Love the Gail’s in Epping, very clean, friendly staff, manager there, I think Sarah is her name, very cool. And love the freshness of the cooking (my fav pecan and oat cookie)

What a disaster, avoid at all cost! Gail’s is my ‘go to coffee/bakers’ in London and other areas. Epping Gail’s has staff that are belligerent and not good brand ambassadors for Gail’s. I guess immediate training and deep dive is required at this branch before the whole companies brand and ethos is tarnished by employees who just don’t care.

Not my first visit but will definitely be my last. Dirty tables (every single table had used crockery on) Miserable staff Dirty floors Breakfast bar top was covered in crumbs and crockery

Passing through Epping I wanted to experience an artisan break. First visit to GAIL's and I was not disappointed. Very friendly - and clearly popular with new mums. I was also surprised to find that dogs are allowed (as long as they are accompanied by a human). The food was excellent and all cooked and prepared on the premises. I felt that the meal I had - Pastrami with mustard in a large seedy roll followed by a lovely apple and cinnamon muffin and a pleasant cappuccino for just over £17 was very good value. If you want a pleasant, homely, honest environment in which to unwind while in Epping, this is certainly a good place to go.

Uncomfortable seating wooden seats and wooden stalls, and dark and dingy inside. Food choice was limited and expensive. Two coffees, a bagel and a croissant was £21.80. Also would not take cash was card only to pay which is a particular bug bear of mine. All in all won't visit again and can't recommend.

I had a lovely experience here in the morning a few days ago. I ordered a flat white and a croissant. Both were delicious! But I particularly enjoyed chatting with the Barista Nate, he was super fast at making my coffee AND still managed to draw a swan on it! All round, a fab experience

Gail's bakery offers limited seating area, serve tea / coffee, some bakery foods and limited cooed foods. Although the staff were friendly, was disappointed that Gail's is going down the "cashless" route, not good for freedom. Eating 'in' the food is expensive for what you get, the hot chocolate is the smallest we've ever seen and served in a completely impractical handle-less mini 'cup' First and last visit by the looks of things.
