Yummy in Wolverhampton

We ordered takeaway food as our usual restaurant was closed. Absolutely loved our food! I never expect much when I have a takeaway meal but this was the best takeout we have had in a very long time. Special house curry was full of meat, huge prawns and mushrooms. Not water just a proper spicy sauce with substance. Fantastic! Excellent spring rolls. Chips a little floppy. However, the important part, the curry was excellent! We also enjoyed the mixed sweet and sour balls, pork, chicken and huge prawns. Brilliant!

My order of Crispy Shredded chicken in sweet chilli sauce was messed up through Just Eat web page but they were happy to correct this when I collected. The food is always hot, full of flavour and ready on time. I will always order again

First try at this place. Arrived nice and hot. Chow mein was tasty, curry sauce good but a little too thick.

The Yummy has been my local Chinese takeaway for the last 20 years. It was always my favourite choice of takeaway, but recently, over the last two years or so, there has been a decline in the quality of the food. While the portion sizes are still perfect, I feel like the food now tastes reheated and the curry tastes like a powered mix you can buy out of the Nisa. Such a shame as it has always been my go to Chinese, but I think it will be a long time before I decide to try food from here again.

The spare ribs where dry the sweet and sour source was not on the food it was all over the bag and the food was disgusting So called and they sent us more sweet and sour sauce which arrived half an hour after food arrived and gave us stale fortune cookies Comepletely disappointed Never ordinging from here again

First time I have ordered from this restaurant and it hasn't disappointed. Food arrived 20 mins early and piping hot. We're a little boring when it comes to a chinese and either have a chow mein or curry. We both opted for a beef curry with egg fried rice. The curry was lovely, just a gentle hit of spice which is just what you want in a chinese curry. It included mushrooms which was a nice surprise as mushroom lovers. There were parts of the beef that were a little thick so hence the slightly lower food quality score. Thinner sliced beef would certainly improve the curry. The star of the show was the egg fried rice. On a serious note it was the best egg fried rice we have ever eaten. Obviously cooked fresh and some much flavour. Will definitely order again!

Had a fairly large family get-together so we all decided we would have a Chinese,so any 4 dish deal for£15.+, Everyone commented on how tasty the meals were,we had visiters from Thailand who thought meals were fantastic,well done chef

Disgusting delivery service delivery tried to walk into my house he delivered someone elses order along with mine no manners what so ever rang to speak with manager to be told ring back in an hour she is asleep wont be using again

Never received food. Waited an hour & half when I rang was told that delivery driver had been knocking my front door & was no answer at 12:30 (I'd litterally just ordered food at this time so impossible he was bringing it to me at the time I was ordering!) also it's impossible for him to knock my front door as I live in a flat & I have a buzzer!the woman then told me they wouldn't be delivering my order.No apology or anything absaloute rubbish!

The food is always brilliant from here delicious and hot, always arrives early. However the last 2 times I've ordered vegetarian spring rolls from there for my flat mate who is vegetarian, they've had what appear to be meaty chunks in them. Will call to specify vegetarian next time. Overall though one of the best Chinese places to order from.

Worst chinese ever, arrived despite being cancelled. My friend went to the door and despite telling them we didnt want the food they booted the door saying we had to take it as they'd cooked it and attempted delivery. Avoid by all means

This is the only Chinese takeaway we order from. We don't have takeaway often but we've had really bad ones. Yummy is the best. Food is always hot, fresh, tasty and arrives on time.

Once upon a time i have decided to order some nice hot food. Now i am eating nervously cold vermicelli because delivery driver ruined my fairytale. He couldn't find my address for over half an hour. Telling me that he is by my house where i was standing outside for all this time. When he finally found me, i hope he apologized not cursed me behind my back :( The end. P.S. good job i have got a microwave ;)

My omelette was delicious but 3 lots of chips with our meals were awful and soggy. My partners rice and curry sauce was okay but the chips put him off too. Quick delivery though.

Food was nice. However having ordered the food at 7pm we were told it would be approx 45 mins. on calling the restaurant it appeared they had forgot our order. My reduced service score is purely based on the order was then made immediately. A apology would have gone down great but instead no apology and extra spring rolls as compensation.

We won't be ordering again. 2 hours from time of order to delivery, 1 hour late. Phoned to chase and met with abrupt unapologetic response then still a further 10 minutes late on top of an extra 15 minute delay. Delivery driver blunt and still no apology. This is the second time this has happened so no more chances. Shame as the food is lovely, compliments to the chef.
