The best restaurants serving Default food in Epping Forest East of England

Since I can remember in the 70's, this used to be the best Chinese takeaway for miles, unfortunately, now it's one of the worst! We ordered a takeaway for 3 of us for my husbands birthday, new year's eve. We placed the order at 8.30pm and received it shortly before 11pm! We appreciate they were busy but when the food arrived it was luke warm, the chips were dry and cold and the satay chicken looked like 4 turds in a foil tray... they didn't even taste like satay! The chilli beef was lovely though. That's about the only positive I can honestly give for this food on this occasion!

.went to de mangos to try one more time as our first time it wasn’t very good to our surprise new people had just taken over and boy where they excellent if you are visiting or live in the abbey you got to try it if they carry on like this they will smash all the other Asian restaurants/takeaways the food the staff all above excellent they even have a vegan menu running alongside the traditional one also they have a section in which they have their own dishes it remains de mangos for now but it will have a name change soon so watch out we highly recommend

She makes the best Quiche Lorraine I have ever tasted in my life. Coffee is excellent as is the servive

Excellent cod and chips + soft drink,all for £7.95 also picked up 2 pie n mash for Danny the other week and they enjoyed it too Well done OWIF

We had such a lovely lunch great roast lamb. We were looked after by Chris who is such a legend. He was very accommodating.

I read mixed reviews for here but I must say I always have had an excellent time here. Slow service is often pointed out yet tonight our service was friendly, fast and attentive but not over intrusive provided by Paul. The food was swiftly brought up and freshly cooked and delicious. Another gripe is the private parking scheme and here I think it would be a good idea to remind all customers when you serve them of the need to register their number plate. Thanks to all.

What a wonderful and clean place! What a wonderful and helpful staff! I’m coming at the Village Deli every day for a coffee as they have the best one! Food and cakes are so yummy as well! Definitely recommend to visit this amazing place!

Avoid this place at all costs. First off, the order of 2 chicken shish came 30 minutes late and they completely ignored the additional notes where I asked for no onions or chilli sauce, there's no point on you having that box if you're going to ignore the requests. Secondly, the food was so sickly and just not worth any amount of money... I called back about the wrong order and they said they will send a new one; which also came half an hour late. When I called to ask where it was they hung up on me.

First time we have had a takeaway from new china, We was a bit worried because of the negative reviews.We all really enjoyed our food.

We went with friends on Saturday evening and had a wonderful meal with very attentive service. We have been before and had the lunch menu (also highly recommended) and Highly recommended.

Amazing Service, Amazing staff The Food was Very Delicious

We stayed for a couple of nights as we were attending a family funeral, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was superb. It made a sad occasion more bearable thanks to the hospitality of Tony and Nicola and would throughly recommend both the hotel and Inn, Thank you 10/10, Cheryl & Paul

What disgrace out with friends, group of guys started fighting, no security staff, evening ended abruptly with police being called..

Love the Gail’s in Epping, very clean, friendly staff, manager there, I think Sarah is her name, very cool. And love the freshness of the cooking (my fav pecan and oat cookie)
