The food was hot but bland. There was so much filler I forgot what the dish was supposed to have as a main incredient. I got bored. The location and shop frontage was appaulling. There were openly wino's walking the street sharing a bottle, parking was non existent and so tight I was terrified the car was going to get hit. The food and location makes this a huge disappointing miss for me.

Ordered on just eat, order was confirmed, money left my bank and our food never tuned up. The restaurant has taken their phone off the hook.

Always thoroughly enjoy the food from here... always the correct order and the food is always warm and tasty... would definitely recommend the special fried rice and the curry isn’t bad either:) well worth the money for a decent Chinese

Absolutely disgusting food , firstly all the food was cold , The dishes were very watery and tasteless , when rang to complain The young cocky girl on the end of the line refuse to do anything about it as there was no manager available and called us liars for saying the food was cold as she packed it herself!!! Will never use again 🤮

We have been ordering from here for years and it has slowly but surely been going down hill. Tonight after waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes after being told it was 45 minute delivery I had something missing from my order and a wrong dish. I rang to tell them this, I got no apology just a rude woman who put the phone down. Do not order from here!!!

Ordered from here last night at 6.50pm,at 8.30pm still hadn't arrived.Phoned them up to be told the driver was on his way and would be 15mins not sure why that long as only live 8mins away by car.9pm and still no food phoned to cancel the order,they checked if it hadn't yet and said ok no problem.How it takes that long to cook a chicken curry,beef curry,chicken balls,chips and a portion of egg fried rice is beyond me.Food is apparently nice but I'd never order a takeaway again from this place

I have ordered a take away via the "Just Eat" app, firstly the prices are very expensive compared to other take aways in the area and unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. I will not be ordering from here again 😔

We've been ordering from taste of China for two years now tried several nearby as it's a little out the way but always go back to this one.Granted I always have the same dish,deep fried shredded beef which is delicious but my hubby orders different dishes and has thoroughly enjoyed them all,our particular favourites are the amazing combination spare ribs!

Just when I was about to give up on Chinese takeaways in Doncaster I tried my luck with Taste of China and never looked back! The fried chicken in chilli garlic sauce is to die for. So many Chinese places just serve up a glupey sauce with rubbery meat, this place does it properly. The rice is well cooked and the BBQ spare ribs are great. Superb.

The food is delicious, but every dish seems to be padded out with loads of onions. The crispy shredded beef we had tonight was 50% onions in the container, which isn't very good value considering the price of it. We had sweet and sour chicken which had far too many onions in it as well.

The food was delicious - hot & really tasty. I had king prawns & they were fat & juicy. Not the usual slimy takeaway offering! The salt & pepper chips were also delicious. Food til an hour & a half to come although it was a Friday night. Will definitely order again.

Food is disgusting, can't even get your order correct although your actually paying for the food that you don't get, horrific service when asked where the food was that was missing for the order. Won't be ordering from here ever again, save your selves the waste of your money! They never get an order CORRECT!!!!

Chow main a bit dry. Shredded beef a bit chewy and nor as crispy as usual. No fortune cookie which the kids really look forward to.

This used to be great but I feel they have been cutting back on what they put in to the food, it still taste great but we don't order from here half as much as we used to

appalling. after our order was canceled at our first pick, we sent with these guys, we have used them before but noted the quality was going down. an hour and a half after the order hadnt shown up, when i spoke to the girl she left me on hold for over 5 minutes. i rang back then she claimed they couldnt find my address, when i confirmed it she then told me it hadnt even been cooked! what was the guy trying to deliver not to find my address if nothing was even cooked, in the end it took over 2 hours to get here and it was bad, the duck fat wasnt even rendered down and it has clearly been microwaved. no apology, no nothing. such bad service, if i could give zeros i would.

We ordered food at 7.38pm with an estimated time of 8.45pm which although an hour we thought ok, when 8.45pm came and went we rang to find out where pur food was to be told it was only just being cooked! Food finally arrived at 9.10pm food was good but too long of a wait

The chicken was rubbery, too many onions and peppers in it. Barely any chicken in it and didn't really taste that nice

Small portions 35 minutes late over cooked rice

I ordered chips and curry which I could eat but the beef and mushrooms and spare ribs in sauce I couldn't eat as was far too salty ... Very disappointed

Best Chinese food in Doncaster. Asked for a 10pm delivery but driver was knocking on my door at 9:30 and I was balls deep in the Mrs so had to finish quick so my food didn't go cold. My favourite Chinese restaurant

Order over an hour and a half ago, after a phone call to the take away half hour ago for them to tell me it's on it's way already it still has not arrived.. And walking distance is only ten minutes at most.. Utterly disappointed YET AGAIN! The food is usually good but it's either going to be cold or reheated I'm sure by the time it's eventually turns up

Absolutely appalling customer service. We ordered a takeaway from here but weren't sure if it had gone through so we rang them and they told us that it was on its way. 40 minutes later, I rang to check again and this time they said no order had been placed and no food was on its way. The first time we rang they obviously hadn't checked and had just told us anything to get us off the line. There was no apology from staff and her manner was rude. All in all, waited for two hours for a takeaway that was never going to come.
