Always pleasant and friendly staff. Food is excellent. Menu extensive. Repeat customer both takeaway and sit in.

Honestly, don’t bother. Waste of £60 for them to miss something off and have to drive all the way back. Chicken is really bad, rubbery. Salt and pepper is just 99% garlic, everything else was flavourless and poor quality. Best advice, look somewhere else

Appeared to be a very quiet Saturday evening, but took 20 minutes to get our drinks order taken, then another 10 minutes to get served, However staff were very pleasant. Chicken had been cooked from frozen (batter doughy inside) no flavour and the Prawn Toast, was over cooked and leathery. Chinese style duck, Duck itself was nice, but served with a large portion of bland bean spouts with gravy, no Chinese vegetables or spicing (unsure how duck covered in gravy constitutes “Chinese Style”). To add insult to injury it was CASH ONLY PAYMENTS. Won’t go there again.

Yum! Fabulous dishes from this Chinese. Beef curry and deep fried honey chilli chicken delicious and reasonably priced as well. Very quick service.

I used to get from here all the time now use mystic garden. Everything is hot I don't like spicy food I got Kung po chicken it was red not orange made my nose run. I can only get plain stuff like fried rice when socializing with friends.

Staff and service were very good, I felt that my meal was slightly underseasoned but that's probably my taste

Went in here and placed my order, stood for 25 mins waiting on my meal arriving only to be told " it will be another 40 mins yet" . Exactly the same thing happened 8 years ago the last time I used this place , so I will definitely NOT be back worst customer service ever!!

Polystyrene boxes (health and safety). NO GLOVES used in the kitchen or anything. Only long hair held back with a hat. Food sometimes really cold. Staff very cheeky.

The place was extremely clean, mid week it was fairly quiet just two other parties. Both starters were excellent so we were a little disappointed with the mains which were well presented but a little bland. However the server was excellent, unobtrusive but anticipated our needs. This was a nice break on our long journey home... We will be back... As the saying goes 🤔

As Chinese take away go it's good but way over priced. The same would cost £20 in other restaurants, but this was £30. The sweet and sour sauce is like a tiny wee tub and even if you do spend £30 you don't even get prawn crackers like most places. Food was quite good and on par with other take aways so the price was a bit steep.

this is our usual go to take away but this time the food was freezing when it got to us and the chicken was tough and chewy. looked as though it has been re heat a couple times too. disappointed to pay what we did for the food to come in that state.

Need to put heating on but apart from that really decent.

Returning from a football match, this was or stop for our evening meal. Stopping in the town on a Sunday night we started at a hotel which said that food was not available after 6pm. This was the same along the walk through the town. Asking where would be open was told the Lucky date, calling in we got a table. Staff was very friendly and chatty. The food was tasty also. Served very quickly and was hot. All four enjoyed the meal.

The food is nice, but the prices are a little expensive. The portions were good and the food was fresh. I would recommend a visit.

First time back whilst visiting friends. Has been redecorated which makes it feel much brighter and welcoming. Food was nice, I enjoyed mine. Wife has the peking chicken which she normally raves about and can't wait to go home to get one, she said wasn't a good as usual. Pleasant evening had though and staff friendly.

After being told 1.5 hour for delivery it has been almost 3 hours. Would second thought getting another or do collection.

The food is amazing, the take out trays and packed full, so much flavour. Good prices and a wide variety of food selections. You can also ask about any allergies thay have a list. It's beautiful inside, however I've only had take away.

As it was our wife’s birthdays we decided to book a table for 4, we arrive on time welcomed in by Jason, lovely table , pleasant settings, has been redecorated since my last visit, it was reasonably quite as it was mid week, great menus, excellent food and service, all Covid measures were in place, a very pleasant night with friends. We will be back.

Worst takeaway service ever, food Stone cold, sauces so cold they were congealed. Definitely won't be using again. Far too long to wait for such poor food. I wouldn't give a star if I had a zero star option.

Ordered a Chinese takeaway tonight, we got the honey chilli chicken, salt and pepper chicken & sides. Only thing i can say is they don’t take the SALT and pepper chicken lightly. It was so overpowering and had obviously been used excessively I couldn’t even taste pepper. A let down on this dish. Also must note the lukewarm food and lengthy delivery times.

Brilliant chicken curry and fried rice. Not had a curry for ages so it tasted so much better

Very disappointed. The special fried rice came in a polystyrene box which isn't good we stopped serving hot drinks in polystyrene cups for health reasons, it was cold, there was quite a few odd tasting mouthfuls which was spat out and the rice was very dry as if it had been sat for hours, very little flavour and hardly any prawns or meat

Think that was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had

Ribs were strange tasting and the large ones were undercooked (red/pink) in centre. All of our dishes were pretty poor to be honest. Pork was lacking in taste. They didn’t listen to our order, said no veg but came with veg. Only mushrooms in curry but it came packed full of onions. Won’t be back for a while

Well, 2nd Chinese takeaway of the holiday and hoping for more taste than the 1st. Soup was nice as were the salt and pepper ribs and chicken. A bit stingy with the chicken skewers with peanut sauce (and there could have been a few more ribs). The main was OK but as for our first takeaway was a bit lacking in flavour - it was a Thai chicken thing, isn't Thai supposed to be a bit hot? The guy on the front desk was a bit too abrupt for my liking too. Coming to the conclusion that we are really spoiled in the Lothian region with our takeaways. Flavour wise and portion sizes they win both times.

Excellent food and quality service, well worth a visit.

Went on a Sunday where there is a special on. Three courses for £12.90. The quality of the food was good as was the service. Only had Carling on draft which is a pity as its an awful beer in my opinion.

Brilliant service considering we arrived after 10pm. Quick with providing menus, quick with taking drinks order, allowed enough time to peruse the very extensive menu. My order was Lemon chicken with sweet and sour sauce, and house special chow mein. Large portion size, ate the lot. My wife's order was orange chicken, and vegetable rice. Again large portion size, kept some for breakfast. All staff were friendly and conversational, prices were good, decor was good. We tipped well, and we will be back!!

We were new to annan and decided to have a night out and saw the lucky date and it certainly was not a disappointment.

Never eaten in as we live so close by that we usually just get a takeaway. The food is always good quality in generous portions and the service very polite. I would recommend 😀

Very slow service. People came in ordered after me. Got there stuff and left. Waited almost three quarters of an hour for order. Staff also not happy at there work. Everything seemed to be problem.

I collected a takeaway that my wife phoned in when travelling home to Dumfries and after waiting 20 minutes longer that they said it would be, I arrived home to find some food missing. I phoned them back to say some of the food was missing and the person I spoke to, I believe he is called Simon said we didn't order it as he never wrote it down. I told him we definitely ordered it and he said my wife did not order it and started shouting down the phone that he only charged me for what we got so why was I complaining. Well I will tell you why because this is twice now you have missed food in my order and the last time you charged me for it but still forgot it. He wanted me to travel back from Dumfries to Annan to collect it and even after admitting it was his fault he would not deliver it. I told him that was not my point, it was the fact he missed out some of our food. Then his excuse was I couldn't hear her order because the kitchen is busy. If that's the case then ask the customer instead if guessing. He then said he didn't know why I was complaining because he didn't charge me for the food that was missing. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! I asked what he was going to do to get the food to us. He said and I quote "I can't do nothing and don't care" AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Only gets 1 star because 0 stars isn't possible

Had the set menu really nice and the price very reasonable, so thats a meal in and a takeaway had for here will return, staff friendly and smiling which goes down well keep it up.

We popped in on a Friday night and the place was very busy which is always a good sign. Service was fast and the staff very friendly.I had a Kung Po Combination with chips and Tricia had a Bang Bang King Prawn with rice. To be honest mine was good but not brilliant, I have gotten a taste for Kung Po over the last couple of years so reckon I'm a pretty good judge of them . However Tricias Bang Bang Prawn was excellent and she really enjoyed it.So to sum up, good food, and very good prices, very good staff and service, I will return and try again.Be advised though it is a cash only restaurant.

Shocking service.for home delivery anyway.very rude and abrupt on the phone.they ended up asking us to go and collect it.after waiting nearly 2 hrs to deliver it.end result is we didnt get our food and wont be using them again

they phone the wrong number for deliveries and then refuse to deliver because they phoned a wrong number! absolutely terrible. wont be using again. waited nearly 2hrs for a delivery that wasnt coming. absolutely shocking!!!!!
