If I could select no stars then I would. First time having Chinese from here and it was vile, barbecue spare ribs were to salty with no flavour, it was more like a spring roll, the beef in black bean sauce was like the beef was soaked in watery sick, even the mushroom tasted horrible. Pancake roll no flavour, it was all discussing. Cheap ingredients and over priced. We will not be going here again and would advise others to not go unless you want to waste your money and end up chucking it away.

Possibly using very cheap ingredients!!!.food was nice and hot but very watery.should have stuck with the one we know in redruth.

Best in the area. Always tasty and fresh and not running with grease like some others locally. I always collect so can't comment on delivery service. Counter staff always very pleasant.

Fantastic takeaway food. Really good quality, generous portions.I will certainly be a regular customer. Would certainly recommend.

After waiting 2 and a quarter hours for a takeaway they said would be 1 hour and a quarter max the chips were cold and tasted like they had been re heated. The curry sauce was luke warm too. When we asked for sone discount we were told 'no discounts!'Last time we will be ordering from there

We ordered a takeaway from here a couple of weeks ago, we normally avoid eating takeaways where possible but after an extremely long day it was exactly what was needed. We ordered s variety of food which we presumed would be cooked from fresh, on ordering I asked if one of the meals a simple sliced chicken, pork and rice could be made without the pork. No this wasnt possible, nor could it be made with a different sauce despite the sauce for this meal just being placed on top. It's not often we try to amend food dishes wherever we go but the fact these simple requests couldn't be met just shows how these meals are clearly not fresh. My daughter fancied a few chips that were completely swimming in grease to the point they clearly hadnt been drained. We live in close proximity to this Chinese and can honestly say that we have smelt them cooking from 1pm until they open, this really is your meals being pre cooked. With another Chinese just a minutes walk away Dragon Spring simply doesn't compare

Stayed at our cousins and decided to get a delivery from here. Very impressed quick delivery and the food was great.

Having just arrived we wanted a quick and easy tea. After checking out reviews we decided on this Chinese. We ordered a lot of food and feelings were mixed. I’ll run down some of our dishes and what we liked and disliked. Bang bang chicken - my daughter had wanted a mixed starter but they didn’t do one so we went with this. It was salad with sliced chicken and a thick sauce. My daughter didn’t like it and said it wasn’t like any bang bang chicken she’d previously had. Foo Yung - we ordered a couple of these and they were very good. Chicken fried rice and noodles were good. The curry sauce had a nice taste but it seemed watered down. Certainly thinner than we’re used to. The chips were a huge disappointment none of us liked them. It wasn’t a bad meal just not as good as we’d expected. A lot depends on what you order.

Been using dragon spring for a while now. Whenever I call to place an order the phone is always answered quicky. The food is always ready I collect and the delivery service is excellent!

We have recently purchased a house in close proximity to this takeaway, although our old Chinese is still within driving distance we decided to try here and see how it compared. We are very pleased to say it did compare, was just as delicious as the one we are used to. All meals reasonably priced, collection time was very quick and the free prawn crackers went down a treat I always forget to order them! Happy to say this is our new local

once again we had our Friday evening meal from the Dragon Spring take away. I had plain spare ribs to start with a special curry and egg fried rice and my wife a beef and mushroom curry again with egg fried rice. Over the years we have eaten many Chinese take always and once again the quality quantity and price here are second to none. amazing this place is in Cornwall because without doubt all the others we have tried do not meet standard. Staff are friendly always ready when you collect and a free bag of prawn crackers. What more can a man ask for

Once again Friday night and in need of food. Wife has great idea lets get takeaway so on the phone to Spring Dragon meal ordered and fifteen minutes later collected. OMG awesome again yes perfect spare ribs and then special chow mein.My wife had beef and mushroom curry with egg fried rice and again was a real treat. loads of meat and onions etc and of course a good spicey heat to it. All round a brilliant decision

We had our son visit from the USA and decided to have a take away meal. My choice a beef in ginger with spring onions and egg fried rice whilst my wife chose a beef and mushroom curry again with egg fried rice while our son decided he was hungry so he would have a quarter duck pancakes and hoisin sauce and then chilli shredded beef with boiled rice. So all meals without exception were received hot and all tasted great. All came in good containers and a good size portion such that our son had the duck pancakes and sauce but had to leave the shredded beef as he was full. Cost just less than thirty pounds and the best Chinese we have ever eaten in Cornwall. 5 star

Quick delivery and pleasant staff. Good choice with the menu and all reasonably priced. Order over the phone with cash or card.

Been going to this Chinese for a couple of years now. The last couple of times I’ve been, the food hasn’t been as good as usual being too oily and not very hot. Last night’s was tepid, greasy & disappointing. After recently visiting the Summer Palace whilst in Wincanton where I had fantastic Chinese, I’ll be finding a new local takeaway (see my review on 9/11/17).

Nos trasladamos a Cornwall hace un año de los Midlands donde Asiática y China tome siempre están en cada esquina y algunas entre. Hasta ahora en el frente asiático le han fallado, sin embargo, encontrar la primavera dragon llevar hemos identificado el mejor restaurante igual a la mejor de las Midlands. Que ahora tenemos 4 comidas todas diferentes y encontramos la calidad y cantidad de servicio y personal de primera clase. Hoy cuando me llamó para realizar el pedido de carne me preguntó si estaba disponible ginger, ya que no estaba en el menú. En unos segundos, me informaron que era y tan ordenados. Me dieron 15 minutos de tiempo y llegamos como lo había solicitado, a encontrar la comida estaba lista, la cual había sido el caso en todas las ocasiones anteriores. El costo de 2 comidas con una bolsa de pan de gambas era £13'70. Al llegar de vuelta a casa la comida fue comido y fue ejemplar. Un montón de jengibre y de primavera sí mucho campo con cebollas de carne que se evapora. En general una comida realmente buena y sabrosa.

always had a good meal here and now they deliver as well so I can relax they are qu what more can you ask forite nice people although don't say a lot but when they do they are polite

esperar casi una hora para entrega y cuando llegamos, no vale la pena comer. La carne, curry era de consistencia aguada y sin sabor, como el pollo chino con soja - la salsa era tan aguachento tenía sólo un rojo estaban claramente grisáceas en vez de completamente red gruesa y de coherencia con un poco de sabor. ¡Qué decepción total - no hace falta decir que es el último que le he pedido de allí!.

Me gusta mucho el Dragón para llevar. Estoy a veces en Portreath para negocios y estancia en el cobre casa, que está justo al final de la calle y muy recomendable. La comida en el Dragon es genial, uno de los tipo de travesuras se sentirá Concédete cuando estás lejos de casa.

Visited the Dragon Spring for a few months now..the takeaways are the best we have ever had,,always freshly cooked and prepared , always hot , and stiil hot when you get home. An outstanding takeaway and simply the best in the west
