We are staying in the area for the weekend and picked this takeaway for our evening meal. The food and service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again if up this way.

Steer clear of this takeaway. Last time we ordered food from there the man got my mums order wrong and then was rude and shouted at her saying that she ordered beansprouts not noodles. I wrote a bad review because she had a bad service. My mum wanted to give them another go tonight. I rang them to put the order in and the guy blackmailed me and said if u want to order food you can but you have to take the bad review down that u wrote last time. He actually blackmailed us and we have been going to them for a while now. Blackmailing shows what kind of person this is. He was okay to serve us the food but only if we took our review down. That's not how that works. You give a bad service you get a bad review. My advice is find somewhere else. Disgusting rude staff second time round.

I'm absolutely appalled at the rudeness of a member of staff that my mum has to deal with tonight. My mum ordered soft noodles with beansprouts, and the man taking the orders got her order wrong and sent beansprouts and onions. I know for a fact my mum said soft noodles because I was sat next to her, and she wouldn't say onions because she doesn't eat them. My mum rang up to have noodles sent and the man was extremely rude and shouted down the phone so fast she couldn't understand what was being said. We want an apology from you. Absolutely disgusting to treat your paying customers like that and we use you all the time. You got the order wrong full stop. How dare you shout at my mum down the phone when you were the one who got it wrong. It's not the first time. Twice when we have ordered you forgot to send the can of coke that was paid for, and even had the cheek to ask me if I can get it next time. Make sure you have your listening ears on when you take people's orders. It will save you a lot of trouble. Also, mind your manners when you are speaking to customers or you will be reported to trading standards. Does that picture look like soft noodles to you????? No!!!! This is not what she ordered. You can't get someone's order wrong and then get angry at them for complaining. You should apologise and send the correct order. We won't be using you again because of how you managed the situation. Disgusting. You have lost yourself 2 valued customers.

My wife is a lot older than me and did a lot of voluntary and missionary work with her first husband reg . I’m husband number 4 . She has eaten her way round the world and if she don’t like it then you’re gonna hear it probably for at least three days. It was great therefore that her chilli beef was subject of praise to the heavens . For my part as designated driver to pick it up while she ploughed through the sauvignon I must just say they were very welcome and they threw in prawn crackers. Threw them in the bag not at me. I would revisit this takeaway if doing a house clearance in that area of the West Midlands in the future. Yes i would.

We had spring rolls, pancakes, sweet and sour, beef with green peppers and noodles. All very tasty, not too much salt, all fresh and plenty of vegetables. Great value and maybe the portions are too big. Thanks

This has got to be the best take away in kenilworth. Staff are excellent and very good . Top class food and service at all times. I would definitely recommend The Mulan. 👌

Ordered a chicken curry round container £6.80. Went to pick up and found out they don’t take card. Tried one ATM not working so went home and had toasted cheese. Nothing on website or menu about cards but they phoned me saying they had my chicken curry. Said that there is a minimum on cards but didn’t say that when tried to collect. Sorry but in these cashless days where everyone takes cards whatever the amount, even beggars and buskers what planet are they on? So they have one chicken curry not collected just hope that they don’t slip it into somebody else’s order!

When we fancy a take away we always call mulan, they are very friendly and their menu has a wide range of meals. Can be pricey if you are ordering for the whole family but for a treat it is totally worth it. The chicken with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts Is my favourite and my sons love their curries.

Ordered for the first time from Mulan and we were delighted with the prompt delivery and excellent food. Thoroughly enjoyed every last bit of food (even had to dip back into the leftovers for a midnight snack!). Online ordered was quick and easy, could choose when it was delivered (and it was delivered on time) for a small fee. Excellent value for money; ordered from here as couldn't get through on the phone to our usual takeaway and it was less expensive even though we succumbed to the extra portion of S&S chicken balls ;-)

After walking through town looking for somewhere to get a quick bite we though we might get to the Chinese in time but was closed at 11 and we had just missed it but the guy was happy to open back up for us to get something to eat and we were really happy with great food and service would definitely recommend

We have used this restaurant a lot over the years but hadn’t been for quite a while. Our table was booked for 7pm. The decor is looking very drab and tired, the entrance in particular, and a refresh is urgently required. In the past waiting staff were attentive and would enquire as to how the meal was…..not on this visit. A small point I agree but indicates non-interest. The adjacent table housed 5 adults and 4 children aged around 4/5 years. Initially the children had toys to occupy them. Good plan perhaps but then one of the mothers started to join in with her own sound effects…not so good. During the meal the children started going “walkabouts” causing a couple of near misses with waiting staff, all to the accompaniment of squeaky kiddy voices. There were other tables with youngish children, also not really interested in the food, and it was just like being in a crèche. Not blaming the staff but why do parents think that it’s a good idea to bring their tiny tots who, get overtired, to such an establishment when they should clearly be in bed. The whole ambience was ruined for us. FOR THAT REASON I HAVE RATED DOWN BUT THE FOOD IS STILL 4/5 *
