The meals were hot and delicious, friendly staff and short wait. We had the meals here and we never regret coming here. Keep up the good work!

Service was really nice, smiley lady... but the quality of food - taste, look, texture... Just wasn't great I'm sorry. Especially the prawns just didn't look at taste appealing at all. Unfortunately there's much better takeaways in town. Won't be ordering again...

I quite often have takeaways from Hong Kong Garden. The service is quick and efficient with touch card payment, the food is delicious and the menu covers an enormous range of dishes. In my view it is the very best Chinese takeaway in Kenilworth and I have tried them all.

There was a change of ownership fairly recently but the quality of all the dishes we normally order hasn't changed at all! Great choice of dishes and a variety of options make HKG a very safe choice for most.

Has changed hands this year. Prices have gone up which given inflation is not surprising. However food is not as good oily chicken fried rice was passable but nowhere near as good as before or other takeaways. Unfortunately the prices are higher than other takeaways serving better food. Result I will be using nearby alternatives more often from now on.

First time using as it’s our local Chinese takeaway, wasn’t overly satisfied or disappointed, food was ok, chow mein and rice both lacked flavour, I’ve definitely had better. The girl who took my order over the phone didn’t really have good customer service skills either. She answered so quietly saying ‘hello’ I thought I was speaking to a child at first. Probably won’t return, definitely more better ones in town.

Not really a proper Chinese as the food tastes bland and quite possibly reheated but it's fine for a hangover or a quick cheap take out. Quite disappointed it's cash only. 21st century and no card/contactless payments accepted? What's that all about. I can understand if they have a minimum spend amount as card terminal providers charge for each card transaction but HKG are stuck in the ice age.

This used to be our favourite takeaway in Kenilworth, last 3 meals there not so good. Found out it changed hands in May and nothing is as good as the previous owners. Last month order completely wrong, tonight the omelettes were overcooked, burned and like a pile of congealed eggs with hardly any vegetables, prawns or meat in there, ended up binning the meal, won't be ordering again. Bring back the previous owners.

This is a super takeaway! Ordered from here last week and all I can say is the food was delicious. Had a couple of days away from home and saw this little gem, tried it and I can’t complain! Food tasted great, customer service was amazing (especially as I’m a little picky with some foods) they catered to my preferences, and I can’t fault them at all, lovely people too. Would definitely recommend, and when I’m back in the area I will definitely be coming back, thankyou so much!

Very bland food that tasted gone off. We rang up to speak to someone after not being able to eat it and they shouted and argued down the phone being very defensive and made us take the food back to them. They then argued in front of their other customers (even asking them to taste it for them!) for quarter of an hour until they finally refunded only half of the food. At least we got some exercise going back and forth to the shop instead of slobbing out eating a takeaway. Silver lining and all that

The set menu for four is excellent value and lovely food. We have used Hong Kong Gardens 3 times this year and the food is always good quality, value and ready quickly. We have tried other local Chinese restaurants and non have beat them for value and flavour.

Advertised as CRISPY chilli beef there is nothing crispy about it! It's like soggy tissue with no chillies in and the sweet and sour chicken was just like eating pineapple and when we phoned the woman was so rude and said nobody has ever complains about their food..... STAY AWAY FROM HERE unless you like poor Chinese food

Ordered crispy chicken and it was soggy so they said next time we order we could have that meal for free, ordered today and they refused to give us that meal for free, saying no-one has ever complained before, which I find that hard to believe, I also ordered a vegetable foo yung which only had mushrooms, so I asked for carrots and broccoli and they wanted to charge an extra pound for putting vegetables in a vegetable dish, when I told they I wasn't happy and wanted to cancel the order they just put the phone down on me, there customer service is none existent, I'll not order from there again

Awful tasting food, zero customer service. We had a takeaway from here a few months back and we weren't too impressed, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and as its our nearest Chinese takeaway to home we tried them for a second time recently and again, foul, awful tasting food. I would usually just leave the food and not bother going back again however it tasted so off that i put it back in its box and returned it. The person serving that night tasted it themselves and said they couldn't taste anything wrong with it (of course they would say that), and refused to give a refund. It was only a tenner but more for principle on my part. My tip - go to Kenilworth Cantonese in the High Street, i won't be so lazy next time and drive the extra five minutes, definitely worth it!

Thought we'd try a takeaway from here as it had some good reviews on here and google. The food we got was totally inedible. The fried rice was dry and tough, the duck in our dishes was very poor quality, and the cantonese sauce was horribly sweet. We normally go to The Full House for a Chinese in Kenilworth, really frustrated that we thought we'd try something different. We won't be getting a takeaway from here again, there are much better options in town.

Got takeaway from here. It was the only Chinese place open at the time everywhere was closed and my favourite place away on holiday. Singapore chow mein. Terrible. Noodles were very similar to the nests of noodles you can buy from Sainsbury. Absolutely no spice and a pool of soy sauce at the bottom of the noodles. I could fill a cup with it! The chicken balls were a strange shape. 90% batter 10% chicken. Rock hard and not good at all. Less said about the rest the better. Such a shame. Will not be ordering here again. I could have made better Chinese food at home with an online recipe.

Food shocking pork balls salty, chicken chow mein plain very large spongey chunks of chicken, egg fried rice just about edable and to top it off the sweet and sour sauce was spilt all in the bag over the food rang up and staff was rude but at least got a full refund

This is our nearest take away which probably is why they are so friendly, as we use it often. The quality of the food is consistent. Generous portions and very good value for money. Meal for 4 has often fed 6 of us with leftovers. They deliver too.

Pleasant and polite service and the food is always piping hot! We started using HKG because nobody in our house likes overpowering seasoning like pepper and garlic, we got fed up that most Chinese takeaways started adding these without asking and every request not to add these was ignored.HKG is really tasty without overpowering seasoning and dreaded msg! Just good and tasty, reasonably priced Chinese food. We're. Glad we found them!
