Had an amazing night at Tattu on Sunday and honestly, Joey behind the bar, made the whole experience top tier. Joey is an absolute legend. Super friendly, knows his stuff, and makes the best cocktails. You can tell he actually cares about what he’s doing and he was chatting with everyone, making custom drink suggestions, and just keeping the good vibes going all night. Easily one of the best bartenders I’ve come across. What stood out most was how he treated everyone—whether you were ordering water or a fancy cocktail, he gave the same energy. Super attentive!! What a nice guy, and The doorman was also friendly and sweet too! ( I believe his name is kevin ) Thanks for the wonderful evening!

Went for the set meal. Excellent value. From the start, the welcome at reception to the quality of service and the exceptional food, i really enjoyed this and was made to feel welcome by the exceptionally polite staff at reception to an excellent waitress and the staff who bought our food. I would highly recommend this gem of a place in Birmingham. It does my home city proud. The set menu for 3 courses on saturday was 34.50 i believe and the food is well thought out. I d happily go again. There is also a bar upstairs which is great for a few drinks.

Was wearing 500£ worth of clothes and a nyk cap and got told to get out 🤣🤣🤣 as "they have a formal outfit policy". I never experienced that in my life!! and we've been around (nationally and internationally). Well... Your loss TATTU. oh and by the way next week I'm on a flight to Miami where the same white outfit will be accepted in any establishment. What a joke you guys are 🤣🤣🤣

This was my 2nd time visiting Tattu’s. The food used to be much better and flavourful, both my wife and I were disappointed this time around. Not worth it for the price point.

The best birthday treat in Birmingham. Exquisite tempura and black cod and the best of all our server Mo who helped curate the perfect menu and looked after us beautifully. The nicest soul 💖

Worth the hype. Good atmosphere, tasty food. Our waiter Mo was an absolute gem. A bit of waiting at the beginning which was frustrating as we were very hungry but generally a fabulous experience!

Really friendly staff, food very good and very reasonably priced. Cocktails are pricey though, some have a bit of theatre to them but they're still expensive. £14-17 for a small drink. £35-50 for a sharing cocktail in a special dispenser. Well worth a visit.

attended on 24/04, for a date with my partner. we had an incredible evening, food and atmosphere were second to none, honestly one of the most beautiful restaurants i’ve ever seen. we both felt very welcome, and service from daniel was brilliant, who helped us navigate the menu and was very knowledgeable. thank you tattu. a perfect date. we will certainly be back.

Joshua (T) was amazing!! Me and my partner came here for dinner and he made our experience absolutely perfect. Such a genuine character and couldn’t do enough for us. Very nicely decorated and the music was at a level that didn't cause people to shout so you could hold a nice conversation at the table. Had the Sunday roast which was very filling and a nice take on a traditional roast but felt the beans were too cold on serving. Beware that the water for the table is £6 per bottle after the 12.5% service charge and I hadn't had a chance to even open the menu before being asked this so was unaware of the high price especially as most places now have complimentary filtered water for the table. This left me feeling negative about the meal

Simply exceptional. Food was excellent and the service was second to none. I would highly recommend the Chinese green beans with soy and garlic as a side. And a special thank you to Adriana who was my server for the evening. An optional 12.5% service charge was added to the bill, which I did not ask to be removed, as I would have given an equivalent tip anyway.

High end establishment, warm welcome and very attentive staff. Food and service first class. 2 observations worth mentioning. 1. Faint drainage smell as you walk to tables which I noticed on a couple of occasions. Fortunately not in the dining area. I suspect they are aware of this as there was incense stick at entrance .2. Wasn't expecting the bill to be cheap as fine dining but was surprised to see a charge for both nibbles and water which were provided without our prompting. Otherwise great and would recommend.

It was so dark I could barely see my food, my poor wife fell over when trying to sit down. It was SUPER overpriced and all the food was really dry and flavourless. I would stay away from this place my wife now has a fractured ankle from our experience. BE WARNED. (Staff were friendly and did help me and my wife with everything).

Asked us if we would like prawn crackers when we sat down and we said yes, they charged us for it when we weren’t told anything, an insane amount of money for stale prawn crackers, absolute scam, and then so much hidden fees and service charges, we thought we’re going to pay 70£ ended up being 140£… the food is okay at best, staff were very nice, tho they do trick you into spending money which I hated. I don’t recommend the place specially after I met spoken to someone and we were sharing worst restaurant experience and we both named this place.

The service is very good-friendly and incredibly attentive. You really feel like you are a VIP. Delicious and inventive cocktails. The food was very tasty. On the downside it was completely cold. And the plates were cold. Hence 3 stars. It's definitely a destination restaurant. Lots of birthdays being celebrated and the firework with a fortune cookie is a nice touch. Overall, I had a good night out. If you are older- and my husband and I are definitely the wrong side of middle aged- the very loud music is intrusive when you are eating a m eal. Fine in the bar, but not in the main restaurant. The cold food is definitely a minus mark. It's also a very pricey place to eat. Very few wine bottles on the tables which suggests the other guests concur. But it's fun, friendly and the portions are generous.

The experience here was severely below expectations. We were seated in a small, dark space away from all of the decorations that entice you to book, which would have been fine if the food was good - it was absolutely awful. It’s clear that this place favours Instagram aesthetics more than the actual flavours of their food. We couldn’t finish what we had ordered. I booked this place to celebrate a birthday for a friend who lives out of country and was left incredibly embarrassed in front of her. All of that money spent for such a disappointment. Do NOT recommend - don’t waste your money.

I went this restaurant on my birthday. The food was fantastic, but what really stood out was the amazing service. Our server Adriana was so kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our meal. It’s always a bonus when the service is as good as the food! Thank you Adriana!!!

Came in for drinks and pictures, Chemal was fantastic especially since we didn’t order any food, let’s us roam and enjoy the beautiful resturant, honestly super friendly great customer service and Chemal was amazing❤️ will definitely come back for a sit down and a meal!!!

We had a fantastic experience here at the weekend. The service is fantastic, our server Maria was really attentive and had some excellent recommendations for us. The food is top quality and the venue itself is high end but with a really chilled vibe. We cant wait to return!!

Beautiful place to go and eat. Adriana who served us so very welcoming and made some great recommendations. Food was delicious, lots to choose from and flavours were incredible. Paired with a couple of bottle of Albarino, what a wonderful lunch! Not cheap but not silly money, a great place for something a little bit different. Will definitely return

We had a fabulous night celebrating our 10 Ur anniversary! The food, drinks and service is beyond excellent. One of the nicest meals we've had in a long time. Can highly recommend the set menu at £94 pp. It is expensive but what you bet for it is so worth it. We were absolutely stuffed half way through. They give you a take away food bag though so nothing was wasted! Exceptional food, devine cocktails and excellent service from our lovely server Maria who really knew her stuff and was so friendly and welcoming ! See you again soon!

Came here for my birthday meal and I’d like to express how special it was. As soon as me and my boyfriend walked in we were greeted with a smile and walked to our table downstairs. We were served by 3 waitresses during our stay, all three were super friendly and so accommodating. Everything was super clean and the atmosphere was lovely, so relaxing and the interior was beautiful! We had the £94 sharer each, everything was cooked to perfection. A big hit was definitely the steak for me! They also did a surprise dessert for me which was so kind. Obviously on the pricier side but I can understand why after how amazing everything was, from food to service we really enjoyed our time here. All I’d say was the mojito didn’t have enough mint but other than that everything was extraordinary. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming again!

I thought the food was mediocre for a la carte dining. We both had baby lemon chicken which was quite bland and the chicken was actually slightly chewy. The dessert was very nice. All very over-priced for nothing amazing. However, the service is excellent and efficient, but you pay a service charge for this. We did get asked 3 times if we had any allergies, and so that was annoying to be asked once by the host and also twice by the waitress. Too much overkill with asking how the food is etc. Atmosphere is fantastic and is all very nice and posh. People seem to mainly go there for a celebration. There is a council multi-storey car park nearby at Snow Hill station, which is cheap.

Just been this afternoon for the first time ever to a tattu restaurant. Had heard really good things and was really looking forward to a much needed day date with my husband whilst our daughter was at nursery! We were greeted and showed to a table by a very friendly lady. Then we were looked after by Vahbiz who was very attentive throughout our visit. We opted for the taster menu with a few extras. It is on the pricey side but I already knew this before dining and do think the food, setting and service meet this! Can’t wait to return when we are in the area again, thanks for making our first visit so memorable.

Me and my friend had the most wonderful lunch. It was my first time at Tattu and it did not disappoint. Can highly Soy steak main and salmon. Our waitress Erica was so attentive in terms of making sure we always had drinks, clearing the table and her food recommendations. I’ve eaten out at a lot of high end food establishments and the service was some of the best I’ve had. I look forward to dining there again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tattu Birmingham and was lucky enough to have Gretel as our server. From start to finish, she provided exceptional. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the evening.

AVOID if you have any food allergen intolerances. Tattu have point blank refused to release information about allergens until we arrive on the day/time of a reservation, at which point it is too late to find an alternative restaurant if the menu is not suitable for someone who is gluten intolerant or other. Nor will they honour removal of cancellation fees because you will be inside the 24 hour notice period.

Most beautiful restaurant I've eaten at so far, the place looks incredible and the atmosphere was perfect. Music fits the restaurant very well. All staff were very professional including the host who was very friendly and let our waitress know about our special occasion without our knowledge which made the meal extra special as our waitress, Gretel, brought out a little dessert with a message on. The food was also one of the best I've eaten in a restaurant, every dish was amazing.
