Jackie Chan Takeaway in Bath and North East Somerset

Food is nice but way over priced! £25 for 2 main dishes, 1 side, prawn crackers and 2 cans. Everywhere else would have only cost £17-£18

Ordered the Jackie Chan fried rice.ZERO king prawn in my meal that's the only reason I ordered it.The food is bland zero flavour .Prawn crackers are also the worst I've tasted overcooked and tasteless. Never ordering from here again.

Been using this place for quite some time.We had a long day so decided to order for the family.I had Jackie chan fried rice and to my horror they forgot to put any king prawn in my meal. That's the only reason I ordered it.The meal was bland no flavour at all.the prawn crackers were well below par overcooked and tasteless also.I will be using another takeaway from now on.

Amazing food! Just perfect, but service could be better

Egg fried rice burnt and tasted horrible. Couldn't eat. Spring rolls were OK but would go back. Would not recommend unfortunately.

Never had bad food from down here however ordered food here tonight and took about 3 mouthfuls, the crispy chilli beef was stone cold, the chow mein tasted burnt. The rice was cold too. We called them to complain and they wouldn’t do anything about it and tried telling us that it wasn’t cold… even though we had ordered here a week before and it was really good, it was all really hot. Just a shame about this time and the fact we called them to say too and nothing was done. We certainly won’t be going back.

The best chinese in town! Had several times and never disappointed. The chicken satay is amazing, so is the sweet amd sour pork. The crispy shredded beef, roast pork chow mein and the roast pork chop suey are all favourites and delicious!

In 40+ years of eating Chinese takeaway, this was the worst. The quarter duck was 1/8th of a duck. The chow mein beef was VERY dry and VERY tough, the black bean sauce was far too thin, the egg fried rice had far too much soy added and it smelt odd. These doors will never see me again, terrible.

We have been using this takeaway for over 20 years, it's always been fantastic. Last night we got the wrong food on a delivery, the women on the phone said its tough and shouted at me. The food was disgusting and burnt anyhow. They must have new very bad owners. Avoid at all costs Food: 1/5

Food has always been hot and tasty

Delivered in good time, the delivery lady was nice and friendly. Food was hot and protected properly. I loved the dumplings and won ton soup, so so good! Dumplings were juicy and tasted really nice. Broth of the soup was flavourful, many veggies and won tons in there. My bf got chicken noodle soup and was very happy with it too, he said it was delicious. I gave him my dumpling to try and he said it was lovely. Definitely the best Chinese I’ve had so far in Radstock. Definitely will be back and will recommend.

I was introduced to JACKIE CHAN almost three years ago and have frequently used them and always found them to be friendly and good value of money. Chinese takeaway. This Sunday was the first time I've ordered this year.... What has gone wrong? I order at half six on Friday evening and was told it would be an hour....three hours later. Serval phone calls and the owner screaming at me down the phone, the order arrived. The only decent thing about JACKI CHAN was the delivery driving. The food was cold and uneatable, I'd go as far to say the food was disgusting. The crown has slipped from a once great establishment with the most appalling customer service littered with lies, aggression and contempt and food that is only suited for the bottom of a bin. It was simply an absolute waste of hard earned money and we will NOT be eating there again. Don't waste your money at this awful takeaway they don't deserve your custome.

After moving to the area 10 years ago. I have tried and retired all of the others locally. And not one matches the taste and the wok hei they achieve at jackie chans. I could eat from here daily and never get bored

Phoned to place an order. He tried to charge me an extra £6 because I wanted prawns instead of chicken... Never normally the case however, he insisted this is standard if paying cash (bit dodgy). I opted to just have it without chicken and no extra prawns. Went to collect.. he was rude and didn't even speak to me. Not even a price. Just put a card machine on the counter and turned around. He was playing with his hair constantly, running his hands through it and scuffing it up. Not great for a food establishment. When I finally got my food home, it was stuffed with chicken, the egg rice was burnt and stuck together and the chicken balls were swimming in oil! Called to resolve it. Was told they could cook it again but would be over an hour but wouldn't offer a refund as it was over 15 minutes since I collected it. Overall, absolutely horrendous service and disgusting attitude. Used to be very good, but the quality here has dropped significantly of late. Needless to say, I won't be visiting again.

Fantastically poor food quality, never had worse Chinese takeaway in my life... Very low on ingredients with poor pallet of taste on both Singapore rice noodles and duck with pineapple meals... Worse out of all of it is that prices on menu is outdated and way lower than actual pricing of their meals

Excellent service and a good selection on the menu. Food was hot and very tasty. The seaweed is perfect! Card payments are taken and you can order in advance over the phone, no delivery options but way enough to pre- order and collect

Ordered meal for delivery, informed it would be 1 hour 15 mins. after 1 hour 40 mins i phoned to check progress to be told it's on way. It toke 2 hours for delivery. food was great until a long hair was found in chow main, like so many other people have reported. All went in bin. Total waste of time and money.

Given wrong order and inedible ribs, refused to do anything about it. I usually go here over a more local Chinese takeaway, but have had to go there anyway to get the food I actually wanted… overall very hit and miss

Curry was not very spiced found it a but bland

Divine food, I had heard so many good reviews from friends I had to check it out! Absolutely wonderful service can't thank them enough. I recommend this place if you have any brains about you only would inters hate it.

Disappointed service . Waiting so long the food to be delivered and is almost everything frozen! I thought I would give another chance but was the last time ! We ended up with our frozen pizza at the end. More clean and faster !

Tried to call and order delivery. They wanted previous address and confidential information. Looks to me like crooked front of house staff. Good food, bad, young, inadequate, front of house staff. Only for collection.!!

Sublime Thai ribs, excellent punchy kunk po pork and generous sweet and sour pork balls. Lovely fresh crunchy vegetables and all delivered early on a busy Saturday night. Faultless.

We stayed outside the town and failed to find a sit down restaurant suitable for our needs. So resorted to a takeaway. This was excellent with good choices and speedy delivery.

Had a gray hair in my bbq sauce and they are doing nothing about it don't order from them they should not even be open

Had the wrong type aswell as uncooked crunchy noodles in my chowmein no bean sprouts and hard uncooked veg this is second time I've had a bad meal in here never again. And I rarely complain to be honest but that was shocking.

I have a friend what work for Jackie Chan Take away and he was treat horrible and when I visit him in kitchen I see very dirty and a lot of food was frozen . I recommend don't eat in this place because is very dirty .

There were two customers ahead of us when we arrived. It seemed to be a few minutes later we were leaving with our order. My wife had sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. The sample I had was exactly that, sweet with enough sour. The portion was generous and very tasty the onions great. I had the duck with oyster sauce. Very generous amount of very tasty duck the bamboo crisp, the sauce great. We shared the mushroom fried rice which was very tasty, the portion we had was too large for us sadly. We enjoyed our meal, as we always do, and will definitely be back

they also wouldn’t let me take the chair after telling me to take a seat, the plants also gave me dirty looks which leaft me feeling dry like their roots, the stickers on the wall also tried to attack me multiple times and no one stopped them, this isn’t the first time they have done this, I get scared every time as I don’t know what they will do next, once my chow mein whispered in my ear telling me I was worthless, not impressed however the food tickled my taste buds

Great Chinese close to where we were staying. The food was lovely and the staff were great especially the young man serving. He was doing a great job of serving and answering the phone.

Very close to where we were staying. We ordered and waited, and only had to wait 10 minutes or so. The staff were great and the food was great. We parked in the Lidl car park up the road as it was free for 90 minutes.

After using the same Chinese for a lifetime I decided to give a different one a try. This one did not disappoint, Great food, reasonable prices and fast service! As Arnie famously once said “I’ll be back”!

Went there with family on New year's Day for lunch . A noticeable lack of staff for such a busy time of year .staff were excellent (not many) food was good , sadly my main course was like warm had to send it back for reheating . O when will restraunts learn to heat plates before serving food on them . Service very slow ,not staffs fault , management problem ??

Ok so only a take away. But a pretty decent one.Having moved across town this has now become my local Chinese take away.Only one slightly below par meal in 5 months.We have a fair selection of the meals and to be fair consistently good tasting food with good size portions. Keep up the good work.

Have eaten a few meals from Jackie Chan's now and they're all very good, the crispy fried chilli beef is particularly good! Only ever collected but been ready in 15/30mins on average. Normal price for a Chinese take away.

Had to go there tonight as our local Chinese was closed for a week or two!! We ordered the usual and it cost us £5.70 more. Chow mein and chicken fried rice only came in one size....large. It was all quite bland and the chow mein didn't have any bean sprouts in. Usually our normal Chinese would give us free prawn crackers if you spend over a tenner. But no such luck with this Chinese. Overall quite disappointing which is a shame as it could have been our new take away!!! Can't wait for our regular take away to be open again. (Chinese in Westfield) 😃

just moved here so thought i would try out some of the takeaways, well what can i say, i ordered some safe simples to start with basic things every Chinese should be able to cook the basics, crispy chilly beef nothing but batter no flavor and the sauce just tasted like syrup, chicken balls ok but again the sauce watery sugar, egg fried rice was fine, would i eat here again no not a chance, But yes the service was friendly you do have to be able to do one thing correctly NOTHING TASTY ABOUT THE FOOD unless you like sugar

Nice assortment of Chinese takeaway food, chicken fried rice was very tasty and not sticky, enjoyed with a curry sauce, nice for a change.

Friendly staff, superb food and the price isn't bad either !! The only complaint is the fact that I've put weight on from going so often :) Maybe a website would be a good idea to show the prices of everything ?

Jackie Chan es un chino muy bueno llevar. Muy práctico en la calle alta, muy fácil de llegar. Siempre es muy concurrida en horas punta, pero no hay que esperar demasiado tiempo. Normalmente antes por teléfono. La comida es excelente y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Surprised to see a few bad reviews here. I've been going to Jackie Chan for years (and previously when it was called the Junk Boat). It's always been good, consistently great food, friendly service. Very quick unless you're ordering during very busy peak times. Never used their delivery though, so can't comment on that.

The food is always great - not greasy, tasty sauces, not too salty tender meat. Have tried all of the local Chinese take away's and Jackie Chan can't be beaten.Service, in my experience has always been speedy and good - I've never got home and discovered I've been given the wrong order. Can get busy as it is popular.Family business which makes it even better.

Poor food, poor staff, poor service. The customer experience is really poor, employees stair at you as you walk in. And are very abrupt taking order, and the food is even worse.

Unfortunately the food wasn't what I expected. We ordered battered prawns. They had too much batter and it wasn't crispy. I also ordered prawn in garlic which I didn't like either. The honey glazed pork ribs and the spring roll where nice.

ok ish takeaway though service was poor as the person serving didnt listen to our order and even when i corrected him still got somthing i did not want and the quality was poor too as chicken in noodles was too oiley and chicken in black bean sauce was rather bland as were the prawn crackers and the bannana fritter had crack in corner of tub so piece was missing exposing it to the air my advice go to oriential sunrise at bottom high street much better quality food

Always polite friendly and fast service the food is always fresh and ready for collection. Definitely recommend to anyone.
