The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South West

Took payment over the phone last night waited till just gone closing time tried ringing them no answer and they didn’t answer so paid got no food and placed the order about and hr and 15 before closing easily enough time to get that to us so complete pisstake if you ask me

Great food, I recommend the egg fried rice. Lovely staff and food always warm it’s also got a wide variety on the menu a bit for everyone definitely worth a try.

Jackie's was our favourite Chinese spot, always fresh and full of flavour. We went last night and the shop was empty but thought maybe it's because it's a Sunday night. We got home and the egg fried rice and chow mein tasted burnt. We called up the Chinese and returned to get a replacement. Older lady ripped into us as we did not return bad food although person on the phone said we didn't need too. Got home and the food was exactly the same, burnt. Two chefs in the kitchen older man and women who have cooked every time before and been incredible. The chicken balls were tough and could barely chew them. Sweet and sour sauce was good. After years of eating here, we will never be returning again.

Disgusting, filthy kitchen. This place should be closed down. The food may taste ok but if you could see behind the scenes you would never eat here again. Frozen food reheated and left out all day and night. Food hygiene rating of 1 a few years ago.

Boy oh boy did i chow at Chans. Food gorgeous. Lovely staff and free prawn crackers?! Everything a growing girl needs.

My moms shop is great! I love it! She gives me free food. Literally. I tried the beef curry, the chicken ball, the chips, the nuggets and if I choose something out of 10 I would choose 10 out of 10 for everything!

Liked the food here .On a number of occasions was missing half of salt and pepper chicken portion on last occasion the curry sauce was like water so I’m done with this one

Just finished my last ever takeaway from the Hong Kong Chef as its Sam and Pauline's last day today after serving great Chinese fare for the last 41 years in Braunton. Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken was so overcooked I could not eat it. Chips were like bullets because of being again overcooked.

Food bland. I had a lot of water in mine & my bbq sauce was thin & tasteless except for salt. Would not recommend.

It is the worst rated Chinese takeaway in town, but I have to say some food that I had was actually pretty good and authentic. Good: egg foo young and chow mein. The meat was tender and juicy. Eggs were fluffy. Noodles were thin, crinkly, and saucy. Bad: fried chicken wings and fried rice.

have been looking for a amazing quality close by Chinese takeaway place, and this is the one!! such a fantastic place!! quick delivery! ordered the 2 person chicken balls, fried rice and beef mushrooms with black bean sauce and roasted pork chop suey! amazing food quality and pipping hot when arrived nothing undercooked, everything was perfectly cooked, the chicken balls where perfect juicy and delicious! everything was great!!! yummy! will order again soon!! definitely recommend!
