Ok I usually get my take away from here and ot really is brilliant. But and it's a big but would I eat inside? No way unless of course I was offered to dine upstairs. Reason is it's so tiny and I don't really fancy dining in the lower area as you are in full view of everyone else waiting to pick up there takeaway and going to the counter to submit their orders or pay. Now please I'm no prude but it really is tiny, but as stated food and service is excellent.

Good was amazing and not too harsh on the bank either. Bit of a pain to park if you can get on the main street but apart from that no complaints at all

Lovely meal. Hot and tasty. Definitely recommend. Tanisha our server was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Will return for sure.

Portions are good! Quality not so much. Sweet and sour chicken was deep friend chicken in a weird batter and a small amount of sauce. House special curry not great. Seaweed was lovely. Pop was warm. Salt and chilli chicken was the same batter as sweet and sour but no peppers onions etc ... Staff were friendly enough but no restaurant experience. Clumsy and dressed in hoody and jeans. Confused when we asked for things to come out separately not all together. We were sat at the front of the 'restaurant' more like a shop but felt like we were sat at the front of a take out only. You can hear the chef shouting at staff while trying to enjoy a meal. The door was left open which left the shop cold. Wouldn't personally go back but everyone's tastes are different.

Phone order placed 6 pm. Pick up 6.30. . Nice young lady. Had meals from here before all been good.

Food was amazing and the staff are so friendly, it's amazingly decorated and the customer service is incredible. The lady that took out food order saw us taking photos and even offered to take one of me and my partner.

DO NOT USE Collected Chinese and rice dish missing. Asked for refund and was told they would credit me next time! When I insisted on refund they said they would deliver the rice. It was not delivered.

Delicious freshly cooked tasty food, with fantastic service . The girls on the phone/ counter are very helpful & friendly. The best Chinese for miles around, without a doubt! All dishes we have had are full of flavour, and cooked to perfection . Try it , you won’t be disappointed 😊

WOW 👏 now we love a good chinese takeaway and have been searching for a good one for quite some time now, it was that good i completely forgot to take pictures because it was all gone too quickly 🤣, it was one of the best Chinese we have ever had, we went for a chicken fried rice, onion rings, with sweet and sour chicken balls... we would highly recommend this off the menu some of the best we have tasted. Thankyou for the amazing service from the lovely lady as well ❤️

I have bought our takeout from here many times , but tonight I was hugely disappointed. The crispy duck was overcooked and very fatty and was inedible , I feel it could have been refried from previous day. And I ordered dry fried vegetable chow mien but what I got was dry noodles. This was a treat for Mother’s Day but was a total let down . We couldn’t go back and complain as we live ten miles from the restaurant. I’m afraid this Chinese has lost our custom and we will return to the Chinese restaurant closer to our home. ( I had insisted we get our meal from Beijing cuisine despite my mums concerns ) I should have listened to my Mum

Placed a take away order . When I went in to collect it there was 3 girls behind the counter eating a bar of chocolate each and enjoying a bottle of Pepsi max so much so they had a hard job to ask amount to be paid. Then I get home to find a meal missing. Won't be returning

I booked Several weeks in advance for a party of possibly 12 turned out because of ill health only ten of us. This was to be a celebration for my 70th Birthday. It was an absolute shambles. The food turned up in dribs and drabs. People sitting with a bowl of rice but no mains to go with it. In all my years on this planet I’ve never known anything so bad. This place should be avoided at all costs. I spent the evening in tears instead of smiling and being happy. Felt totally humiliated. Plates being brought to the table by girls holding them with their jumper sleeves and then no food being brought up. Some food was brought to us but it was stuff not ordered. Completely ruined my night. I wanted a nice evening to remember certainly was but not in a good way. This would have been quite a profitable evening for them but we walked out in disgust. There loss. Could have been a nice earner 10 people at possibly £20 to £30 each. If not more. And they ended up with nothing. AVOID THIS PLACE

Dined here last night, we ordered 4 dishes between the two of us and couldn't eat it all as the portions are quite generous. Really enjoyed the food and would go again.

Fresh, tasty well prepared dishes and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyable. I lived in Asia for years, and the food here was as good as many other Singapore restaurants.

We dined in but prices on inside dining did not correspond with what we were charged. Firstly we paid an extra £2 for English Tea as only Chinese Tea shows on till so we were overcharged! Also overcharged £1 extra per dish and not told this before ordering or when order was taken! We had already paid an extra £1 on each dish to eat in the restaurant which was fair enough. We just don’t appreciate hidden extra costs. Our issues were laughed off by staff member.

We had an excellent meal at Beijing Cuisine last night! The food was so fresh and all dishes ordered were great, we particularly enjoyed the battered prawn balls, crispy beef, Phoenix rice and roast pork & duck with ginger and spring onion. Service was really friendly and efficient, had one small issue with our very large order (for 8 people!) which was solved quickly. If we lived closer we would definitely be regulars!

Some of the best Chinese food i have had, where the staff did their best to make us feel welcome. The place could have really befitted from some background music. However the atmosphere feels quite odd and rough, where the rooms could do with a refurb to be more comfortable. (Such as sticky floors, windows which would randomly slam and poor lighting.)

The worst Chinese I have ever eaten. Our order was wrong, one whole dish not even on the order and the sweet & sour chicken balls came with curry sauce! The receptionist who took our order was more interested in chatting to her friend sitting beside her and talking about boys on her phone to get our order correct. The whole takeaway went in the bin. Terrible.

These guys are on it great service plus very good at working to the time slots given when ordered great food and staff extremely friendly helpful also eat in avaliable in the restaurant would recommend them as a local to helston

Good Chinese restaurant, food seemed cleaner than most and very tasty. Friendly owners.

Not too impressed after waiting 30 minutes for our food and everyone else getting their orders before us, after ordering after us. Front of house staff weren't particularly helpful, couldn't look at you whilst speaking to you, one of the people either had her hands in her hair or her fingers in her mouth, not great when you're handling food. Salt and pepper chips are quite literally chips with table salt and pepper on them, not too pleased you have to pay extra compared to normal chips

Fantastic little Chinese food restaurant in Helston. Portions are great, food quality is really good with a huge menu available. Free prawn crackers are often provided although I've not been able to figure out the order size that these accompany. I should stop ordering a second bag! Parking outside to collect can be tricky so allow a little extra time.

Had a meal there this evening food ok, brought the rice and noodles out a few minutes before the main meal.the table we where put on was situated right next to the counter far too close people coming in to collect take outs. Whilst we where there customers came in to collect take outs not wearing mask. Menus where just left on the tables without being cleaned for the next customers. No COVID restrictions followed.

My daughter Lana lives in Camborne and I am only a visitor from Barnet. Every time I come down we always go here, definitely best Chinese cuisine around. Well cooked food served courteously and with a smile. A big thank you to Amy and all her family & staff. (Crispy chilli 🌶 beef in plum sauce and salt & pepper king prawn are my personal favourites, but all dishes are luvvly jubbly)

Had a excellent meal with my family here tonight, the food was beautiful, very tasty and well cooked, lots to choose from and reasonably priced. The best Chinese around, A weekly treat, dont trust any of the others, I also live in Penzance but its well worth the drive, staff are lovely and polite too!

Great Chinese and never once had a problem here. Smoked chicken starter is superb as is the crispy chilli beef and duck with black bean sauce.

Normally I love this place but it will never eat here again ordered a few things but we stressed no prawns in food as my girlfriend in allergic and she is currently 32 weeks pregnant picked up our food got home plated up as we were eating I noticed a prawn in the food so I phoned up the shop and told them about it and all they said was what do you want me to do about it absolute joke could of been vary serious to my Mrs and my unborn son absolute raging

Ordered for a family of four, and they got almost everything wrong, things forgotten and given random items instead. So we rang them up to mention the mistakes only to said that we were in the wrong and had made the mistakes when giving her the order, even though she read back the order correctly it was still our fault, she was very rude and unhelpful and then hung up on us. Will not be returning

Good Chinese Cuisine in the middle of Helston. COVID prepared and staff manage the restrictions well. Customers will feel safe in the venue. Good food and service and reasonably priced. Recommend this for authentic Chinese food.

We ordered over the phone and asked to give a time we would like to collect. The food was ready when they said it would be and was really delicious. When I went to collect, staff were friendly and chatty. The Red Lion pub round the corner on church street allows you to eat takeaways there. Pizzas, anything. They have food delivered from a local restaurant . If we had known we could have brought cutlery etc from where we were staying and stayed in the pub to eat it. Brilliant idea and supporting local businesses.

The food was really basic, commercial Chinese. The staff were super friendly so I feel bad leaving a poor review. Even with the governments eat out scheme I wouldn't go back. Everything was just so salty and flavourless. Both my son and I had a bad stomach after eating it. We had a big range of dishes between us all and not one thing stood out.

First visit to this lovely restaurant and as a family of four really enjoyed. The restaurant serves take away too and has just re opened for table bookings. Food was nice, excellent customer service with helpful and friendly staff. Clean facilities and felt safe in currently climate with my family of four. Would definitely recommend.

Polite reception and good food, I ordered in store and it was pretty snappy. However there was an english woman who took my order, slightly dissapointing from a chinese resteraunt but there was a comforting, incoherant conversation in what I assume to be mandarin in the back.

Ordered my first takeaway here.. and it was delicious..best meal ever..highly recommended..well done...

Very disappointed with tonight’s takeaway the food was dry with no taste there was something gritty in the small amount of sauce we had. Whilst I was there collecting it somebody else was retuning there food as they were given the wrong order. Avoid this place there are others to choose from.

Visited here for a friends 60th birthday party. Lovely food and the waitresses were so lovely and helpful considering we were a large bunch of rowdy customers! Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Really nice take away. Best we've found in the area. Sweet and sour Hong Kong style, chicken chow main and egg fryed rice.

We had a family gathering on Christmas Eve and ordered a large takeaway meal for 8 people. Our order was perfect, the food was delicious and the staff were really helpful. Top class, well done, we will be back soon.

Although it says that it is open til 11pm we were disappointed to find that they close earlier than this. False promises..

When we arived i thought i had turned up at the wrong place as the restaurant looked nothing like the pictures, it was a bit pokey downstaits wher we sat but reletivly comfortable. We where met by a polite young man who seated us and gave us menus and took our drink order which was brought to us promptly accompanied by complimentary prawn crackers. We ordered from a menu with a large anount of varied options and waited, our food was ready very quickly and was absolutly delicious, Myself and my partner agreed that it was the best chinese food we had had for a while.

Just had a Saturday night treat and it was absolutely delicious. I had king prawn chow mien and my husband had chicken and vegetables with egg fried rice and sesame toasties. Yum yum . Made our evening. Thank you.

Food is nice but beware if you ask them to exclude an item. During phone order 3 times we made it clear we wanted an item excluded. On picking it up we had it confirmed that there was none in any container. Got home to dish up and they had not listened. Luckily no allergy flare up. Got a refund but still some allergies are deadly

Where do I begin, this evening we had one of the worse takeaways ever! The food was disappointing at best, seriously lacking in flavour. I’m not sure they know what a chow mien is, wet sloppy noodles in a very fake tasting smokey sauce. Some sort of luncheon meat diced up and thrown in there....... utterly repulsive wouldn’t feed it to a dog. The bang bang chicken was abysmal more like soggy wet salad with salad cream covered chicken. When I opened the container I wasn’t sure if it was the chefs cats vomit. The only thing I could think that is a positive was the prawn crackers, no doubt they are out sourced! 90% of the order went straight in the bin. The hoisin sauce and prawn crackers making up the remaining 10% avoid like the plague.

Whilst on holiday in the area, my wife and I went to this restaurant for an early dinner after an afternoon on the beach so that we would have time for an after-dinner walk. We ordered the sizzling beef in black bean sauce and sizzling lamb with spring onion and ginger (plus some boiled rice). It did not take long for the food to arrive at the table and it turned out to be very tasty. We were both very impressed with the food and enjoyed it greatly. The price was very reasonable as well.

Getting a Chinese on holiday is always a gamble, sometimes it can be awful however this takeaway was even better than our local. Lovely service, piping hot food and quick service. Every meal was extremely tasty and we were left pleasantly surprised as we all had one of our favourite chinese’s ever. Highly recommend.

the order was messed up. I ordered king prains in batter, they phoned me back to confirm that I wanted K/P in bater. when I got home i found that i ordered 2 soup and only got one and the K?P in bater was chicken, and the spare ribs were rubish all in all a total disaster . Never again for me. and if you are ordering a take away, I addvise you to check your order befor leaving the place. becausse if you call them after you are home. they dont want to know. sorry sir is all you will get. At 7 PM the place was empty , does that not tell you something

Al the bad write ups on this restaurant are rubbish.My wife and I went for a belated anniversary meal on Saturday 25/05/2019The food, wine and Tiger beer were excellent. I had barbecued spare ribs to start and sizzling squid for mains. My wife had a vegetarian meal. The food was hot and freshly cooked and the service was enthusiastic first class. The prices are very reasonable in this day and age..I have been to this establishment several times over recent years and so has other family members who enjoyed their meal and ambience as much as we do. highly recommended

Worked all day on Saturday on a couple of jobs for friends, so treated myself and my Wife to a Chinese takeaway.

After years of eating here we were very disappointed tonight, no flavour. If this is due to the “no salt and pepper" brigade then just ask if we want seasoning. Sorry, but won't be back soon.

We have been using this take away for years and it has always been good and we have always complimented them on the food. However the last trip was different. We ordered take away and collected as always. Once home we ended up eating a curry so salty that you you taste nothing else. I understand that sometimes they will never know until someone complains so my wife called them to let them know. We were told that we had to return what was left even though we had binned it and that all the curry was the same. We suggested that they went and tried it only to be rudely told that they would do nothing to rectify the issue. After 10 mins on the phone we were told they would call us back. Nothing, it was the worst customer service I've ever experienced and they have lost a customer for good. There are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in Helston and we will certainly be using those instead.

My husband and I both ordered a beef curry from here tonight, when we got home and started to eat it it was so heavily laden with salt it was inedible.

Tom yum soup was tasteless, no evidence of lemongrass or bay leaves used, no flavour even after using soy sauce. Disappointing.

Ok, not great. The Tom Yung isn't! No flavour, no bay, no lemongrass, even with soy. Pork curry ok. Decor, as in seating could do with replacement, tired. Tasted better

Really nice Chinese takeaway, the best of Helston in our opinion. Regularly order from the very friendly girls here, love the Singapore noodles plus the prawns in black bean. Also recommend chicken in satay sauce and beef curry. We do think offering free prawn crackers on an order of £20 or more would be a very standard and sensible thing for them to do but overall really good takeaway food
