Stayed at Dalbeattie for a couple of days and decided to treat ourselves to a Chinese Takeaway from Sea Horse. The service was very prompt and the food was absolutely excellent and portions huge. (And so well priced as well!) I genuinely do not understand some of the poor reviews. This was the BEST chinese takeaway food we have had in a long time. 😋😋😋😋😋😋

I am not usually a huge fan of take-aways but this really was very tasty and didn't give off too much of the usual extra-artificial colourings and flavourings. The veg was nicely chopped and cooked, the meats (sweet chilli chicken, duck chow mein) tasted nice and seasoning was just right too.

Popped in for some takeaway Chinese food. Everything was delicious, the wife and I really enjoyed our food. Great prices and lovely staff. A short drive from Southerness where we are on holiday. Short waiting time for the takeaway food as well. Would definitely recommend.

We first came here a year ago and it’s possibly a bit embarrassing how many times we’ve been since! This place is amazing. We revisit at least once a month and can’t see it ever getting boring! The whole concept is brilliant. The smell when you go in, the food, the choice and the make your own sauce station 🥰😋. Not to mention the staff who are great. Our friends must be sick of hearing about the place. We’re again this afternoon 🤣.

Sorry I gave this place 4 ☆☆☆☆ 3 years ago. But today its 1 curry sauce was a very small tub not enough to go with the order. Chow mein was dry . I put it in the bin Sorry but I won't be back...

The food from here is good which is a shame as the service and staff are disgraceful. Told ( not for the first time) delivery would be 1 hour when I ordered at 1710. Rang back at 1840 when nothing had come and was told food had just left. We live 10 minutes away so when nothing had arrived after 20 minutes I rang back and was told it would be leaving shortly ! I asked the girl why she had blatantly lied just before and her answer was to hang up......they just don't deserve the custom !!

Visited this takeaway as has good review on this site,ordered chicken fried rice,salt and pepper ribs and chicken curry with fried rice. In area I live the chicken curry just has onion in it but this had carrot and peas.ribs tender and tasty but chicken fried rice very pale and yellow looking asif fried in butter and not alot of chicken.wouldn’t return if in the area again

Lovely staff. Very quick and friendly service. They even had a gluten free menu and included free prawn crackers !

Lovely welcome and good menu selection. Generous portions, reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I have dined at this Restaurant several times, both food and service is of a consistently high standard. I would recommend without hesitation. Eddie Reid
