Nicest oatcakes I’ve had in a good while as a local never knew it was there food was gorgeous totally spotless parking is a struggle but a few hundred yard walk would be well worth the end product knocks spots off the bigger names and will defo be making it my number1 go to brekkie place make it yours 👍🏻👍🏻
This is the second time we've visited this restaurant. It's excellent. A restaurant with AUTHENTIC food ..a real hidden gem . We love it. Do try the dossa, you'll love them...and totally unique.
Absolutely love this establishment.Definitely worth a visit. Fairly close to the Railway station on the way to Coventry City Centre ( just look for Trigger the horse metal Sculpture) A lovely ambiance in quite a long room but still has a cozy feel to it with sofas and gentle background music.Great in the summer too as it has small patio area at the back with parasols giving it a genuine holiday feeling. Amazing food with a good and varied menu which is well presented and freshly cooked. Katie & Magdalena always have a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble for them. An extensive choice of bottled beers, spirits and cocktails, reasonably priced.Table service is encouraged which makes it a very relaxed place to be with friends and cannot wait to go back again.Best place in Cov
Love Cinnamon buns so had to try the Babas given the fantastic reviews. Unique to have a bakery in a Garden Centre and the bread looked amazing, unfortunately the Cinnamon Rolls were too sweet for our liked but super soft.
Perhaps try some bread next time?
I have dined at many of the Indian restaurants in Redditch with most being average at best. Last night we stumbled across this one.
The waiter was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
He laughed and joked with us and suggested we try a couple of dishes.
We took his advice and had the most amazing Royal Tawa dish. The flavours were fantastic.
We will definitely be going back soon and I think The Candle Night will now be our go to Indian in Redditch.

We were really excited when we saw that a food van was coming to Herbert’s Yard that does orange chips, even better when we saw that it was Indian inspired.
We were really disappointed though. The chips literally aren’t battered at all and the pakora just tasted like standard cod bites. Disappointing.
EDIT:
After being invited to try the West Mids Chip Van again, I honestly can't believe the difference.
I must have caught them at a bad time before because the difference was night and day.
The chips were delicious and crispy, and the fish pakora was beautifully spiced, fresh and delicate.
The staff were great and explained that sometimes it happens but if you let them know, they will be happy to sort you out.
We had 2 portions and we both left feeling like it was on of the best meals we've ever had at Herbert's Yard.
We will definitely be back the next time they are in town!
