We found hair in their pot, felt so bad after dinner, went to toilet 3 times, I guess the food the not fresh and clean. The boss said their chef is bold no hair. Pls avoid. I had hair loss after eating spicy hot pot and had diarrhea for a long time. The food must be dirty. The boss said the chef was bald. I didn’t know what to say.

I wouldn’t typically write a bad review but my family and I had such a bad experience that I felt I had to. Our server was rude, forgot half of our order and slammed the plates and cutlery down on our table whenever we made a request (that he had forgotten in the first place). We had to give him several reminders just to get basic things like cutlery and tap water for the table. It felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable to the point we didn’t even want to say thank you whenever he came over. Had it been a busy afternoon I would have understood how difficult it is being a server but it was a quiet afternoon with just 2 other tables next to us. The food was also below average and we were disappointed by the lack of flavour and spice, especially as there are so many great Asian restaurants in Bath that offer better food in comparison. Save yourself the trouble and cross the road to Chilli Family Noodles for a tastier meal with much better service.

The most authentic Chinese food in Bath!!!

We had a takeaway when we were away on holiday. Trying to order the food was a headache in itself which should have been a warning sign. The delivery driver also tried to deliver our food to the wrong address- this would probably have been the best case scenario on reflection! The food was dreadful. Prawn crackers were dry and stale. The sweet and sour chicken was as salty as could be. The prawn dish was sickly sweet and I didn’t like the look of some of the prawns (some were black on the edges). The noodles were okay and the special rice was bland. It was also very very expensive. So disappointed and I woke up with an upset stomach the following morning. Clearly this restaurant doesn’t read its reviews and doesn’t care. I saw some of the reviews before I ordered and felt apprehensive however I know sometimes reviews are exaggerated. So my piece of advice for anyone else, go somewhere else or even better, cook at home! Wish I had gone to the supermarket now, bought butter and oil and home cooked!

Delicious food and nice service

food was barely warm. curry wasn't sealed properly and had leaked all over the rest of the food. "grilled" dumpling seemed like they had been boiled ad they we soggy. squid was very chewy. Singapore rice was basically fried rice as had barely any seasoning or flavour. very disappointed as food from here is normally very good.

This is agin not real Chinese food. I could see that it got purchase from Chinese before. It is tough life to operate Chinese food restaurant. Fried beef stir fried rice noodle is on par. It is a bit too oily. Pot chicken cooked chicken was too boney as a dish. Chicken fried rice with sautéed fish was using fresh cooked rice for frying thus sticking into gluten balls. The only thing that saves everything would be the freshness of the food you ingredient, as you can taste that they are really fresh for some reason. However not enough to up the score.

The lamb scezuan dish was like rubber. The house crispy noodles was not crispy noodles. And the chips were badly cooked cold soggy French fries! I don't normally throw food away. but I had to. Not impressed.

Except for being too salty, everything else is OK. But cooking will ruin everything. I said, please be merciful. I hope the kitchen chef will be merciful when adding salt in the future. Maybe not all dishes. Beef brisket soup is too salty and too sweet, Grilled fish too salty Rabbit meat is too salty Roast duck rice is too salty Only the sauerkraut, pork and tofu were just right. I don’t know if it was because the sauerkraut didn’t require additional salt, so it was just right.

We had a good meal here! The service was super friendly and very helpful :)

Most delicious Chinese restaurant I have ever been in UK😄

A nice place for a casual meal. Solid flavors across a number of Chinese Cuisine types. Do yourself a favor and take a look at the non-Cantonese options. Ask for the Chinese menu. The pictures will help you and there are English descriptions. We had some Sichuan favorites such as Fish Soup - nice big chunks of fish swimming in a spicy aromatic soup; and sliced cold chili chicken. From the north- eastern Dongbei region, the Cumin Lamb was very good. Really had a nice meal there.

Ate here today again. It's been my favorite since visiting Bath over the last 15 years. I've never had a bad meal here, it's not your normal takeaway fare, and everything is fresh and tasty. Staff always friendly and helpful. Can't wait till my next visit.

The food is great, our favourite by far, the down side is not all of it arrives. On multiple occasions now the order has been delivered with items missing. After calling the restaurant they were always happy to send out the missing items, but what’s the point if it’s 50 minutes later.

I ordered ribs with no sauce and egg fried rice for collection. Opened the container ribs are soaked in sauce the rice was stody and stale. I couldn't believe it. Tried to eat it, ribs are tough, and full of fat. Went straight to the bin. Never again, waste of money.

Not really sure what the mixed seafood included? I think it was tofu and a piece of squid? Sorry but a little disappointed

The service is extremely poor. The toilet sign is green, but if you push it, there is someone inside. It must have been the boss, who had a particularly bad attitude and yelled outside. I reported this problem to the waiter. There was no one around when I went to this restaurant, it was very deserted. It is precisely because of poor service that your business is affected. Just because you open a restaurant abroad doesn't mean you have such a bad attitude. A really bad experience. Do not recommend this restaurant.

It was delivered super quickly however I’m afraid to say the crispy shredded beef did not look fresh and smelt and tasted really odd… the best way I can describe it is that it was vinegary… Very odd! I couldn’t even eat it so that was a waste of money. The chicken curry was enjoyed by my other half but we’re disappointed that half the order was inedible.

If only there was a minus star. Ordered plain noodles for a vegetarian they put chicken in it. Asked for salt and pepper chicken wings left off order. I'm here fir the weekend and go home tomorrow so can't go and at least try and get my money back for the stuff I was charged for and didn't receive. Absolutely incompetent anyone visiting Bath do not go here

The food is very poor quality, everything deep fried way too long, tasteless and sloppy garbage. Can’t say I enjoyed anything the satay chicken tastes like rubber covered in soap. Crispy duck with no crust or flavour just boiled and put into the noodles which tasted like spoiled veg, the sweet and sour sauce is 90% vinegar, avoid this place it’s so nasty.

The lady boss is super nice, the food is delicious, and the environment is clean. If you miss Chinese food in Bath, you can come here.

Got some takeaway today and it was the worst ever. I had sweet and sour chicken and they literally added pineapple from a tin, raw onion and peppers and sold it to me for 10£. You're better off eating Chinese food from Tesco. Horrible experience

Rubbish!!! What a disgrace to Chinese food!

We rang up to add something to our order immediately after submitting, only to be told we couldn’t as the order was on its way???? Over an hour later, no food arrived so we rang again to be told the order had left 20 minutes ago?? 10 mins after that, the driver appears, apologetic, telling us he had to get petrol before he could deliver our order!!!! Food arrived cold & was not the best in quality. For the price, it was poor overall. Would not use again.

The Chinese food here is highly recommended! It's a fusion of Western and Eastern flavors, with a wide variety of flavors. It's a reasonable price, the volume is good, and the delivery is perfect, so it's sure to be a repeat purchase!

Food as always delicious however ordered at 1900 on New Years Day, was advised would be here by 1945 finally arrived at 2040. Contacted restaurant was informed would refund me the £3 delivery charge.

The best Chinese food I had in England! One must get their tomato beef stew, which is positively to die for (especially on a rainy night)

Almost stopped me going inside when I see 3/5 for Hygiene rating, but there weren’t so many choices at 11:00am. Food was very average, the taste were not authentic at all. No music no bowls no service. The supervisor has no clues in managing the place at all

Ordered at 11:37 and food arrived at 13:25, the food arrived cold, didn’t help that cold drinks were packing in the same bags as the drinks were now warm! Food wasn’t good quality, small positions of pork. Going to request a refund as this was beyond a joke! If you can’t meet demand etc then don’t accept the order, greedy swines.

It’s a nice place with a good atmosphere but the dishes I ordered were not good. The flavour and ingredients were way off what they should be. Kung Pao tofu was missing essential ingredients for the dish. The tofu was hot but some of the vegetables were still cold. The curry vegetables just had a terrible curry flavour. Nothing like what you get all over China. I live in China and have been there for 17 years, 8 in the south where that curry originates. Even the hot milk tea wasn’t properly hot. It’s a shame the eating experience didn’t match the atmosphere.

The food was all microwaved, simply not eatable. They also charge you ridiculous price. PLEASE AVOID!

Where do I start with this? The food came within less than 5 minutes of ordering, so had clearly just been microwaved. The wonton soup was bland and the pork dumplings within the soup tasted like they were off. We soldiered on to the mains, and ordered lamb and spring onions, which should be a dry-fried spicy dish. What we got instead was a bland, greasy mess with lamb prices that were barely edible. What an insult to Dongbei cuisine! We also ordered braised beef, which was at least 60% fat, so surgery was required on each price of meat before it was edible. Whilst I get that having some fat in the dish is the authentic way for it to be served, each dish we ordered cost between £15-£20 - for that price they shouldn’t serve such low quality cuts of meat. Overall, the presentation of all dishes was hideous, the vegetables in the dishes had generally just been cut in half or in random shapes…which just shows a general bad attitude and lack of effort in the kitchen. In total, for two meat dishes, the soup, a vegetable dish, some rice and a beer, the bill was £75, which I thought was outrageous. I generally steer clear of writing negative reviews for small businesses, but in this case I had to make an exception, since the food was just not good, it cost way too much and was a very bad experience. Hope they can turn it around.

If I do order again it will be for collection only, although the food was good the app said to enjoy it even though it hadn't actually arrived.

Surprised this place hasn’t got a higher average. One of the best in Bath. Food is excellent - good quality ingredients and great flavours.

Order was an hour late (2 hours total). They told us it had been delivered about 80 minutes in and then changed their mind. They wouldn’t refund us so that we could just make our own food saying there was traffic, the driver had said he’d run out of fuel which is totally different.. The food was cold so we didn’t eat very much of it.
