Never been delivered…. 2 hours later…. Apparently busy. Been told twice it’s cooking now…. Should be there in 5 Refund pending

Ordered a take away for delivery. Delivery was as advised. The food was excellent, plenty of it, hot and tasty. Did have an item we had not ordered (but not charged for) and rang to advise. However could not get them to understand so kept it. Overall a good meal.

If I could leave minus stars I would. Ordered a delivery to my caravan for 8pm on a Saturday night. I received a phone call at 8.30pm from a very rude delivery driver telling me he wish outside the site office and I should go and collect from him. This wouldn’t normally be a problem for most people , my problem was my disability, the driver was informed of the problem and told that I could see him from my decking and told him to turn left I was 100 yards from him. The driver screamed at me telling me too many caravans he can’t find even though he was clearly in sight of my caravan. He insisted I go fetch the food. When I pointed out that my bill included a £1.50 delivery charge he continued to scream at me to go collect the food. I have never known such terrible service from a takeaway. So the upshot was he wouldn’t deliver, I couldn’t collect from him so he drove away. Thankfully I had chosen the pay cash on delivery option, if I hadn’t I would have ended up paying for a delivery that they wouldn’t deliver. I called the restaurant to complain about the total lack of compassion & service only to have the phone slammed down on me. Stay well away from this awful place.

Always ordered from other Chinese takeouts in town, was recommended here, ordered on App so no waiting on the phone, delivered within an hour which is very good on Saturday evening. Food was really enjoyable, hot and flavoursome. Will be recommending!! Thank you

The only decent thing about this meal was the delivery time. The beef was slimy in the curry. Crispy chicken wings tasted as though cooked in stale oil. Husband tried peking chicken wings which admittedly he had not tried before but they went in the bin with remains of food not eaten. Sorry if this sounds harsh but not impressed

Have used this takeaway twice in the last month whilst staying at our nearby caravan site and the first time I ordered food for my wife and I, but when I got back after collecting it at the main gate my order was missing.The second time I ordered the delivery driver called me to say he was leaving now so I left to meet him because we would of arrived at the main gate about the same time but half way there I got another call with the driver shouting “Canaan delivery hurry up, hurry up” then put the phone down.I felt the need to put this gentleman politely in his place but when I got back both of our orders were wrong, tasty but wrong.Don’t think I will use again

We have had several meals from this take away during lockdown and have all tasted good. However, the last twice the food has arrived 15-20 mins BEFORE requested time - we weren't ready and the last time my husband hadn't even got back home. I know people complain about food being late, but it's difficult to keep it hot if it's too early - that's the point of requesting a specific time! Also the last twice one of the meals didn't look anything like the meal we had ordered (Szenchuan Special). The first time I just thought it was a mix-up, but twice is not acceptable.

Absolutely horrible attitudes in this place - ordered food through website for 18:30 at 16:30 in the afternoon and it literally came straight away! When I tried to explain the delivery man shouted at me, when I called to complain the woman on the phone shouted at me saying I should have put it in the message box! There was a drop down menu which I selected my time from - they insisted I had selected "asap" when I know full well I chose the time based on when my family would be home - I definitely chose the time and when I raised that there may be a problem with their website the woman just talked over me saying "no no no no" I would not be writing reviews like this if i wasnt absolutely sure I had set the delivery time properly! I am fuming with the way I have been spoken too as a woman home alone!

Food delivered hot. Large portions and lots of meat in the meat dishes. Very enjoyable. Now a small delivery charge. Have knocked a star off as half an hour late with delivery.

Simple to order on their website, we had to pay a little extra delivery, because we live in Bewdley, but when the food arrived it was amazing, excellent value and really tasty, will definitely be ordering again.

We just had a takeaway from this restaurant and the food was amazing!! Service was good considering how busy they are on a Saturday night and we will definitely be ordering from here again!! Well impressed!!

Quick last minute birthday trip away and we ended up in here, food was quick hot and delicious, service was prompt and friendly, maybe offer a steak for an option as my wife is a VERY fussy eater. She had just chips (only herself to blame ;)

got a meal here 3 months back,i was working in the area,local lad told me not to go here but i was passing and popped in for a chicken curry, i thought the meal was good value tasted great and plenty of it,dont know why some of the locals don,t like it here.

You may have reservations about this given it's location and lackluster shop front. Don't be put off, we the prawn curry and the chicken in black bean last night and both were delicious. I ordered the dishes for 5:30, and the driver turned up at 5:35. The curry sauce was just the right consistency, and my partner's black bean sauce had chili in it, which was a very interesting slant on what standard take aways pump out. I would definitely recommend Canaan's business if you are in the area and need something quick. He cooks his food to a high standard and runs his business well.

I have just had a very good take away from Canaan. The spare ribs were plentiful with peking the sauce.

Everytime weve had a meal from here its been tops. Always happy to alter things for you if you require changes to your meal. Very friendly and always a good meal.

Big portions of delicious food, that arrived quickly and hot. Lots of choice on their menu. Got a free bag of prawn crackers. Nothing to complain about.

Been a while since had a takeaway from Canaan but don't know why as it was excellent again. Had home delivery and arrived quickly.Arrived hot and tasty with generous portions and complimentary crackers. A enjoyable meal for us at home and leftovers for later! Very good value.

18 years and a thousand delivered meals later, we still think Canaan is great quality and value! This evening's meal (King Prawn Fried Rice, Barbecue Spare Rib, Dim Sum, Extra Vegetables, Prawn Crackers) was, as always, perfection - piping hot (delivered within 15 minutes), more than enough for two and delivered to our door for £14.20 Inc. They deliver within a 3-mile radius. Highly recommended.

We always have Chinese curry great value. They will take orders on the pone and also deliver, never had a bad meal here.

This was our first visit to this takeaway, chose our food 5 mins later it was ready, a bit too fast for freshly cooked food. portions were smaller than we are used to.

First experience with this takeaway and pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, tasty. and ready in 15 minutes. I was apprehensive at first because of some of the older reviews but the portions were large and they cooked it right, not overly salty or with that MSG stuff. Yeah will come back

The Canaan went through a dodgy patch a short while ago, food was not great, but recently it has had a revival on quality and at the moment I find it to be a good choice for an average well cooked takeaway

we have had a few takeaways, both collection and delivery from here and have been really surprised. Our usual takeaway was closed to thought we would give it a try and very glad we did, good quality food, quick delivery time and reasonably priced.

Ordered over phone for home delivery. This was delivered quicker than expected and food was excellent, hot and good sized portions. Sweet and sour chicken especially enjoyed by me.

I've been using this takeaway for many years, previously as the Shun Loy, but now as Canaan. The staff are friendly, patient and quick to deliver.

Food is generally good, but there is often a long wait (although this does show how popular it is)... be great if they were on hungryhouse or justeat to be able to order online, would use it more.

Great take away. Really tasty good food at good prices and good selection. We always have a delivery for £1 and its very efficient and fast. The food is always hot too and delivery people are very friendly.

Came here to get takeaway for valentines night. We came from Tenbury Wells as the one by us is not the best so we traveled that long to get this Chinese as I got to say it was the best Chinese food I'v ever had. The food was lovely and hot by the time we got home.

I've been using Canaan (I know - not the best name for a Chinese takeaway) for 15 years - I've bought hundreds of meals from them. They deliver to your door within a 3 mile radius - so fast that you can hardly get your plates warm! Our favourites are Chicken Chop Suey and Crispy Roast Duck with Plum Sauce - amazingly consistent and great value for money.
