Always get takeaway from here, class food, usually pretty quick with delivery (usually about an hour) Love it 👍

Having become disenchanted with our normal chinese we tried Fei Wong on a friends recommendation. We were not disappointed......having been for a carry out about eitght times now we have found it to be consistently good.

Just had lemon chicken from Fei Wong. They must have used second hand chicken, dry as a nun. The service was more interested in having pictures taken of her by the guy. Lemon chicken was always lovely. Shame.

Food was excellent. Had to wait a while on the order but at least you know it's cooked fresh for you. Would recommend

We were visiting the area, not locals. Ordered a takeaway by telephone, it was ready when we arrived. The food order was correct and the food was absolutely fine. We had satay beef, beef and black bean sauce, Singapore noodles and sweet and sour chicken. Fried rice, Chips and prawn crackers. All decent quality, no better or worse than you can get at your own local favourite Chinese type takeaway. Prices were also ok. I would personally use it again if I was in the area.

Friendly staff and a great place to go for meals

Best Chinese carryout we've found since moving into the Galashiels area over two years ago and we've tried most of them. Won't go anywhere else next time we fancy a Chinese. Proper chicken breast meat in both meals, nicely spiced, good sauces, good sized portions, I had to leave some and that's not like me.

My favourite Chinese. Dont got anywhere else. Always quick for me to collect and great portions

Certainly best menu and best, most authentic chinese meal I have had anywhere in Ayrshire or Scottish Borders ever and that's saying something as I am very fussy where chinese food is concerned. Will certainly stick to Fei Wong even though it is not the closest to where I live.

Stuck to the toilet ever since cheers guys if I wanted food poisoning I'd have went and ate a piece of raw meat would have been cheaper anyways Defo wouldn't recommend

They deserve every star. I've occasionally had a miss from these guys but the quality and consistency beats just about any other Chinese I've ever tried in UK. Best take away you will find in Galashiels area without question

We get a delivery from fei wong fairly regularly and don't usually have a problem, however tonight definitely did not live up to expectations. My son-in-law phoned at 1730 with our order, he was told it would be delivered in approximately an hour and a half. He asked for my meal without nuts as they have an immediate impact on my stomach which is very unpleasant for me. At 1930 our meal hadn't arrived so he phoned for an update and was told it would be half an hour as they hadn't started preparing it. By 2000, 2.5 hours after ordering, the meal still hadn't arrived so my husband phoned, he was told the only way to get the meal soon was to collect it so my husband and son-in-law walked to collect it. We were all exceptionally hungry by this time. My meal had nuts, in spite of the request not to include them, I took a chance and picked out chicken without nuts, however, I had to run straight to the toilet. My husband called fei wong to explain and the manager was not at interested in my problem, just said she would get a replacement meal delivered, which she did but it was really too little too late. Overall this was a terrible experience

Another lovely take away from this Chinese take away . Great choices and happy staff. We have used this one for a long time now after a recommendations from a friend. Remember to phone your orders in or may will wait sometime for your food. I would definitely recommend this place and will return over and over again.

I have worked for the Scottish food magazine for 12 years And I have be to a lot of Chinese takeaways and this is one Of my top 5 favourite Chinese takeaways in the whole of Scotland. My favourite things on the menu is the lemon chicken and soft noodles.

...since records began! I haven't tasted curry sauce so tasty since President Rushmore was in office. And they sure ain't shy with the ladel either. I prefer a good helping of curry and sauce and chips in my container... and boy did they deliver. I was stopping strangers in the street and offering them a chip because I just felt like I had to share the joy they brought to my soul. The world would be a better place if this was on every menu. 9 out of 9 stars from me.

First time we have used the Fei Wong but it certainly won’t be the last. Food was good - large portions ! & I was very impressed with the staff.

Happy to make a couple of changes to our order to make it vegan friendly. Food tasty as always and good portion sizes. Prices very reasonable and nice staff.

I got a take away tonight and have to say, it was lovely! Busy Friday night but still decent delivery time. Would recommend

The food was made very quickly, the portions were very good and good value for money. I’ve had better tasting but I think I always go with what I’m used to. I would gladly use Fei Wong again.

Can't believe I'm rating it at all. Used to be a great place to get Chinese food but highly disappointed with my last meal. Nothing special about my Special chow mein... processed ham and the tiniest prawns I've ever seen.

Looked for "best Chinese takeaway in Galashiels". Tried this one and was very satisfied. 7 of us ate for 35 quid. Free 2ltr Diet Coke and prawn crackers thrown in. Tasty meal, enough for some the night after !!

Best carry out Chinese meals in the borders, never longer than 20 minutes to wait, huge portions for left over lunches next day

Best local Chinese takeaway around, the salt and spicy chicken wings are lush and so reasonably priced just like the rest of the menu. I would recommend the chilli chicken. It is also available to order and collect or to be delivered which is handy if you live a bit away or are just wanting a lazy night in. It is also open till late which is amazing if you do shift work or are out for a night On the town.

Absolute tosh, took 2 hours for food

I placed a relatively small order , two hours ago and it is still not arrived.We phoned in and they haven't even put out the delivery yet

Go to the wong most weekends it's the best Chinese in galashiels and the staff are so friendly when you phone a order it's always ready for you and you get the odd extra such as cookie fortunes, chopsticks and spring rolls

Best curry I've ever tasted well worth a visit,would recommend curry king prawn fried rice portion mushrooms ,prawn crackers and not forgetting the fortune cookie ,well worth the money

Average quality food delivered from this carry out restaurant. Although hot it was very greasy and it's unlikely we'll buy a meal from them again. Delivery man very pleasant.

This is the local Chinese Takeaway and in my opinion the best in the town. Excellent food, normally quickly prepared (it sometimes can be very busy but as with all freshly prepared food you sometimes have to wait!) and the staff are lovely. Owner is normally always on hand to answer questions and is VERY knowledgeable. Gluten free is also available on asking. Would definitely recommend this takeaway.

from over an hour wait for delivery to wrong order, the kung po was bland the shredded chicken was smothered in honey. wont be back wont recommend. tried phoning to complain about the wrong order being delivered was meet with rude manners, no customer service. had heard some really good things about this place. either the people of galashiels like bland food and bad service wont be back.

The best Chinese takeaway in Galashiels. Eat from here once a week. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Absolutely devine

Bit hard to find as it's off the main road, but it's well worth the effort as the food is very good. We have had several takeaways from here and have yet to be dissapointed. As has been mentioned the portions are huge and you will be doing well to finish it in one sitting. I have not used the home delivery service so can't comment on that. Price wise it's really good value for money in my opinion.I have no hesitation in recommending this takeaway.

Eat here on a weekly basis. Of dozens of takeaway places I've visited, this place ranks top for food quality and portion size. Prices are competitive, the place is clean and service good. Highly recommend the duck.

Way too much food!, you could Feed a small army with the portion sizes! Very nice food and the prices are fair! Delivery can be slow but I guess they can all be when they are busy
