This is our favorite restaurant in Bath. Be sure to ask for the Chinese menu (it has English translations) and you will be served genuine Chinese cuisine. We like the Szechuan choices which are spicy, but there are many equally tasty non-spicy options and the staff are always happy to answer your questions and help you choose what you will like. A must visit if you are in Bath and like Chinese food.

Our meal here was 10/10. authentic and really tasty Chinese food which was very reasonably priced for the area, prawn crackers on the house too which was a nice touch. would recommend this place for take away or sitting in.

Very very very delicious! Pork trotters are super delicious! The Northeastern pickled cabbage is super authentic, and the frozen tofu that goes with it is full of soup and super fragrant! The crispy skin of the Guobao Pork is very thin and crispy, and it is very appetizing when paired with the vinegar sauce! Finally, Hong Kong-style milk tea has a very rich milk tea aroma, very mellow! In summary, Chinese people don’t lie to Chinese people. It’s super delicious!

The food is delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive.The restaurant has a cozy, traditional Chinese decor with wooden tables and soft lighting.

We happened to be in bath for a wedding and as we’re walking on the town center area before we hit the road back to our home place.. but feeling cold & hungry, a hot soup is the ideal choice for our hungry stomach, we’re pleased that east meets west is already open @1130!! Cant help to give 5star.. beef brisket soup is a must 👍🏻.. Lisa and her staff are brilliant .. will definitely come back👍🏻☺️

We love it here! Ping is amazing and since learning we like to try new things is always recommending things from the Chinese menu. Lina has recently joined and is also lovely. Today we had Mapo Tofu with minced pork (probably my favourite dish), fried prawns with chilli and garlic, roast pork in Szechuan oil, a soup hot pot with everything from lamb to lotus slices to chicken gizzards. Choi sum with garlic, plain noodles. Pork Siu mai, har gow, pork and Chinese leaf dumplings. It all is hugely flavourful, freshly made and prepped with significantly different flavour profiles. And we’ve got a lot of leftovers! Highly recommended, we’ll be back very soon for our Ping and chilli fix!

The restaurant rang to ask me to change to a banana fritter, but I didnt receive a fritter at all! Another savoury dish. Also the deal was for free prawn cracker if you spend over £20, and I spent £32

The Chinese restaurant near the train station offers Cantonese, Northeastern and Sichuan cuisine! My friend and I ordered the pickled fish and beef brisket pot and egg fried rice, which cost less than 20 pounds per person. All three dishes are very good~ The egg fried rice looks very ordinary but tastes very fragrant. I showed off a few bowls with my friends😆😆 The pickled fish is a big plate and very fragrant~ The beef brisket pot is also very good. I am a Cantonese man and am ecstatic🤗🤗 All in all A very treasured store, highly recommended!

We found hair in their pot, felt so bad after dinner, went to toilet 3 times, I guess the food the not fresh and clean. The boss said their chef is bold no hair. Pls avoid. I had hair loss after eating spicy hot pot and had diarrhea for a long time. The food must be dirty. The boss said the chef was bald. I didn’t know what to say.

The most authentic Chinese food in Bath!!!

I wouldn’t typically write a bad review but my family and I had such a bad experience that I felt I had to. Our server was rude, forgot half of our order and slammed the plates and cutlery down on our table whenever we made a request (that he had forgotten in the first place). We had to give him several reminders just to get basic things like cutlery and tap water for the table. It felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable to the point we didn’t even want to say thank you whenever he came over. Had it been a busy afternoon I would have understood how difficult it is being a server but it was a quiet afternoon with just 2 other tables next to us. The food was also below average and we were disappointed by the lack of flavour and spice, especially as there are so many great Asian restaurants in Bath that offer better food in comparison. Save yourself the trouble and cross the road to Chilli Family Noodles for a tastier meal with much better service.

Tuvimos una comida para llevar cuando estábamos de vacaciones. Tratar de pedir la comida era un dolor de cabeza en sí mismo que debería haber sido una señal de advertencia. El repartidor también trató de entregar nuestra comida en la dirección equivocada - este habría sido probablemente el mejor escenario en la reflexión! La comida era horrible. Las galletas estaban secas y viciadas. El pollo agridulce era tan salado como podía ser. El plato de langostinos era enfermizo dulce y no me gustó el aspecto de algunos de los langostinos (algunos eran negros en los bordes). Los fideos estaban bien y el arroz especial era soso. También era muy muy caro. Tan decepcionado y me desperté con un malestar estomacal a la mañana siguiente. Claramente este restaurante no lee sus comentarios y no le importa. Vi algunas de las críticas antes de ordenar y me sentí aprensivo, sin embargo sé que a veces las críticas son exageradas. Así que mi consejo para cualquier otra persona, ir a otro lugar o incluso mejor, cocinar en casa! Ojalá hubiera ido al supermercado ahora, comprado mantequilla y aceite y cocinado en casa!

food was barely warm. curry wasn't sealed properly and had leaked all over the rest of the food. "grilled" dumpling seemed like they had been boiled ad they we soggy. squid was very chewy. Singapore rice was basically fried rice as had barely any seasoning or flavour. very disappointed as food from here is normally very good.

This is agin not real Chinese food. I could see that it got purchase from Chinese before. It is tough life to operate Chinese food restaurant. Fried beef stir fried rice noodle is on par. It is a bit too oily. Pot chicken cooked chicken was too boney as a dish. Chicken fried rice with sautéed fish was using fresh cooked rice for frying thus sticking into gluten balls. The only thing that saves everything would be the freshness of the food you ingredient, as you can taste that they are really fresh for some reason. However not enough to up the score.

The lamb scezuan dish was like rubber. The house crispy noodles was not crispy noodles. And the chips were badly cooked cold soggy French fries! I don't normally throw food away. but I had to. Not impressed.

Except for being too salty, everything else is OK. But cooking will ruin everything. I said, please be merciful. I hope the kitchen chef will be merciful when adding salt in the future. Maybe not all dishes. Beef brisket soup is too salty and too sweet, Grilled fish too salty Rabbit meat is too salty Roast duck rice is too salty Only the sauerkraut, pork and tofu were just right. I don’t know if it was because the sauerkraut didn’t require additional salt, so it was just right.

We had a good meal here! The service was super friendly and very helpful :)

Most delicious Chinese restaurant I have ever been in UK😄

A nice place for a casual meal. Solid flavors across a number of Chinese Cuisine types. Do yourself a favor and take a look at the non-Cantonese options. Ask for the Chinese menu. The pictures will help you and there are English descriptions. We had some Sichuan favorites such as Fish Soup - nice big chunks of fish swimming in a spicy aromatic soup; and sliced cold chili chicken. From the north- eastern Dongbei region, the Cumin Lamb was very good. Really had a nice meal there.

Ate here today again. It's been my favorite since visiting Bath over the last 15 years. I've never had a bad meal here, it's not your normal takeaway fare, and everything is fresh and tasty. Staff always friendly and helpful. Can't wait till my next visit.

The food is great, our favourite by far, the down side is not all of it arrives. On multiple occasions now the order has been delivered with items missing. After calling the restaurant they were always happy to send out the missing items, but what’s the point if it’s 50 minutes later.

I ordered ribs with no sauce and egg fried rice for collection. Opened the container ribs are soaked in sauce the rice was stody and stale. I couldn't believe it. Tried to eat it, ribs are tough, and full of fat. Went straight to the bin. Never again, waste of money.

The service is extremely poor. The toilet sign is green, but if you push it, there is someone inside. It must have been the boss, who had a particularly bad attitude and yelled outside. I reported this problem to the waiter. There was no one around when I went to this restaurant, it was very deserted. It is precisely because of poor service that your business is affected. Just because you open a restaurant abroad doesn't mean you have such a bad attitude. A really bad experience. Do not recommend this restaurant.

It was delivered super quickly however I’m afraid to say the crispy shredded beef did not look fresh and smelt and tasted really odd… the best way I can describe it is that it was vinegary… Very odd! I couldn’t even eat it so that was a waste of money. The chicken curry was enjoyed by my other half but we’re disappointed that half the order was inedible.

If only there was a minus star. Ordered plain noodles for a vegetarian they put chicken in it. Asked for salt and pepper chicken wings left off order. I'm here fir the weekend and go home tomorrow so can't go and at least try and get my money back for the stuff I was charged for and didn't receive. Absolutely incompetent anyone visiting Bath do not go here

The food is very poor quality, everything deep fried way too long, tasteless and sloppy garbage. Can’t say I enjoyed anything the satay chicken tastes like rubber covered in soap. Crispy duck with no crust or flavour just boiled and put into the noodles which tasted like spoiled veg, the sweet and sour sauce is 90% vinegar, avoid this place it’s so nasty.

The lady boss is super nice, the food is delicious, and the environment is clean. If you miss Chinese food in Bath, you can come here.

Got some takeaway today and it was the worst ever. I had sweet and sour chicken and they literally added pineapple from a tin, raw onion and peppers and sold it to me for 10£. You're better off eating Chinese food from Tesco. Horrible experience
