The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Just been this afternoon for the first time ever to a tattu restaurant. Had heard really good things and was really looking forward to a much needed day date with my husband whilst our daughter was at nursery! We were greeted and showed to a table by a very friendly lady. Then we were looked after by Vahbiz who was very attentive throughout our visit. We opted for the taster menu with a few extras. It is on the pricey side but I already knew this before dining and do think the food, setting and service meet this! Can’t wait to return when we are in the area again, thanks for making our first visit so memorable.

We had a lovely meal, very friendly service from Manis . Prompt service but not at all rushed. We definitely be returning.

Fantastic meal tonight, great staff and service

Went here with the family after hearing so many people rave about it so much. Being honest, food was ok but nothing as good as Y’thai in stokesley or panda, or even chilli padi in Newcastle (and they are all cheaper to eat at than here- definitely try these places and make your own comparison). Staff were lovely though! Lady who served us was helpful and very sweet.

Food was aweful. Buffet was all over cooked and had been sitting arpund for ages. 1st time we came during the week food was ok and turn around was good. 2nd time at the weekend, hardly anyone in and food was cheap shop bought. All deep fried no taste and curries where watery. Chicken was very poor quality. Did not enjoy the food at all. All you can eat, for a reason. Had better food from a takeaway. For the price you pay per person, we would have got a lot better at a dedicated restuarant. Will not recommend this.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here last week and had a wonderful time! Food as ever was fantastic and service was great. Was also very pleasantly surprised with a birthday treat for dessert!

The food didn’t meet expectations. The salt and pepper chips tasted like they came from the frozen aisle, special fried rice was dry, and the prawn crackers were terrible. The only thing enjoyable were the BBQ pork ribs. What a disappointment, and I won’t be ordering again.

Really over prices for very standard Chinese. Poor portion of bland food for cost.

Very expensive and nothing too special……….staff were all really lovely and welcoming but we did feel rushed. Our soup bowls were being taken away when our friends were still eating. Nothing special unfortunately and we all said we would not rush back.

Been to restaurant a few times now and on all occasions Been excellent, excellent service, excellent food, will be back again

Says 9:30pm. Walked in with other patrons at 8:15pm and told kitchen was already closed!

Recently moved to the area and this place had good reviews I can't fault the food other than very small portion of steak for main course, had the early diner set menu served and treated like a canteen, I guess they give better attention to higher price menu customers later in the evening. Nothing inspired us to return

Fantastic food at a reasonable price

Got myself and our team the lunch time specials. Couldn't believe how great the portions are then the quality was next level. Highly recommend.
