Ruby Chinese Takeaway in Warwick

3 hours for delivery. No communication Rang twice to chase delivery and Chinese person passes over to English lady to provide update. Simply can’t cope with the amount of orders. Always been the same, the drivers just laugh and agree that the owners are terrible. This take away in the best in the town anymore and will soon lose its appeal to the others locally which are better. Rude staff, drivers as bad. Won’t be using again

Ruby has been our local Chinese takeaway for a good few years now! We have a takeaway every Friday night. The food is delicious and the staff are super friendly and always welcoming. Thoroughly recommend!!

Excellent food, but if you want delivery, order well in advance. Delivery on Saturdays in particular is often 2 hours, and we have waited as long as 3 hours. I only put up with it because no other Chinese restaurant delivers food of this quality. And tonight was another 3 hour wait. It is a pity that good food is ruined by poorly organised delivery system. I think tonight has been our final order.

A great take away, quality of food always excellent. Lady on til is always super friendly and helpful. N.B. They do get very busy so worth ordering over phone or on the app. Please don’t be the person who kicks off (which some do) if your food takes ten minutes longer than expected…… good food takes time and if you can’t spare the extra time there’s always McDonalds a 2 minute drive away !!

Tried for the 1st time was shocked they delivered to us 24 mins away- the food was absolutely incredible so tasty & when arrived was boiling hot can recommend enough thank you so much highly recommend:)

Been using Ruby for years and we used to have delivery the 2 times we were told an hour wait I said ok. Chased half an hour later and the girl on the phone said we are short staffed don’t when we will deliver. Ok so we came and collected but no apology or explanation. Went in yesterday and paid at the counter same girl rudely shouts out did you pay? I said yes and then she asks the other girl behind the counter did she pay? I was horrified after years of being with Ruby loyalty means nothing. We will be using pawpaw. Awful service.

I love the food here. Been eating at this takeaway since I moved to the chase meadow. Lovely food and lovely service. The couple who run it are very friendly wouldn't order from anywhere else. Best Chinese ever.

ordered my chinese at 5:50pm and it’s not 8pm and it’s not here. absolutely ridiculous for a takeaway! dreadful service and will not be ordering again. extremely disappointed

Very slow, said 45mins but was well over 2 hours!! Could be busy; but there wa no explanation. Other people in the party went elsewhere.

If I can give them 10⭐️, I would. I’m Ordering from them for the last 11 years. I’ve moved from Warwick 7years ago but I’m still coming a few times per month to order take aways . The best Chinese ever.

Ordered our takeaway to be delivered to our boat. Excellent service over the phone when taking our order and to get our delivery address right. Phone call when the delivery driver arrived at the locked gate, so I could collect our meal. Food fabulous. Really beautifully cooked and tasted fabulous. Definitely using Ruby again.

Requested NO CHICKEN in my meal for the takeaway, yet ended up with 7 pieces, it was a special curry, so once all this was taken out not much of anything else left. The point of a note for the kitchen is to advise of requests or allergies, obviously it was not read!

Amazing and fresh food always !!! I ordered many dishes for my work group and they all arrived hot and at the agreed time 🍀.

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant we ever had. Every dish we had was superb! We drive from London every special occassion just to eat out there in Ruby's @ Warwick. We had Hutong's in Singapore and this is Ruby's is so much tastier and better. Food is affordable compared to many Chinese restaurants. Food portion is better big enough. Lovely friendly staff. Clean place and uiet enough to enjoy a conversation. Waiting time is good. Can't complain. Thank you Ruby's! We will be back soon ❤️

The best food (not just Chinese) service and delivery you could ask for!! We have used Ruby for over 10 years and they never fail to deliver the best quality food. Our family from the north of England won't even go out for a meal when they visit until they have had their Ruby take away!! The only thing i regret is not leaving this review until now!! We use Ruby so much everything from dinner for two, family or party banquets and the best part is they value your custom! Always so helpful and you can collect loyalty points which is fantastic!! We dropped in here on the way North on the M40 on holiday, thinking Warwick should have somewhere nice to get food, and Ruby was so good we went back a week later on the journey back South. Delicious food (esp. chicken omelette) and super friendly staff. They were attentive to our special diet requests and substituted chips with rice. Free prawn crackers too as we ordered for 4 of us! If we go up the M40 again we will make sure to go here again, it's just a few mins from the motorway.

I had a bad experience with Chinese food in the past, but this one is the best by far. Some time’s food is late, but they are such a busy restaurant you expect it at time. But it shows how busy it gets how good the food is, I have spoke to people in there the food is freshly cooked for each person. The only thing made in bulk is the sauces, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the good work staff, don’t let the haters bring you down. There is plenty more Chinese they can use, but the quality won’t be the same.

Going downhill fast. Too busy for the amount of staff Quality of food is getting worse. The delivery drivers, well I wouldn’t even employ them to walk my dog. Rude and brain dead Loud and just rude.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time from here. Swimming in grease and fat and was clearly rushed. I ordered salt and pepper chips. I wasn’t expecting to get soggy chips warmed up from two days ago. Will definitely think twice about ordering again unfortunately

Makes me wonder if any of you have any taste buds Had a take out it was most appalling I probably wouldn't have served it to my dog or was that set and certainly not fresh! You only need to look at how unclean the front is and untidy it probably tells you what the kitchen is like.

First time we have used Ruby's as we live in Wellesbourne. But so glad we have found this little gem, it was so so good, couldn't fault it. Will be using again for sure.

2hr wait for food after saying 15 minutes. Charged the wrong price. note the 'Ask for delivery costs'. Go to the great wall or happy garden.

2 hours late for delivery, rang 3 times to chase it, lady was rude on the phone, when I suggested they should ring their customers if they are going to be so late. Food arrived stone cold, and not all of the order was delivered. Not good enough!

Absolutely disgraceful. Ordered a takeaway at 7 to be told delivery would be 8.20. That would have been fine but rang back at 8.40 to be told they had a technical issue and couldn’t say when we would get it. Not happy.

We’ve been getting deliveries from Paw Paw in Warwick for years and they decided to stop delivering to us. We saw the adverts on social media for Ruby and thought we’d give it a go. So glad we did as it’s far better than Paw Paw. The salt and pepper squid is not dry and the food in general isn’t greasy. Really flavoursome. Exactly what you’d want from a Chinese delivery. Can’t thank Ruby enough for delivering our way! We will definitely be ordering again 😊

We had ordered a delivery to Stratford upon avon Lodge retreat, arrived just outside delivery time, piping hot and great food, would recommend.

# Salt & Pepper Ribs Tasty and plentiful # Special FuYung Disappointing, minimal meat and bland. Chips with FuYung had to be bought separately. Not very nice. Given wrong change £1 short. Should of been £13.60 given £5.40 change. Wouldnt visit again but I'm not from Warwick.

Wow what a service!!!! I failed to update my address on their app when ordering. I phoned to say where is my food, recognised my error and they cooked the food again and delivered to new address. Exceptional!!

The best Chinese takeaway around Warwick/Leam we have found. Nice flavours. Massive portions and nice large spring rolls. Always give us prawn crackers and usually on time with delivery. Always open and better than PawPaw. Top marks to them. Will take a lot to move us to another Chinese takeaway!!

Waiting for the for hour. And when it came it wasn't all there, so i phoned back up and they said, sorry ,we will bring the rest of food round in an hour. So all food cold thankyou very much for nothing RUBY

Always look forward to a Chinese takeaway and almost always disappointed. This was no exception ! The Singapore noodles were made with curry paste or pesto like texture, it was awful.

The food is great, but service on my last few visits has been very poor, on both occasions I have turned up on time as requested to be met with a long over 20 minute wait for my food. It has been clear my order was only given to the kitchen when I arrived. This isnt great and I know I was not the only person this has been the case for.

It's an OK Chinese takeaway. Not particularly impressed by the service, food was good but I've had better.... and worse.... 🙄. Would eat here again if local competitors were no better.
