Jackie Chan Takeaway in Bath and North East Somerset

In 40+ years of eating Chinese takeaway, this was the worst. The quarter duck was 1/8th of a duck. The chow mein beef was VERY dry and VERY tough, the black bean sauce was far too thin, the egg fried rice had far too much soy added and it smelt odd. These doors will never see me again, terrible

We have been using this takeaway for over 20 years, it's always been fantastic. Last night we got the wrong food on a delivery, the women on the phone said its tough and shouted at me. The food was disgusting and burnt anyhow. They must have new very bad owners. Avoid at all costs Food: 1/5

I was introduced to JACKIE CHAN almost three years ago and have frequently used them and always found them to be friendly and good value of money. Chinese takeaway. This Sunday was the first time I've ordered this year.... What has gone wrong? I order at half six on Friday evening and was told it would be an hour....three hours later. Serval phone calls and the owner screaming at me down the phone, the order arrived. The only decent thing about JACKI CHAN was the delivery driving. The food was cold and uneatable, I'd go as far to say the food was disgusting. The crown has slipped from a once great establishment with the most appalling customer service littered with lies, aggression and contempt and food that is only suited for the bottom of a bin. It was simply an absolute waste of hard earned money and we will NOT be eating there again. Don't waste your money at this awful takeaway they don't deserve your custome.

Phoned to place an order. He tried to charge me an extra £6 because I wanted prawns instead of chicken... Never normally the case however, he insisted this is standard if paying cash (bit dodgy). I opted to just have it without chicken and no extra prawns. Went to collect.. he was rude and didn't even speak to me. Not even a price. Just put a card machine on the counter and turned around. He was playing with his hair constantly, running his hands through it and scuffing it up. Not great for a food establishment. When I finally got my food home, it was stuffed with chicken, the egg rice was burnt and stuck together and the chicken balls were swimming in oil! Called to resolve it. Was told they could cook it again but would be over an hour but wouldn't offer a refund as it was over 15 minutes since I collected it. Overall, absolutely horrendous service and disgusting attitude. Used to be very good, but the quality here has dropped significantly of late. Needless to say, I won't be visiting again.

Come back time after time. Food excellent. Great service even down to delivery drivers. Hot and delivered on time

Best take away we have had for ages, arrived at the time we asked for all pipping hot. Food was great we have eaten so much. Yum. Will be back

Tried to call and order delivery. They wanted previous address and confidential information. Looks to me like crooked front of house staff. Good food, bad, young, inadequate, front of house staff. Only for collection.!!

Sublime Thai ribs, excellent punchy kunk po pork and generous sweet and sour pork balls. Lovely fresh crunchy vegetables and all delivered early on a busy Saturday night. Faultless.

the spicy chicken is delicious and the waitress was the nicest lady ever and very funny! would recommend to any Chinese lovers

I have ordered several times food is almost always on time or quicker, staff are friendly, the dishes themselves are excellent, I would recommend the dumplings and the beef black bean noodles. Would recommend

We stayed outside the town and failed to find a sit down restaurant suitable for our needs. So resorted to a takeaway. This was excellent with good choices and speedy delivery.

I have a friend what work for Jackie Chan Take away and he was treat horrible and when I visit him in kitchen I see very dirty and a lot of food was frozen . I recommend don't eat in this place because is very dirty .

There were two customers ahead of us when we arrived. It seemed to be a few minutes later we were leaving with our order. My wife had sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. The sample I had was exactly that, sweet with enough sour. The portion was generous and very tasty the onions great. I had the duck with oyster sauce. Very generous amount of very tasty duck the bamboo crisp, the sauce great. We shared the mushroom fried rice which was very tasty, the portion we had was too large for us sadly. We enjoyed our meal, as we always do, and will definitely be back

they also wouldn’t let me take the chair after telling me to take a seat, the plants also gave me dirty looks which leaft me feeling dry like their roots, the stickers on the wall also tried to attack me multiple times and no one stopped them, this isn’t the first time they have done this, I get scared every time as I don’t know what they will do next, once my chow mein whispered in my ear telling me I was worthless, not impressed however the food tickled my taste buds

Very close to where we were staying. We ordered and waited, and only had to wait 10 minutes or so. The staff were great and the food was great. We parked in the Lidl car park up the road as it was free for 90 minutes.

After using the same Chinese for a lifetime I decided to give a different one a try. This one did not disappoint, Great food, reasonable prices and fast service! As Arnie famously once said “I’ll be back”!

Love ordering takeaway from Jackie Chans whenever I visit family in that area. The dishes are always splendid and plentiful. We always order too much. The delivery service is great.

Sweet & sour chicken excellent, chicken chow main great flavour but not much chicken, chicken fried rice a bit tasteless, portion size excellent. Efficient delivery service.

Best Chinese food in Westfield radstock area by far. You get the tubs filled to the brim with food. Great service and speedy. Only pain is the parking. 👍👍

Went there with family on New year's Day for lunch . A noticeable lack of staff for such a busy time of year .staff were excellent (not many) food was good , sadly my main course was like warm had to send it back for reheating . O when will restraunts learn to heat plates before serving food on them . Service very slow ,not staffs fault , management problem ??

Ok so only a take away. But a pretty decent one.Having moved across town this has now become my local Chinese take away.Only one slightly below par meal in 5 months.We have a fair selection of the meals and to be fair consistently good tasting food with good size portions. Keep up the good work.

Have eaten a few meals from Jackie Chan's now and they're all very good, the crispy fried chilli beef is particularly good! Only ever collected but been ready in 15/30mins on average. Normal price for a Chinese take away.

Nice assortment of Chinese takeaway food, chicken fried rice was very tasty and not sticky, enjoyed with a curry sauce, nice for a change.

Friendly staff, superb food and the price isn't bad either !! The only complaint is the fact that I've put weight on from going so often :) Maybe a website would be a good idea to show the prices of everything ?

Had a set meal for 4 on Friday evening. Speedy preparation Delicious food Would highly recommend. Food was hot and freshly cooked Pleasant staff too Will definitely be making this our regular.

Absolutely love this Chinese, the best in the area by far!! Crispy chilli chicken, shredded smoked chicken, beef chow mein, Hong Kong chicken, to name but a few of the dishes tried and tested here and the bet by far!!

Jackie Chan es un chino muy bueno llevar. Muy práctico en la calle alta, muy fácil de llegar. Siempre es muy concurrida en horas punta, pero no hay que esperar demasiado tiempo. Normalmente antes por teléfono. La comida es excelente y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

No se puede esperar lo mejor de llevar como este en Midsomer Norton/Radstock, pero Jackie Chan es probablemente uno de los mejores de la zona. Personal amable, barato y la mayoría de la comida es muy sabrosa (pero lejos de ser una experiencia decente china sabor).

The food is always great - not greasy, tasty sauces, not too salty tender meat. Have tried all of the local Chinese take away's and Jackie Chan can't be beaten.Service, in my experience has always been speedy and good - I've never got home and discovered I've been given the wrong order. Can get busy as it is popular.Family business which makes it even better.

The service is always quick and friendly. The food is always delicious and good value... and usually provides the following day's lunch as well!

Poor food, poor staff, poor service. The customer experience is really poor, employees stair at you as you walk in. And are very abrupt taking order, and the food is even worse.

Unfortunately the food wasn't what I expected. We ordered battered prawns. They had too much batter and it wasn't crispy. I also ordered prawn in garlic which I didn't like either. The honey glazed pork ribs and the spring roll where nice.

ok ish takeaway though service was poor as the person serving didnt listen to our order and even when i corrected him still got somthing i did not want and the quality was poor too as chicken in noodles was too oiley and chicken in black bean sauce was rather bland as were the prawn crackers and the bannana fritter had crack in corner of tub so piece was missing exposing it to the air my advice go to oriential sunrise at bottom high street much better quality food

Always polite friendly and fast service the food is always fresh and ready for collection. Definitely recommend to anyone.
