The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South West

Daughter brought take away home and I had a chicken curry and some prawn crackers. Never had such tough chicken and the prawn crackers weren't crispy just hard. Will go back to Danny's Garden in future.

We had the set meal for 3. All the dishes excellent. Well cooked, tasty and good quality ingredients. I ordered online for home delivery. It arrived 20 minutes early on a Saturday evening- happy it arrived early rather than late. We have been using Cheungs for years and have always found it to be totally reliable.

We had a lovely Chinese from here just recently, I am from the area and it always smells nice. Only downside is that you have to wait long after being told how long to wait, but the food is great.

Very nice food but I thought compared with other take aways it was a tad expensive . Having said that the food was good and hot and the service quick.

Having avoided Chan's for almost two years since moving here after listening to other people, we decided to give it a try. I can not fault it. Ordered online and walked down to collect as we don't live far, the food was ready as I walked in. Very generous potion sizes, we ended up having too much food. The prawn crackers are the best I've ever had and one bag contained enough for three people. All of the food was well cooked and the flavours were lovely. I can't believe I left it this long to try but I will certainly be a regular customer there from now on.

So i do not venture out when it comes to food ! Couldnt be bothered to go miles so went to my local !! Lets start Had chicken satay skewers , unfortunately not to my taste as they were fried and not in sauce ! Battered mini spring rolls (banging with bbq sauce ) Chicken in black bean - full of flavour chicken was perfect , nothing worse than hard chicken !! Was so tender and juicy , sauce great consistency plenty of it ! Chicken in satay same as above ! Chips nicely salted Bbq sauce nice and thick lots of flavour ! I would of gave it 5 but unfortunately the skewers werent for me ! Good quality food for a good price !! Young lady server was very friendly too !! I imagine it would be pleasant eating in

Biggest disappointment ever, after reading reviews was expecting a decent Chinese takeaway but ended up with the worst we’ve ever had. Seaweed was burnt & inedible, egg fried rice was totally bland & a sticky, gloopy mess, king prawn in sweet & sour sauce consisted of 4 small prawns in a sauce that was unseasoned & basically just green &red peppers, onion & pineapple. Vegetable spring rolls had nothing inside, just the spring roll wrapper fried! Total waste of money & effort to go to pick up as we’re told would be more than 2hrs for delivery. Advise avoid this one!

Always rated this takeaway as the best Chinese takeaway in Tiverton, god knows wot they have done changed cooks or got someone who has no idea, myself and my wife had a takeaway from here n it was awful very bland starter was mix spare rib well over cooked, pancake rolls very greasy taste of nothing. We will NOT be going back.

Missed a meal from our delivery and refused to bring out the missing meal, stated that they were too busy. Staff were rude and unhelpful! They have lost my custom!!

Vegetarian curry was bland and didn't taste cooked out. The spicy salt and pepper chips were about £1.50 worth, not the extortionate £5 charged. Sweet and sour Cantonese was a semi battered breast sliced, which was just ok, not amazing. Shame as it had so much promise.

Avoid this place my egg fried rice and special egg rice was so dry I think it was Sunday's rice. (3days ago) No facility for debit cards it's cash only which always makes me suspicious. Oh if you order a chow mein don't expect it to look or taste like a chow mein.

We ordered food for five people, the food was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. What a waste of £75. It was awful so bad we couldn’t couldn’t eat it. What an awful end to our family Christmas get together. I would advise you never yo eat at Nin Lam again!

Food was simply delicious. We tried the Kung Po Special, Mapo Tofu and spicy peppery chicken wings. Mapo Tofu was silky smooth and full of flavor! Service was excellent and the stafff were polite, attentive and made some recommendations. I would highly recommend Lee Gardens which offered a high quality cuisine and impeccable service!

Me and my mom went to Cook&Fry (Fu Lin) in Buckfastleigh for mom birthday meal, a day before because of work unfortunately. We have come here many time before, to try out the different dishes they have to offered. Served by a male staff member who knows what he was doing as he listened carefully to what we ordered, making sure he got it right. It is mom treat so she gets to pick what we are going to have, and decided to ordered BBQ ribs and some chips (1/2). We took it home to eat it and happy to report that the both of us enjoyed the food. Delicious and yummy to eat, nice side portion of both ribs and chips It was perfectly cooked, definitely cook to the correct temperature. Even though you could only played for your order by cash, I don't even mind. The only bad thing on the evening is that the sign says it opened, even though it wasn't 5pm yet and door opened with no one there till the time. Noneless, we happily enjoyed going here and both of us would recommend anyone even living in the area or staying on holiday nearby to try it. Thank you Cook&Fry for our wonderful experience.
