The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Lowlands

Great takeaway, really nice tasty food, good sized portions and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend. Menu has loads of choice.

Amazing Chinese First time ordering with them , my wife and I think it’s the best in the area. The BBQ spare ribs simply brilliant. The crispy shredded chicken in sweet chilli sauce, awesome the salt chilli chips was great and the chicken chow mein equally as good.  Every thing we've tried has been excellent.

We paid £50 for two main dishes and one alcoholic beverage and one tea. The main courses were perhaps reasonably priced if they had included rice. I think that the rice was my biggest annoyance. This restaurant charges £4.80 for a tiny bowl of boiled rice. I had a pot of tea and a chicken curry. My husband had a beef dish and added a side of mushrooms and one beer. Perhaps the cost of living is biting but I felt that £50 was excessive. When I complained about my dish being excessively oily it was taken back to have the oil better mixed in with the food. But even the gravy on John’s mushrooms was oily. Not greatly recommended.

I have dined at this Restaurant several times, both food and service is of a consistently high standard. I would recommend without hesitation. Eddie Reid

Had a quick take away from here after work. The curry sauce was delicious The beef chow mein was delightful Salt and pepper chips could do with more onions and peppers but not complaining they were nice

Had a lovely meal ,starters and main course were perfect and staff were all over service , very good all round , should be as busy as take away

I ordered a takeaway last night the 7th of December 2024 from the Pearl Palace. I was looking forward to the curried beef, fried rice, and Chicken balls done in batter. I so wished i had gone somewhere else. The meat was hard and chewy and the only vegetable in the container was onion, lots of it. The curry had no tase whatsoever and the Chicken balls were doughy batter. The whole lot was thrown in the bin as it was truly awful. I would never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was just terrible.

Got a takeaway. Very good. Lovely king prawns. Delivered on requested time to the caravan park on the outskirts of town.

Really nice lady served us . Food was great.

Bland chicken fried rice and ribs lacking in meat and not much flavour either, nothing unique about the curry bog standard chinese curry, chips were good as far as chips go wouldnt recommend far better options in the town.

Got an order today picked it up from shop, boys serving were very polite. Takeaway 5 mins from home took out food and it was cold chips were the only thing to have a little warmth but that lasted all of 2mins very disappointed glad I only tried a small order as I would usually order big.

Ordered a plain chow mein, came with small pieces of chicken in - like it had been badly picked out of the dish. Called up to confirm because of allergies, they tried to gaslight me over the phone saying it was "mushroom". Why would mushroom be in plain chow mein anyway... That's still cross contamination and an allergen risk. Besides the point, it definitely was not mushroom, it was chicken.
