Spring Way in Lambeth

i have been there twice for the shrimp tempura, i thought it was a bit pricey at 3 tempuras for 4.50(they are really large though) but the taste made it worth it. beautifully fried and crispy, and alot of shrimp inside with a tasty sweet chilli sauce. worth every penny

Terrible. Zero stars!! We ordered at 9.13 delivery said to be 9.55 its now 11.05pm still no delivery and still waiting. Told to reorder! Service is crap and no refund offered, all we were told was you can cancel. After waiting 2 hours!!!! Terrible company appauling service. Don't order. NEVER!!!

Personalmente, recomendaría las costillas de cerdo, pero puede tener muy poca carne con el hueso. Además del crujiente y aromático pato, también es un buen iniciador que es sabroso y ¡hay suficiente carne en los huesos! El menú fijo debe ofrecer tres opciones diferentes, lamentablemente no se complementan demasiado bien, pero por separado, son sabrosas.

Food was delivered with a smile, but that was the end of anything good. First the chicken curry. One mouthful was enough for me to bin it, gloopy sauce, horrible texture chicken. Next I tried the sweet & sour chicken balls. They were very big because of the thick spongy batter. Inside was a spongy substance that was chicken colour, but not sure what it was! Whatever it was it was cooked to death! They went in the bin too. Lastly the banana fritters, enormous spongy things drowned in sauce. Yep, in the bin with them. A compleat waste of money.

Disappointed with the Thai red curry. Chicken was really dry and sauce was far too thick. Unfortunately, I won't order from her again. Cheap though.

Terrible food, the house rice had sour taste like it was gone off. Pancake rolls tasted of nothing but grease, won ton soup was like dishwater. Not good

Not impressed with any of it, Kung po chicken was more like sweet and sour, and the wings and prawns were too dry. Chips were soggy, but thanks for the prawn crackers.

The food as usual was very good, all very fresh, hot and tasty. I was aware of the 60-75 min delivery time before ordering, it was just a lot longer wait than usual.

Estoy tan molesto por comer mala comida. No hay nada mejor que tu propia cocina casera. Creo que comer esta comida para llevar realmente pone las cosas en perspectiva para mí. ¡Ya no comeré comida para llevar! ! La comida era realmente horrible. Probablemente sea uno de los peores chinos que he tenido. Pasé por las revisiones de oro, que ahora pienso que son falsas. Nunca volveré a ordenar de este lugar. Un desperdicio de mi buen dinero:

Very fast service but poor - average food. I got the duck and pork on rice and the meat was tough and old. Sauce was nice. The ma po tofu was ok. The Won ton soup was also ok. Overall, average at best I’m afraid.

I hate writing negative reviews but unfortunately nothing I had ordered was any good... The egg fried rice was burnt, the sweet and sour chicken balls were also burnt, with the chicken being an indescribable texture within. I had to throw the whole lot away and within minutes my body had reacted negatively to the few mouthfuls I had eaten.

Great price and food okay. Kung po chicken wasn’t good but everything else was about 6.5/10 - very large portions. Would maybe try this place again but order differently.

the food was a bit burned. especially chips and chicken balls. the curry sauces was leaking in the bag and I burnt my finger. noodles were ok as I said little on the brown side.

After waiting an hour and twenty five minutes from a take away that’s on the same road as me, I received food that was sent back by an unsatisfied customer, two days ago. At least, that’s what it tasted like. Absolutely disgusting old over cooked food!!

I've been ordering here for years. The food used be excellent whatever you ordered. I think they changed chef few years back. Now it's not as amazing as it was but still good. I tried different Chinese food places, but still coming back to this one. Staff is also nice if you call them or drop by. I can't eat onions, and they have no problem, and kindly exclude it from dishes where possible. What other places had problem to do. So I'd say, definitely try this place. I'll continue to order from here.

we ordered a couple of times from here now and this time was the best food quality we received yet! truly impressed. the shredded duck for the pancakes was super tender and crispy and all other items ordered were delicious. They also included a generous amount of prawn crisps and a free Pepsi!

Tom yum was good but not actually sure it was a Tom Yum. Prawns were very small. Thai green curry was one of the worst I've ever had. Sauce was bland and chicken was rubbery and cubed.

Quality of food is better than other Chinese takeaways, I'd eat from there again but not get it delivered but instead go in and get it myself. Smoked shredded chicken was cold.

After eating at Spring Way last night I have spent the following 24 hours with an incredibly poorly stomach. I only ate half of the food that arrived due to the poor quality, look and taste of it and the other half went in the bin. I’m glad I threw it away as I would hate to think how poorly I would feel if I had eaten all of it. I would avoid this takeaway if you value your intestines.
