This has been an appalling display of unprofessionalism and abysmal communication. After a week and a half of futile attempts to redeem a Timeout Voucher through four ignored emails, I resorted to calling, only to be told that redemptions were handled exclusively via email and that the manager would call me back. As expected, no call ever came. Finally, I received an email informing me of upcoming renovations and they offered a last-minute booking. After quickly consulting with my group, I was about to respond (1 hour later), only to find that Timeout had been instructed to cancel the voucher. This level of incompetence is staggering. I will never waste my time and effort on a business so clearly uninterested in its patrons. My group of six will never set foot in this establishment.

Great Chinese Good service and fresh food Can't be beaten in camden

Food was a bit too salty but overall ok. Soup dumplings were really small and broke though. The time we came for Kareoke, the food was way better. Service quick and quirky place and you can hear people having fun with Kareoke downstairs

We ordered some dishes which were not good. Too many dishes are too salty. 沙茶牛肉麪is too salty For the 海南雞飯, nice seasoning for the rice, chicken isn't. 紅油炒手 is not spicy which is strange 咖喱牛腩 nice seasoning, but there are still cold inside the beef brisket Curry la sa is not bad, keep on Curry beef brisket, curry lasa and the rice from 海南雞飯 are the reason why I rate 2 star here.

The dishes were average, but with TheFork offering a 50% discount, the value for money is quite good. Worth trying if you're in Camden, but not worth a special trip.

Delicious food - would definitely come again with more friends next time! The prawn dumplings were incredible. Really good value for money, we ordered several dishes (big portions!) and it came to £20 pp! Perfect for any occasion. Service was excellent and it had a lovely atmosphere located just outside Camden market.

We were enjoying the food until we were served a Dim sum dish that was frozen. Hoping the gelatinous rice with chicken and sausage wrapped in leaf doesn’t make us ill! But everything else was nice just wouldn’t risk it again

hired the neon room downstairs for four hours for a party and the food was rly yummy and came out fast and the service was rly friendly and the beer pong was fun! the karaoke room has two tvs and two mics but the system is full of kinda old songs in chinese and english and Japanese and Korean but there is an aux!

What an amazing food experience. Everything very tasty. Staff working there very positive with big smile on the face, very helpful. Definitely with next visit to London I will come back here

The best Asian food I've ever eaten. Apart from that, very nice service and calm atmosphere. Dishes are served quickly and in the right order. Handmade dumplings with whole pieces of shrimp inside. I highly recommend

Food is always delicious and fresh! The staff say that the service will be slow but it ends up being the fastest service ever. Hidden gem. Their crispy beef noodles are INSANELY good. 10/10.

The amount of quality food for the price was so good including a free glass of prosecco and service was great aswell really friendly.

Absolutely atrocious. The only good food were the prawn crackers. The crispy noodles were just packet ramen?! The crispy pork belly was rotten and grey. The sweet and sour chicken came in under 5 minutes ?! and was rubbery. The spring rolls were clearly microwaved. The toilets were dirty. The menus sticky. The floor filthy. The seats broken. Literally the worst meal I have ever eaten. I don’t understand any review above 1 star. I also have no idea why anyone goes there regularly. Are there any good Chinese restaurants in London left??

No joke, the food and the service is making coming back. All staff smiling and giving free chocolates to all guest was so beautiful detail. Im coming back 100% !! Thanks to Freddy who served us (hope i spell it right) see you soon

The food is generally good. It's just that the portion size of the meat is not reduced if the roasted meat is okay, but it would be better to cut it into smaller slices. In terms of service, the waiter had a good attitude, but placed the wrong order. When placing the order, we did not confirm our order twice and placed the wrong order. We didn't place an order for the hot pot tofu but it was delivered to us. At that time, there were only 2 tables of guests including us. The guests at the first table have already finished their meal and want to pay their bills. But they still make this mistake. And after we reported the wrong dish, we thought they would change the wrong order number. It's a pity that the wrong dish was still included in our bill when we settled the bill. We were careless and paid the bill without checking it. We didn't find out until we got home the next day when we wanted to settle the bill😢. The dishes we didn’t order and didn’t eat were included. Our mistake was not checking when paying. But the waiters were so careless that they didn't change the bill after they discovered that there was only one table of customers ordering and the wrong dish was ordered. Really need to pay attention. Especially since it was not a busy time. 😬😬

Biggest Karaoke place in London with fantastic quality of food

My friend had an offer for bottomless dim sum for two hours , but it seems like the staff were being intentionally misleading. They give a sheet for you to tick off what you’re ordering, which indicates you get 4 rounds. When we wanted to order our 3rd round, they said that would be our final one but had not said we could only get 3 rounds. The egg fried rice was very bland and flavourless. Other food was decent. I ordered a portion of the Korean chicken, they said it was a portion of 6 but it came as a portion of 3. My friend ordered pork and spinach dumplings, which came with shrimp/prawn in them, which she is allergic to. When we queried why the menu doesn’t state that it has prawns in it, the staff told us they don’t make it and it comes from another venue, as if that’s a valid excuse!

Fantastic dim sum! Didn’t expect that in this area, but the food was great. The duck and rice was not so great but we didn’t care because the rest of it was so good 😊

Never book karaoke here unless you are a group entirely fluent in mandarin that only wants Chinese songs. Even then get ready for the machine to reset 10 times a night and for the speakers to be unsynced and not loud enough. Food was good if overpriced.

Second time visiting. Standards have deteriorated dramatically. The food was rather bland, not much inventiveness. The soup dumplings were saggy. The rice very very plain. The egg custard buns certainly could have passed for doughnuts. They were not authentic egg buns. Particularly given the renown name of this place abroad. It was disappointing. The staff were not welcoming at all, except for one gentleman. They seemed to be on another planet. Very grateful to be able to try the restaurant again but review wise it has slipped.

I attended the bottomless prosecco and food but was disappointed because it wasn’t really bottomless making it not worth the money. Service was slow even though the restaurant was empty. People on the regular menu were getting served much quicker. It’s a shame really because the staff were really friendly but overall the food and speed of service let it down.

My friend and I had the worst experience here. Food was cold and tasted old. They were not willing to rectify everything we pointed out about the food and service. We were not the only table complaining how awful the food was. My friend and I had not eaten prior as it was an early dinner booking, and unfortunately a few hours later we had food poisoning.

My friends and I came here for a bottomless brunch on Saturday, the food was amazing and the service was top notch! our glasses were constantly topped up and we were completely stuffed with the amount of food we had ! Would most certainly come back!

Highly recommendable! The venue was fantastic and the food was great! We booked the beer pong and karaoke room and it did not disappoint! It was great fun and experience. The service from the staff was superb as they really know how to handle big events like this. They were so helpful and suggested a lot of things which made it so much easier for me trying to organise. They were so attentive to our needs and everyone of them did an excellent job. The guy who I think runs the place went above and beyond! Great experience!

A slightly above average experience at Lan Kwai Fong. The food and options were pretty good and the taste was quite accurate to what you'll find in their country of origins. Unfortunately the portions were quite small for the price and portions in London. Although the service was very friendly and helpful. A good place to try, especially if you'd like some chinese (Hong Kong) food in Camden.

The worst experience ever, the food was cold and the chicken tasted rancid.

Restaurant ideally situated for Camden market. We walked along the canal from Kings Cross to get there. Well spaced tables and staff were friendly and efficient, explaining how everything worked before we started. We had the bottomless dim sum and bowls. Very large choice on the menu and pleasantly surprised that only one of our choices was unavailable. Glasses of prosecco were very generous. Food was delicious and house wine was good and well priced. Would recommend.

I went previously before and it was good so seeing the bottomless brunch deal made it a no brainer to come back again. Service was good until we sat down, took 15mins to get prosecco. All the food that came was cold. We only got 3 glasses of prosecco in 90mins. The food was a big let down we drowned everything in chilli oil and soy sauce. The was one waiter that avoided everyone and doing any work. Terrible, will not return.

Got a takeaway. The food is decent but portions small. the issue is it’s incredibly expensive. Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, prawn toast £25, crazy.

We went for lunch and it was so quiet we were the only ones there. Staff were friendly. We had the dim sum offer but didn’t think the dim sum was all that great, certainly good enough if your in Camden but you can find much better in China Town.

Fuimos buscando un sitio tranquilo y fresco (hacía calor) al margen del bullicio de Camden. La comida no es buena, es comida congelada y recalentada y poco sabrosa, algo que no es habitual en un restaurante chino. Pedimos unos rollizos (congelados), Dim sum (aceptables) y 2 tipos de Noodels que estaban recalentados (fideo pasado) y secos. La cerveza (Asahi), muy fresquita. El servicio correcto. No lo recomiendo para el precio que pagas. Hay muchas opciones en la zona(Casi 100£)

Food was good, the service was terrible. Food took a while to arrive, and when it arrived certain dishes were missing, and they had totally misplaced one person's order, so we had to wait more than an hour for everything to arrive.

Fantastic food and great staff who are so welcoming and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this venue and will be going back.

it was a great place for me and my friends to have a meal! noodles were pretty cheap for london and were very tasty! extremely close to camden market so very convenient. our food arrived very quickly and the flavours were superb :) although the motion sensor light in the bathroom was annoying but the staff were lovely!! very much recommend

BBQ pork was very small for the price, barely any meat & veg. Mix dim sum were all prawn and pretty overcooked which was disappointing.

The food was lovely (would come to try again)and so were the staff. The food took quite long to arrive and when it did, we had made a mistake but they offered to cancel it for free (I paid for it in the end out of courtesy). When the bill finally arrived, they discounted it voluntarily to compensate the wait, which was a pleasant surprise as I've had far worse from other restaurants.

3 tiny pieces of dumplings for £5. It's really dry. Forgot the second dish. Lots of better place in the area.

Disclaimer: We are vegetarians, this review is based on our experience with such diet. There is basically none vegetarian options, even if it looks like they do. The only real “meal” was stir-fried veggies (which tbh were very bland). We also ordered some vegetables dumplings and although the restaurant was basically empty, they managed to misplace our order and was eaten by another table. The meat dishes are probably great, but if you’re vegetarian, chose something else instead. Aside from this, it was a bit overpriced.

Superb value with the bottomless dim sum and prosecco at Lan Kwai Fong in Camden. The dim sum and other dishes come quick and hot, and the prosecco comes fast and chilled. Loved our visit to this restaurant and will be back

We went with a Time Out deal, the food was delicious and filling, the service was very good, and I would happily go back.

£12 for half a box of noodle is the biggest disgrace Iv ever witnessed how they can charge that was ridiculous. I was told it was massive portion. It was half the portion of a regular Chinese. Steamed buns were horrible because they had green onions inside them. Has better steamed buns in Chinese supermarket. Salt and pepper ribs where tuff as hell. Overall disappointing would not recommend

We always have lunch here if we go to Camden Markets. Really cool vibe with super friendly service. The food is delicious. We order 3-4 small plates for 2 people and that is ample food. Reasonable prices. Large menu so plenty of options. Opposite the market. Recommended.

We came to Lan Kwai Fong for a dinner before heading to a jazz club and we liked it a lot. The place is spacious and clean. The service was quick and polite. The food was fresh and tasty. We'll be coming here again :)

This restaurant really needs to improve its quality of food. It’s mediocre. Anybody who wants to go out for dinner, wants to experience something tasty and exciting. The menu is extensive, but it doesn’t feel that any passion has been put in, to make the food stand out. Lastly, and a real problem was the hygiene. In today’s world, one expects to have clean crockery and cutlery, when paying for a Meal. Please take on board the constructive feedback

Better than I expected! If I'm around Camden and want to have dimsum, I'll no doubt choose here. (Some of dish is more lean to Malaysian style). We ordered 15+ dishes, all quite nice. Recommend any dimsum that has prawn in it. So delicious!

Standard Chinese, average food, had to request twice sauces long after the dim sum were served. Pancake for the roast duck came overcooked and all glued together

Right in front of Camden Market signage. Awesome laksa and duck noodles. Service was top notch and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you are craving for Chinese food. Portions are huge and can be shared with two people. Oh and they have beer pong 🍻 cheers

We love this place and have lunch everytime we visit Camden Markets. Great vibe, great service and gonsmackingly delicious food. We stay with the starters. Four starters is enough for two. Today we had the spare ribs, crystal prawn dumplings, glutinous rice with chicken and sausage and the prawns deep fried in bean curd. Wow, fabulous. We will be back. No booking was necessary at lunch on Monday Bank holiday. Highly recommended!

Had a reservation and they closed because of a gas leak. They didn’t even bother to call or message us to let us know. We travelled over an hour to get here too. Pathetic.

The "bottomless" dim-sum isn't quite as bottomless as they say, but they have some of the best dumplings I've had in London.

Went for the Bottomless brunch and it was great value! Fast and friendly service, glass never empty and lovely dishes. Everyone there seemed to be having fun and there was a mix of couples, families and friend groups. Additionally the facilities were clean. I'm definitely going back - especially for summer. Recommended!

Popped in here for a quick takeaway as I was working. Service was lovely and they gave us cutlery and chopsticks for our meal. Atmosphere was really nice so I will plan to go back for a sit down meal with friends

We had the Karoke booth for my goddaughter’s 16 birthday celebrations. Someone had to show us a few times to sort out the Karoke but we soon got the hang of it and the food was lovely! We would have been useful if we had one person looking after us as there was approx 20 of us in total to order drinks and food which was confusing. However we had a good time, food was lovely and we’d visit again 👌🏾

Great lively place. We went on Saturday night for dinner just before attending a show at the Pirate Castle. The food was really delicious 😋. We ordered a pork and prawn Laksa, Pad Thai, and Won ton noodle soup as well as some Dim Sum and Calamari. The staff were friendly and were happy to make any changes that we wanted to a dish. Ordering was easy, we simply had to tick the dishes we wanted and hand it to the waiter. The place looks fun for birthdays, they had beer pong available, also games and karoke downstairs. Would recommend but booking is necessary especially on weekends.

I booked the bottomless brunch for my friends birthday and we both loved it! The staff were friendly and kept topping up our prosecco without us even having to ask, the food was really good and we were so full up afterwards!

Food was quite good and quickly brought out of the kitchen but the service was a bit off, with the waiters running around and essentially throwing the plates and napkins onto our table. The atmosphere was a bit loud as the beer pong area is not isolated from the restaurant and people were yelling and shouting the whole evening.

Too loud for my liking, I have severe tinnitus, and it was too loud and noisy in here for me. I couldn't hear my partner much at all, and she sat opposite me less than 40cm away. So, if you want a quiet meal for two, Don't come here. But if you want a great meal for two with a noisy, vibrant, lively atmosphere, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's just not for me due to the level of noise. Beware that car parking in this area is highly restricted and I would recommend using public transport, minicabs, etc to get here. There is one single Blue Badge space around the corner but I'm sure that I am not the only Blue Badge holder in London who enjoys dining out! I'm sure I'll be back to have dinner from here again soon enough but maybe I'll have a takeaway instead to avoid the crippling noise level.

Ordered a beer pong experience online and wasn't sure what to expect but it was really good fun. The technique they use is way more hygienic than regular beer pong as you don't have use the cups for the game to drink from. Platter was generous and options for alcohol were good and plentiful. We also got to play our own music which was a nice touch.

Lovely place right opposite Camden market. We had the bottomless dim sum and prosecco. Wait staff were always quick to top up the prosecco and you weren't kept waiting long for the food. The food itself was very tasty and I would recommend this place.

We had our company Christmas Party here and the night was a huge success! The food was really outstanding - the prawn toast in particular was the best I've ever tried! We hired the NEON room downstairs which had Karaoke and Beer Pong. The room was set up really nicely before our arrival and the manager and staff were very accommodating of a big group of 50 people, serving food buffet style and taking care of all our needs. We really enjoyed the whole experience of eating and drinking here. My only criticism if you are booking for karaoke is that the system is quite asian-centric so if you're looking for western songs they can be a bit tricky to find. But still plenty to choose from! This place does all you can eat buffet in London - great Chinese dim sum to go for. Freshly made siew mai and har gau! The duck pancake is really delicious and went for second round on these. I would definitely recommend people to come if they want to. There is also bottomless Prosecco drink to go with this dim sum too! Good brunch.

A bit to unpack, came here for a birthday dinner of 16 people we had a great time but...the menu system seem to confuse the server and chefs we ended up with our orders mixed up and the server not knowing what was what...so for me there was a risk of eating pork! 😳the food came out warm although it was tasty and filling an understanding of their own menu would have given this experience a solid 5 points.

We had a brilliant time on Saturday night in the Neon KTV room for my birthday. The room was great with great atmosphere and lighting, lots of space (we were a group of almost 25 and there was still so much space for sitting, moving around, dancing and socialising), a karaoke machine with two screens and an electronic beer pong table which was really fun. In particular, the food was amazing - well-presented, delicious and good value for money - and the service was excellent. We were very well looked after, the staff were really helpful and accommodating. We were all impressed and had a really fun night! Will definitely be returning. Thank you very much, Lan Kwai Fong!

As of this morning 21/11/2022 the boards have been removed and the restaurant looks open for business again. The lunchtime specials are good value and consistent, I’ve been here a few times now and the food is always the same quality. The last time I came here I had the shredded duck with pancakes “nice” today I had sweet and sour lunchtime special and it was good value for money. This is a nice Chinese restaurant located directly opposite one of the main entrances to Camden market. They have a great drinks menu with a good range of alcohol. On todays visit they still had the Halloween decorations up which looked quite nice at least they made an effort unlike some places. They have a lovely spacious resting and if you are with a large group you will be comfortable. The staff are polite and attentive. The service was quick. The toilets are downstairs and they are clean and modern. They also have a disability ready toilet on the ground floor which is very thoughtful. They serve fraught beer and real Coca Cola on the gun. The bar has a great range of Jack Daniels, so JD&Coke is the way forward. Special dishes are Dim Sum and shredded duck. This restaurant has been open since 2017 and is still going strong. What I almost missed was the Beer Pong, they have a private room downstairs and and separate area upstairs. The downstairs part has a private karaoke and beer pong room total rent out if you want.

We were a party of 7 people having supper on a Sat night. 2 parents aged 55 and 5 twenty somethings inc 3 Australian vistors who were craving Asian food. First the good point (s) the staff are awesome. Charming, kind and attentive. Struggling to think of the second good point but I guess walking distance from the station is a plus. Now onto the bad points. The restaurant atmosphere is pretty ordinary. No ambience and the whole focus seemed to be on the beer pong and Karaoke happening downstairs. That should have been the warning side for me but it wasn't clearly labelled. The food....Lord where do I start.
