit of lettuce and tomato in a wrap. No sauces in there, wasn't even asked when I was in there, need more fresh items in there like cabbage, shredded carrot etc. Sorry to say I wouldn't buy a falafel from here, it's nothing special for the money you pay. I called and spoke to someone about them offering sauces inside it, I told them I didn't like it and he said okay that's fine and put the phone down on me. 👏Great customer service, not even asked how it could be improved. Not going to visit here again.

First time take away, ordered on a whim to try something new. Ordered a mixed grill dish for 2 with fries- absolutely incredible! We were so pleasantly surprised especially for the price. Delicious, fresh, generous portion, incredibly flavour and spice, very quick service especially since it was peak ordering time on a Saturday. Even the fries (which I never eat) were sensational, we finished the lot! Very very happy, thank you very much, will be ordering from you again. True gem!

I travel from Essex to eat here.. and it’s worth it! The best Lebanese you will ever taste. Bursting with flavour, friendly, welcoming staff and great prices. What more could you ask for?

Ordered a take away. Terrible, can’t see how they can be called Lebanese kitchen . Not even the bread was Lebanese. The grilled smoked aubergine was vile . The Hummus was awful the vine leaves was stuffed with just rice. Ordered a half grilled chicken it was burnt and dry . Would not recommend.
