The best restaurants serving Chinese food in West Midlands

The place has changed name. The food was poor. In fact starters looked like something you would buy from Iceland! The mains were slightly better but still not great. It used to be lovely so I’m presuming different people as they have had a name change. The place stunk of fat too.

4th visit this year, cant fault any of the meals we have had. Very welcoming staff. Meals have included special curry, sweet n sour chicken, beef in black bean sauce, chow mein, fried rice.

3rd order in a row wrong again to be told I didn’t order it no I did you just didn’t write it down properly 😡 been coming here since they opened not a happy customer

This restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever had the service is always quick and great, the food there was amazing. Very good quality and friendly staff.

Love this restaurant, we go there quite often. Would recommend the Taiwanese sausage or the Dolsot Bibimbap.

If you are reading the reviews to decide whether you should order from Hung's Kitchen, I would stop now and pick up the phone to literally any other establishment in Malvern..our usual favourite being the Star. Usually a mix up of an order doesn't warrant getting angry about, I only hoped this would be the case when ringing up, when this happened with our takeaway we collected. I think with even the bare minimum customer service skills, most can usually rectify a mistake without raising their voice and trying to blame the customer. You only have to scroll down below to another review about another order getting mixed up, I don't think it helps there are two different menus on the website offering the same items but both at different codes? surely it's more hassle for them as a company to run a business like this. You can take this review as someone being petty or unfair, I'm sure the owner will give a mediocre response as per the other reviews, wishing us well and telling us not to return perhaps, trust me we don't need to be asked twice.

Telephoned order through at 6.25 pm & was told that it would take 15- 20 mins for order to be ready. Order was not ready when I went to collect at 6.40 pm & was still waiting for order at 7pm. Politely asked why the delay as customers were placing orders at the counter & receiving theirs before me. Was told they were just doing mine & apologised. Think they had forgot to do my order. Eventually received my order at 7.10 pm a wait time of 45 mins. Was not happy. Would have been quicker to request a delivery from another Chinese which I will do in the future.

Awful customer service bag split half way down the road food all over the floor and was told not their problem! Won’t be using again.

We have been coming here as a family for a long time. We are pleased with the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly service. They are always happy to see us and remember our names. We always get the salt and chilli prawns and the sweet and sour chicken (Cantonese style). We also love their curry sauce as it is too thin and watery and has lots of flavour.

Never been delivered…. 2 hours later…. Apparently busy. Been told twice it’s cooking now…. Should be there in 5 Refund pending

It’s just basic, set meals are either full of rice or noodles as it’s cheap tastes ok but nothing special at all , also take you overcoat as it’s freezing in there dusty and dated , it’s rubbish to be honest but better than nothing I suppose

No se recomienda este mero servicio de comida para llevar verde. Las ranuras para la recolección son una pérdida de tiempo. Esperamos 45 minutos después de nuestra hora para nuestra comida. Solo dos jóvenes, de guardia haciendo malabares cocinando, respondiendo llamadas, tomando órdenes de Just Eat y órdenes de empacar. La comida estaba fría. El dueño de este negocio debe avergonzarse del servicio más allá de lo malo. Sentí pena por los 2 jóvenes que luchan en un entorno estresante. Nunca más usaremos este servicio.

Special curry with rice and spring rolls . Spring rolls crispy and no grease the bite was clean and soooo tasty. Curry was tasty not too hot but a kick the meat was tender not loads of onion like other places. The rice was spot on Delivery guy was friendly and on time very good service all round.

The worst takeaway EVER!! Please dont waste your money. I had Special fried rice. The beef was so tough and tasteless , not even my dogs would eat it. It was watery and full of chunks of onion with little chicken and nothing else. There was certainly nothing 'special ' about it .

An excellent takeaway meal for both of us. Lovely and hot and very fresh.very polite delivery man. Thank you. Chicken curry and boiled rice and special chow mein and a large pancake roll. All delicious
