an hour ago I spent £55 on my order, when I received the order there was a chow mein missing(i ordered 2)so I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady I spoke to over the phone said she will speak to the delivery driver and call me back.I received no call back instead 15 minutes later I had the delivery driver and one of the owners(i assumed)knock at my door asking me why I called and said I only received one bag of food instead of two and he said it very rudely.First I didn't understand why the driver and owner needed to come together and secondly I don't know why I was being accused of something I never said. The driver said they will go back to the restaurant and bring the chow mein that was missing.I waited nearly an hour and nothing was brought so I called the restaurant for the same lady I originally spoke to to tell me "I know for certain I put your chow mein in there, why am I accusing her of not putting two in there and she will check the cctv".I just could not believe after spending £55 and the fact I've been ordering from them for nearly 5 plus years to treat me like that for a chow mein.very disgusting and unacceptable.I told her to check the cctv but I still will never order from them again.VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE,I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Please read the other reviews and dont waste your money and time with this place. Food is the worst I ever eaten from a Chinese takeaway. Every thing was over cooked and nothing close in similarities compared to other places, have been eating Chinese food for over 20 years. Just so disappointed.

This is the first time ordering from this restaurant. I made an order for a takeaway online. They had an offer, £10.99 for curry, rice and bhajis buy one get one free! I ordered my husband’s chicken tikka masala but realised they had no vegetarian option for myself. I opted for chicken korma and in the notes explained I was veggie and could they swap out the chicken for paneer ( I checked that they had this on the menu first and only assumed it would be ok as it would actually be cheaper for them than meat). I submitted the order, waited 20 mins and they called to say it had to be chicken, they couldn’t swap it for paneer. I was completely astonished! I asked what option was there for a vegetarian, they said I could order the paneer curry separately but couldn’t use the offer. So vegetarians aren’t catered for on the offer! Safe to say, we will never return! Why would a vegetarian not be able to enjoy the same offer as a meat eater, clearly haven’t considered everyone’s dietary requirements. Poor business accumen!

Have been a regular at this take away for a few years. But will be looking for another local Chinese after the food we had last night. Order was, Salt and chilli spareribs. What we received were a couple of normal size spareribs chopped up into small pieces with very little meat or taste. Chicken chow mien. The chow mien was the worst I have had. Processed chicken in uniform strips. Tasteless noodles and no bean sprouts. King prawn chow Mien. Again tasteless frozen prawns. Tasteless noodles and no bean sprouts. They will know who we are from the order. The food was shocking. On that bases we are out and will not be ordering again. The people that we have recommended over the years will be recommended to do the same. A Friday night treat is getting more and more expensive. So will find a place that does not rip you off by serving up very poor quality food.

My usual Chinese spot! However, I was disappointed in the quality of my last order. The boxes were caked in grease, the sweet and sour Hong Kong style sauce had jellied, the prawn spring rolls were soggy and lacked flavour. The lack of sweet and sour sauce portion size was ridiculous. I’m hoping this was just an anomaly

First time ordering and won’t be back. Sloppy portions. I ordered rice and ended up with half a portion in the plastic tray. Prawns which weren’t exactly cheap arrived cold. I feel that if you order through just eat… it isn’t as carefully prepared as it would be ordering by phone. It’s a no from me.

Don’t go if you fancy some nice fresh ‘chippy chips’ Went in, no muffins, ok, not a major catastrophe. Just ordered chips. 2 seconds later out from the back with a bag of chips in a plastic bag. No ‘salt and vinegar?’ Asked. Just handed over. Clearly been bagged up a while. Asked for S&V and put on my own. Got to car and tasted one! Most definitely oven chips 🙈………hard and dry! Oh well, lesson learned

I recently ordered shredded chicken from this takeaway, expecting a delicious, traditional dish. Unfortunately, what arrived was quite disappointing. The “shredded” chicken was anything but—each piece was massive and far from what I had anticipated. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating, as I specifically ordered shredded chicken expecting the fine texture typical of this dish. The food arrived in under 30 minutes, which, while quick, made it evident that quality wasn’t the priority. Rather than feeling like a meal made with care, it seemed hastily thrown together to meet a delivery window. Additionally, the chips were not the traditional chippy-style you’d expect from a Chinese takeaway. They lacked that familiar taste and texture, adding to the overall letdown of the meal. Considering the poor quality and lack of authenticity, I don’t plan on ordering from here again.
