Food was so good. Very friendly staff. The atmosphere was amazing, very busy with loads of birthdays, had a great experience.

The service was awful one of the waiters was so rude it was very busy but if you can't cope with the pressure you shouldn't be in that type of job .

Just popped in me and the wife Saturday night . Seated no problem even though we hadn't booked Prawn crackers and fips arrived straight away something to nibble on while your waiting really great Took the drinks order a few minutes later and drinks arrived really quickly another good touch ...worst thing in the world is just waiting around 10 mins later waiter took the order for starters and mains Starters arrived 15 mins later really good Watip and a portion of chicken/lettuce wraps both really good And the main were a seafood chow main and king prawns ginger spring onion Both excellent Great food, great service and reasonably priced will defo go again Rav

Absolutely appalling restaurant DO NOT EAT HEAR!!!. We started off by ordering Salt and Pepper Sui mai. It arrived and we discovered that there was prawns in it, nowhere on the menu did it state that it contained prawns and my partner does not eat them, I don’t need to explain why this is dangerous. The waitress was very rude and abrupt when questioned about this. She was very rude from the word go, she had no customer service or people skills The main meals came and as we dished out the rice we discovered there was insects in the rice, YES YOU READ THAT CORECTLY INSECTS!!! As you can imagine we refused the mains. Despite finding insects crawling around in our rice they removed drinks of our bill but still charged us for the starters. My partners mum was physically sic after leaving the restaurant. Again I warn you DO NOT EAT at this restaurant!!!

Very pushy. Almost pushed us out of the restaurant itself. Awkward service, good food.

Visitied Mr Ho's again as a 60th Birthday celebration for my wife with family and we booked the Party Room. The staff were brilliant as usual and the food was excellent. Everyone had a lovely evening and the Karaoke topped the night off perfectly. Definitely be back soon. Big Thank You to all the staff. They were fantastic all night.

How wrong we were, we ordered £41.50 worth of food and as it was getting near the 1 hour and 30 mins delivery time we gave them a ring. They apologised for the previous experience and said they’d send some drinks as an apology and it’d only be another 10 mins. Lo and behold it was late by 20 odd minutes, no drinks and the delivery driver tried to give us somebody else’s order, good job we checked. Our food was cold and we ended up with a random dish that was probably another poor souls food. It seems it’s too hard for them to do a decent job for what they are charging. Never again and I urge you to go elsewhere!

Food really nice and prices reasonable would go back again

I was really disappointed last night when I went to Ho’s for tea with friends. Soup and starters were fine but the main meals were inedible. Far too much salt and crispy chicken hard enough to break your teeth. Manager was quite hostile when we complained. They did however not charge us for the main meal.

Booked are table 5 days ago arrived 10 mins early was told table not ready waited over half an hr totally unorganised chaos soup sent back like dish water full of grease main meal was lovely though staff rushed of their feet private party in situ and staff up the wall would not recommend for special occasion

Only place we will have good Chinese food orders delivery service lovely friendly food is beautiful and always on time , lovely staff , we won't go anywhere else 😋

Had a great tea at hos food was excellent staff were friendly and a clean and bright lovely restaurant the vegetable chow me in was to die for plus the chicken and sweetcorn soup and lychee and ice cream my friend had salt and pepper chips chicken curry and egg fried rice and ice cream yummy

I don’t usually do a negative review, but feel this warranted one! We Ordered a takeaway from Ho’s @ 6.10, I called the restaurant @ 8.10 as we’d still not had the food. The restaurant said it’d be another 1.10 (so 3hours for a takeaway) I asked how we cancel as this length of time was unreasonable she said we need to cancel it through just eat. I told her it wasn’t ordered via just eat but via food hub. She said oh yeah food hub, she said Ho’s can’t do a cancellation we need to get in touch with food hub & that a refund would happen at sone point!? We’ve been on a webchat with foodhub for 20 minutes who have tried to call the restaurant to cancel the food order but they’re now not answering. Food hub have told us that it’s the restaurant who authorise any cancellations. So I’m bemused that having spoken to the restaurant to be told they can’t cancel to speak to the ordering agent to be told only the restaurant can authorise a refund. I appreciate it’s a busy night but 3 hours for a takeaway is ridiculous, if they’d advised on the website it’d take that long we would’ve gone elsewhere. We’re now struggling to get food at such a late hour. I’m so disappointed at this service & the complete disinterest from the staff at the restaurant. Sadly I will not be ordering from here again.

I have ordered from here many times. Ordered a takeaway for 2 tonight and the food was rubbish. No taste to salt and pepper chicken or the salt and pepper chips. Think that will be my last time as it’s not cheap either.

Great food, lots of tables, the food was hot when it came out, I ordered chicken toast and salt and pepper rib's, it's hard to find a restaurant that sells chicken toast if you haven't tried it then I would recommend it the staff were very pleasant , never waited long for our food, would recommend this restaurant

Food was beautiful and the service was great. We had a birthday and they were so helpful with the cake even adding more candles. My only grumble was the air conditioning which made it bone chillingly cold as we were sat very close to the vent, so take a jumper or carry just in case!!

We booked a table last night for 6 adults and a 6 month old baby. From the second we arrived they asked did we want a high chair but then complained there was no room for it to be at the table. We were then rushed to order our food by a waiter with a bad attitude. Then all 6 of us ended up eating our cold starters separately after waiting around 45 minutes for the first one to arrive. My plate had sauce on it from a previous order which clearly proves the plate hadn’t been washed properly!! We all finished our starters and had been staring at empty plates for another 40 minutes. We were then asked by another rude waitress if we were would like more drinks to which we replied can we ask how long the main courses will be please? To which she responded with a bad attitude and told us she had been waiting for us to finish our starters!! At this point I was feeding my 6 month old son and she very aggressively starting collecting plates leaning over my sons face!! I then spoke to the manager about the poor service and attitude from the staff, and was again approached by the same aggressive waitress shouting in my face. She then stormed out of the restaurant and as we were leaving she was smoking a vape at the side of the building and past another comment under her breath! Because of this certain member of staff making us all feel uncomfortable we won’t be returning and it is somewhere we have been going as a family for years! The whole place has gone down hill!!

If I could give it 0 stars I would! We went as a family of 6x and a 6month infant booked a table for 18:30, it was a bad vibe from the start they didn’t seem happy that we all wasn’t ordering the banquet the attitude was poor they wasn’t accommodating over the infant. We then hadn’t had our mains after 1hr 30mins when we raised this the lady had a very very bad attitude and argued with us so much so the young manager apologised for her behaviour and ordered her to calm down! At this point the night was ruined and we decided to leave the meals that we had ordered, the manager apologised again for her actions upon leaving the restaurant she was at the side smoking her vape not without making further comments. They lost themselves alot of money tonight and custom in the future we will not be returning to this place!

Nice restaurant,, soup was awful like gloop very sticky and thick received a refund for the soup dim sum starters really not very good, main course and afters very nice, not sure if we will return, we have been before and it was ok must have a new cook .

Recently had a meal here with a group of friends, we had banquet B. Very tasty food & great value for money -lots of food included in the banquet. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Will definitely be back again in the future.

Really good Chinese food served very quickly. Went on a Tuesday evening and there was plenty of space, even 'though we hadn't booked beforehand. We were brought crackers and dips straight away, then our meals quite soon after that by friendly staff.

Just ordered from here and the egg fried rice was not fried rice it was yellow colored and tasteless I paid 14 more and got a lot less then other set meals the meat was hard and the soup was watery and not nice had to make something else never again thought it would of been better for the price

Went to Ho's for celebration meal in private room. The set up was chaotic, a bit tight between tables & staff run off feet. The waitress's & waiters were patient but I felt were up against it. I felt the food was a bit bland, certainly had better. I would go again but not just now.

Called in with my wife Saturday evening with no booking, 5 minute wait while they sorted a table, pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. Ordered set meal C for 2, food was good and staff were very friendly. Great value

Family meal,food was nice,but I have never known a chinese restaurant like it for staff standing in a line and watching you all eat,it just wasn’t nice at all,kind of put us off returning as we found it quite rude!

I submitted a order online and was waiting for well over 2 hours before we called the restaurant to see where our order was upto, we was told that our order was in a que and should be getting cooked shortly, and should be with us within an hour. In the end, I asked the order to be cancelled and requested a full refund. The customer service was extremely poor and disappointing.

Great food and great service even during busy periods

We visited for the first time on the 21st December, everything was perfect. From the food to the level of customer service. The waiting staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Onto the food, the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, non greasy, cooked to perfection and so tasty. Presented beautifully with such skill, so good we are going back again.

another visit for some excellent oriental cuisine, great service, place packed again (as always it seems) we made the classic mistake of ordering too much food so payed for food we just couldn't eat... TIP- portions here are BIG so plan your order carefully if you don't want to waste hard earned money...

I love Ho's, this just wasn't the same as before, I've been coming here for birthdays and nights out, the chicken was so dry.

Dropped in for a Birthday meal with family. Food was lovely but the service was horrendous. Rude staff (albeit not all of them). Our server was running around with a mask and latex gloves which is fine as it’s their choice but I couldn’t understand anything he was saying and his frustration because of it was clear. I won’t be going back.

Tried a takeaway from here for the first time through a friend recommending it, and I was not dissspointed! This is the tastiest most authentic Chinese I have had for years! Even the chips are the best, been searching for a place like this for ages! It is more pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Delivery was in good time (half an hour early infact) and everything packaged well and hot. We all thoroughly enjoyed it though and will definitely be ordering again in the future! Thank you! Ordered from this wonderful restaurant again tonight and the service is impeccable. I made a big mistake on my order that wasn't realised until the food had already been prepared and the restaurant went above and beyond to correct this for me. I have never felt so looked after as a customer. Truly admirable service. I can't thank you enough. Highly recommend for the beautiful food and incredible service!

I had the braised ribs with black bean and garlic sauce for a starter my husband had the steamed char sui buns lovely. I then had the Singapore vermicelli and he had the sweet and sour pork with fried rice. Obviously we shared everything. Enjoyable meal and both happy.

Never fails too impress love the place

CHECK YOUR BILL! Was told my card payment didn’t go through (card must be faulty) so I used Apple Pay on my phone, all good, payment went through. Turns out I’ve payed twice for the meal. I’ve contacted the restaurant (Margaret) said she’ll look into it. After over a month of phone calls and offering to take my bank statement to her (she doesn’t want to see it) I’ve had to go down the small claims route. Hope the owner sees this Margaret and we won’t be returning there even though we live across the street!

Ordered food to take away. All together it was a huge disappointment!! The starter combo was very poor, prawn toast was burnt. The main was fillet steak in Cantonese sauce, was described as deep fried so expected it to be crispy. Unfortunately it was the consistency of a wet flannel and not enjoyable at all. Rice wasn’t too bad but no idea what the nest was for as was not eatable. Waste of money Would not order again or recommend

We ordered a takeaway for my birthday. The order was ready and waiting when my husband arrived to picked it up. We have eaten at the restaurant on a number of occassions when we were able too, we always loved the food. The food was delicious we enjoyed every bite. We had starters, then a beef and a duck dish. Thank you to chef and staff. We can't move,excellent.
