Our first time ordering food at Rising Dragon, after being recommended to us and I can say, it definitely didn't disappoint. Food was flavourful, hot and took no time at all to be prepared. Loved watching all the food being cooked while I waited. Definitely will be back! 😃

Ordered through Kernow Eats, fast, friendly, prompt service. The food was still hot. Delivery driver was friendly, and chatty. Definitely recommend Kernow Eats if you want a Rising Dragon delivery, local honest company

As always at the Rising Dragon, very tasty food at good prices. It's great to see the food prepared in an open kitchen and to note the high hygiene standards rating. Front of house doesn't smile much, but that doesn't alter the delicious food!

Decent food, decent portion. I just wished they add abit more spice to their food. I had phoned ahead and asked for our food to be More spicy and it was all just pretty bland.

Our most recent order at the Rising Dragon was outstanding. Generous portions of food with fresh veg, tender meat & very flavousome. It really couldn't have been better. The food is prepared in an open kitchen in full view of the customer and the service overall was very efficient. The only downside being that the once complimentary 'prawn crackers' on the house with a reasonable order have now been ceased.

One of the better Chinese takeaways I have had, good portions, good value and really tasty, we had a variety of dishes amongst 6 people so had a reasonable selection from the extensive menu, short wait while it was cooked. Will definitely re visit.

In the past this takeaway has been our "go to" place over many years for superb meals. However, last night the meal was well below standards. The duck dish we ordered was inedible with the meat being so tough that even the dog couldn't chew it! The rest of the order was not up to scratch & seemed to be dried out as if left standing. This meal was for a birthday celebration & left us very disappointed. Not up to standard, please pull your socks up or locals will desert you.

The food is amazing as always. The only thing I'd say is to check your order to make sure it's all there before you leave.

It's cash only but there are a couple of ATM's around the corner. The prawn toast it great but the sweet and sour chicken balls were a bit dry. I'd recommend it but maybe order something that isn't chicken.

Food here was so good. We asked to make the chow mein dry because I don’t really like the saucy ones and the man on the phone was so accommodating. Best food I’ve had in a while.

The Rising Dragon has been our 'to go to' Chinese takeaway for a number of years but every great thing comes to an end. Sadly the standards have slipped in our opinion, our previous 3 takeaways have been disappointing, they've been less than hot & lacked the deeper intensity of flavours that we've been use to here. Prawn crackers are also no longer supplied as standard, a small thing but use to be a nice touch. We use to rate the 'Rising Dragon' as the best in town but we'll try others in the coming months and have a change to see if we can find better. On a positive note the food is perfectly edible, comes in the transparent plastic containers which are great to keep hold of and all cooked in an open kitchen which we like & the staff are generally friendly. Overall what use to be an excellent takeaway is now average.

Vegetable fried rice, 'seaweed', House Special Fried Rice and Cashew Chicken were all absolutely delicious and big portions. I got a takeaway on a busy Friday night after not getting into any restaurants so was feeling disappointed. Very cheered up by how delicious the meal was and the staff were polite.

The food was great, full of flavour and really fresh. The portion sizes were generous. Best Chinese takeaway we have ever had, just wish we lived closer so we could visit regularly, when we are next in Falmouth we will defo be using and would recommend to anyone.

The food is great, the waiting in the rain for 40 minutes is not so good. They tell you a time to collect but only cook when you have paid for it, and they only take cash..

First the positives the food was hot and really tasty. The really big negative is that they ONLY TAKE CASH! Like nearly everyone in these covid times. Most people are either using cards or 'contactless'. So it didn't occur to us when we placed our order by phone we would need it, we were also not warned that they only take cash, so when we arrived to pick up our order, we then had to find a cash point to pay for it. Come on guys it's 2021 not 1921, when even market stalls and ice cream vans are taking contact less why can't you? Especially in these covid times.

Best Chinese but very slow and insist on cash only. This place cooks the best Chinese take away in town BUT it’s become very slow with a confusing queuing system. Defo needs to speed up orders are consistently 1hr + after arriving to collect phone orders!

Utter chaos! Ordered over the phone told it would be ready in 50 minutes. Came to collect after 50 mins where you have to pay on arrival. Given another number and left to wait even longer outside.

Our first visit to this Chinese takeaway and it didn’t disappoint, the portions were generous and very tasty, we have never seen such a large spring roll, the chicken & sweet corn soup had a generous amount of chicken, the Singapore vermicelli noodles were deliciously spicy, chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce was both tasty and again generous in content and the crispy chilli beef was just the best, we throughly enjoyed our meal and would heartily recommend , we will be back again.

Ok So we order takeaway often and it’s great Every now and then we try somewhere else locally for Chinese but it’s never as good. We basically swap from here to Ploy Thai when we want Thai food and back. It’s always prompt and delicious You can book delivery through an app called One Delivery if you would rather not call in It’s not a restaurant btw Just takeaway

Sorry but the food was awful. I ate 4 mouthfuls then had to throw it away. Dry, salty ,tasted recooked. Bamboo shoots and water chestnuts came mixed with onion and carrot. Not what we are used to. Sweet and sour sauce tasted just like vinegar. Disappointed. Back to Wing Cheung next time.

Queuing system a bit haphazard but good food

Truly disgusting! Satay sauce so watery its basically a drink, Boiled flavourless chicken, the bean sprouts have no flavour. The chicken balls are the only redeeming factor. Big chunks of chicken inside a slightly seasoned batter. Truly disgusted. Never coming back.

Bought duck and mushroom main course with egg fried rice & prawn crackers. Prawn crackers stone cold, duck dish inedible. Other nearby take aways are far better but sadly closed on a Monday. £11 wasted.

My Chinese of choice - always. Food is tasty and the service when you collect is always spot on. Generous portion sizes as well - which isn’t true of all the Chinese takeaways in Falmouth.

Horrible horrible good. What a waste of 20 quid. We want authentic Chinese food and are prepared to pay for it but just get this disgusting industrial processed rubbish instead.

Been a customer for a long time but recently they've got the order wrong every single time, was twenty mins over the time I'd been told it would be ready also, i went back to get it sorted and waited another ten mins as it hadn't been started to be cooked again yet, so asked for a refund..... MY GOD the woman kicked off at me saying I should drive all the way home again and bring back the food so she could re-sell it. I had touched it, yet she was more concerned about being able to re-sell the food. I won't buy from there ever again!!!! They gave me half the money back and I went hungry, disgusting service

Amazing food. Have had a few meals from here recently and all have been sublime.

Very good and the service was very fast and friendly. We especially liked watching the food being cooked. No microwaving here! My only qualm was that they don't deliver (though tbh the walk is probably better for me!), portions were a little small and the sauce (chow mein) was a bit thin and flavourless, but I wouldn't expect much more from a takeaway. It was a good experience overall!

I HAD such high hopes having seen all the 5star reviews. Alas, what a disappointment! Singapore vermicelli had all the right primary ingredients but was dry and had no spice or sauce what-so-ever. The starter, labelled 'Bang bang chicken' was comprised of the following; slices of cold chicken breast on top of a bed of lettuce smothered in 1000 Island or Marie Rose dressing???!!!! It just goes to prove; you can't always trust Google reviews.

Last night we decided on a Chinese takeaway. Last time I went to our usual one in Killigrew street, it was awful (overcooked, no flavour etc), so decided to see if there were any others being recommended - up popped Rising Dragon. So popped down and went in. Loads of customers (good sign), very pleasant and efficient young lady taking orders and 8 minutes from order to food ready (blimey). So home to eat - and quite possibly the best Chinese takeaway we've ever had! Food tasted exceptional, loads of it, and the price was reasonable (probably not THE cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive either). So, this is definitely our Chinese of choice from now on. Great job!

Just had the set meal for two ‘A’ Enormous amount of food. Enough for three people. Kept the spring rolls for the next day. Very high quality food. Cooked in an open kitchen so you can watch. Would highly recommend.

Pagué mi primera y última visita a Rising Dragon para llevar anoche. Pedí un pollo al curry y arroz frito. el arroz cuando lo puse solo salió en una masa con forma de recipiente y la salsa de curry estaba muy líquida y realmente no sabía mucho como un curry, el arroz sabía muy grasoso y se quedó conmigo por el resto de la noche, en general muy decepcionante.

Though this Chinese is one of the ones that doesn't do delivers. It's worth going to collect even if it's raining cats and dogs as there meals are amazing . Tasty well cooked and quick.

Takeaway for 2 consisting of Singapore Fried rice, Salt n Pepper Chicken, Garlic Mushrooms and Prawn Crackers. All ok and reasonably tasty, but not nearly spicy enough to be depicted with a chilli. Good portions and prices, Cooked quickly whilst we waited

This is still the best Chinese take away in Falmouth with food cooked while you watch over the counter. I've had alternative Chinese in Falmouth recently and they do not compare.Sometimes the chips can be lower standard if visiting mid-week or earlier in the evening (not salted or cooked for long enough) for some reason. But Fri & Sat the food is great!

This is supposed to be the best takeaway in Falmouth but we were a little disappointed.The food was very average and not that appealing. Would not buy from there again but this is our personal opinion and should not put anyone off trying it.
