I gave two stars because I had worse, otherwise I would have only given one star. I only had fish and chips here and they weren't very nice at all. The staff is nice though.

Food is not good at all totally disappointed need to improve

Brillian service, 5 star rating, very clean and very good menu. The duck dishes are very good indeed. This is the only chinese take away I use now

If 0 was an option because even one star is way to much the food was shocking I hate to think of what the meat may have been but it definitely didn't taste right the rice looked like it had been cooked a week ago in a dirty pan and don't get me started on the prawn crackers I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all cost I would hate to see what goes on in the kitchen but it must be dirty going by the quality of the food

Would not recommend this place. Food was cold, the fried rice just tasted like salt. The chicken and sweet corn soup was just water with near enough a full tin of sweetcorn in, it looked and smelt vile. Everything we ordered had a weird smell Don’t waste your money 😂

came to try this takeaway because of its high reviews and ordered crispy chilli chicken to be given half a container of food in virtually no sauce. more of an oil with peppers and onions. half a portion, not even what I would normally get for a starter anywhere else and I went back in to give them the benefit of the doubt. Had the bag i was given with the container in and said, i came in before and I was just wondering if this is a full size portion because it looks like half a portion to me. She didnt even look or investigate to see what they had given and just immediately replied saying yes thats a full portion. how does she even know what they gave out! it was put in the container by someone else in the back 🤣🤣🤣 so yeah, great customer service and good value for money 🤣🤣🤣 dont waste your time or money. I eat takeaways up an down the country weekly.This is my first chinese takeaway review in shock.

Went to this chip shop for a second visit, I only ordered chips peas and gravy, not a good result.I think the chips had been re heated and the gravy was congealed like jelly.won’t be going again.

Went to this takeaway one Thursday evening, the girl behind the counter was very friendly the food was delicious, I would recommend the hot and sour soup and the Singapore chow mien. We will definitely visit again next time in the area.

Rang for a takeaway tonight. Wednesday. Phone got picked up and slammed down. Rang again. And again. In total 15 minutes. Bad service 😡

Best sui mai anywhere on Merseyside and the crispy duck 11/10 all beautiful, delivery driver really nice and early(bonus)if you haven't tried this place you have to.

Service was terrible tonight only wanted chips and curry made me wait at least 20 mins been going here for 15 years never again keep on with your prawn crackers instead of customers rated you on the service good luck to yer .

Late and cold whenever its delivered, when collecting the food is never ready and need to wait upwards of 30 minutes extra despite being told when to pick up, constantly forgetting food and offer no help when letting them know, absolute shambles, this is our local but we won't be bothering anymore.

The best Far Eastern food around. Chungs really are a class above any other Chinese takeaways in the area. The food is fantastic and we have never been even in the slightest disappointed when we have visited. The meals are so tasty and a great choice. Our personal favourites are the Hong Kong Style Duck, Singapore Vermicelli and Kindo Beef. You areally will not be disappointed,it is also the cleanest takeaway you will ever see and worthy of its 5 star hygiene rating.

i ordered half a duck an pancakes, and it was the best I've ever had..the duck was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it..i would definitely recommend to everyone.

This is the best chippy ive been too for a long time! Portions are generous and it's amazing value for money! Special fried rice is absolutley AMAZING!!

The food here is Amazing! The OK sauce with Anything, the salt and pepper ribs And the chips and Gravy or Curry! I don't know what they put in there but it's the best gravy and OK sauce I've ever had, and I'm Chinese! The owners are really lovely people too. Check the food at this place out!

Great fish and chips cooked to perfection English style, and it's a popular place, busy every time we've been just wish the Chinese lady could muster a smile for her customers.....

Beautiful food, very clean and wonderful menu

Ordered hot and sour soup, salt n pepper Sui mais and salt and pepper chicken wings. The shui mais were not cooked. The where pink, cold and raw inside. I had to throw them away. Chicken wings weren’t great. Not battered and very small portion. The soup was nice and spicy.

Cheungs super fry great chippy. Do a great liver dinner which is my favourite and a great chicken mushroom fried rice. Had one bad experience in all the years I've been going when they forgot about my telephone order. Other than that 5/5

I have used Chungs for over 20 years having been a family business run by Christine and Desmond . Always a warm friendly and professional welcome from front of house Christine whilst Chef Desmond prepares fresh your order , the food is of a consistently high standard . Highly reccomended.
