The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

We went for lunch and it was so quiet we were the only ones there. Staff were friendly. We had the dim sum offer but didn’t think the dim sum was all that great, certainly good enough if your in Camden but you can find much better in China Town.

Loved it here. The food was delicious. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Food is bang average at best been to loads of good Chinese restaurants and this is not one of the better ones very very average and I won’t be rushing back

Wrong order delivered when I phoned back was told they were closing. I asked to get a refund or collect food, was told there was nothing they could do and didn't refund me. Never go there again

It was so good the lady recommended the best flavour strawberry vanilla and blueberry balls would recommend it the lady was patiencet and kind love it so much it was the day before we left back to Ireland would go again defo

Tried to get delivery. It’s been almost 2 hours and still no food. We called them 30 min ago and they said it would be 20 min and that they had “just received” our order. Don’t waste your time.

Ordered our food 7:50pm still no sign of order at 7:40 pm so I rang to be told it would be another 40 mins! That would be nearly 2 hours, i get an hours wait but 2 hours is abit of a joke so In the end we went and collected it, never had a bad Chinese from golden country but this was the worst one, we will not be returning. Personally I don't think its worth even 1 star

Fits that craving if you are feeling lazy. I find the chicken fried rice a little bland but add some soy sauce and sesame oil. Decent chop suey and fresh bean sprouts. Love the projection lighting for the sign on the heritage building. Great idea. You can phone in order and collect and pay in person so no waiting as there's only a few seats. To be fair they can do better with the food. Fall in love with Chinese Cuisine again. 👀 I can see people named dishes negatively and can understand why. Hope reviews will encourage change.

Fuimos a nuestra luna de miel. No es nada bueno. En primer lugar, dos chicos que vinieron después de nosotros fueron servidos primero y en realidad recibieron sus bebidas y comida antes de que nos saludaran y nos preguntaran si queríamos una bebida, para descubrir que no estaban sirviendo alcohol, ya que no tienen una licencia en este momento. Así que tomé una coca que era plana y sabía raro. La comida salió rápido, pero realmente salada y el cerdo agridulce tenía un sabor desagradable, el pato "crujiente" era 80% graso y el calamar sal y pimienta no era comestible. La camarera estaba muy desaliñada con una camiseta sucia y pantalones de chándal. No recomendaría 😕

Karaoke para mis hijas 21 cumpleaños callejero. Reservamos la habitación VIP más grande a 50 libras por hora. El acceso es a través del restaurante y está en el mismo nivel del suelo, así que muy amable para discapacitados. Las bebidas y la comida se pidieron en el bar y se entregaron rápidamente en nuestra habitación. La configuración del karaoke era buena, aunque la lista de canciones necesita actualizarse. La comida y las bebidas eran buenas y a un precio muy razonable. Buena experiencia en general.

Way too expensive. I went with my partner and his daughter for a quick dinner. The food wasn't bad but 80£ was waaaay too much. Average starter is almost 7£ , mains around 17£ . All together was 80£ and we didn't even have alcoholic drinks, a glass of juice and 2 Lemonades.... the place is not fancy , on the contrary I would say, definitely not going back . Shame because the dumplings and spring rolls were very nice.

Me entristece decir que después de muchos años de venir a este restaurante, la comida ha bajado cuesta abajo tanto! .. calidad barata y todo sabía igual. Pedimos fuera del menú del domingo Buffett, sin embargo, eso no debería ser una razón para reducir la calidad. La sopa estaba congelada, que no tenía sabor y la red tenía el mismo sabor, la carne de res era horrible como el pollo. Los entrantes estaban bien, al igual que el arroz y los fideos. I Rang and they said be ready in five mins to collect which should have been a red flag. Bbq spare ribs had no meat and what was there was dry and burnt, beef was chewy and overcooked, salt and pepper chips were tasteless and soggy. The only thing about the meal that was ok was the egg fried rice and chicken curry, really disappointed.

Having not had a Chinese for a long time, we decided on the royal china in newton abbot. Not only was the food hot and tasty. The delivery was very quick, would recommend
