One of the best takeaways I have used, great food cooked by experts who give great value and are very friendly. Will be back for more!

They know exactly how to balance very very hot (we always order extra hot on our options!) With superb flavours. Very allergy aware. Plus always delivered quickly, with a smile by the friendly 'prawn cracker man' - which is what our dog thinks he's delivering for her!

I am a local and have used this Chinese for years. The delivery service is excellent and the food has been great in the past.. However, it’s gone down hill. Ordered Chicken skewers, tough! Spicy prawns…tough. Main dishes are now packed with all the cheaper ingredients, if you’re a meat eater expect loads of other veg but little meat. It’s such a shame.

Just had a takeaway for my wife’s birthday and the food was excellent we had sweet and sour chicken balls , crispy shredded beef ,and a beef curry and rice the chicken balls were massive and hot and there were 10 of them .The curry and crispy beef superb would highly recommend this takeaway

My takeaway arrived dead on time, well packaged and piping hot, The food was delicious and the portions extremely generous. Quite the best Chinese I have had in years. I will certainly order again.

Just had a meal delivered the first time since the first lockdown,we used to get one a month and i can honestly say the food was amazing,delivery prompt and noticed they had'nt put their prices up like other buisnesses,thanks Sung Fung House brilliant service👍

Don't eat chinese takeout much but it was brilliant! Also a fan of sweet and sour sauce so the large pot was great. Girl out the front was really friendly and nice reception. Would recommend.

We had a large takeaway of just under £90. Everything was very enjoyable except the Pork curry which I wouldnt have again. The staff were friendly and the wait was not too bad considering the size of the order.

It wasn’t the cheapest Chinese we have been too but all the food we had was really nice, no complaints at all and the service was really good from our initial phone call to picking up our meals. Helpful and pleasant young lady who served us. Would come back again if we are in the area

Have used this Chinese for years,but after a change of management it has to be the worse Chinese I've had rang and complained but weren't really interested will never go again

Had a take away from Sun Fung House twice now and both times it was delicious. This is definately going to be a regular thing and so pleased we found such great tasting food.

Vile. Tasteless Rung up to complain about the food and they said there wasn’t nothing they could do, not even an apology. Definitely avoid.

This has always been our favourite Chinese Takeaway & we've had lots of meals from them which have been superb & great value. The staff there have always been pleasant & efficient.We've had 2 takeaways from them this week and both haven't been up to the usual standard. The duck in my duck & ginger had been cooked before & reheated which made it dry. Usually the duck dishes are good with moist & beautifully cooked duck. I hoped this would be a one off.Sadly our second takeaway this week was a real disappointment. Chicken curry that was gloopy with over large rectangles of previously cooked chicken (where is the thinly sliced fresh chicken gone?). prawn black bean with less prawns than usual & not enough black bean flavour and duck with ginger which was bland with not enough flavour, duck that wasn't soft & freshly cooked & little in the way of vegetables.We are so disappointed we may not return to Sun Fung.

Have had takeaway twice recently, quick service and all dishes tried were nice. The curry is really good, as was the duck in plum sauce. Friendly staff. The 5 star hygiene rating gives me confidence. Used to be a regular in another local Chinese but since discovering this one I do prefer it.

Always have a great meal here and great banter with some of the staff. Great food and great value. I recommend 98c, cant remember what its called just the number.

Always good service, never had a bad meal. Plenty of choice and good selection of spicey meals which we enjoy

i can' t understand the folks who think this place is wonderful, it's just plain awful. Crispy Chilli Beef, wasn't crispy and had no chilli, Duck was cooked OK but had no flavour in the sauce, Singapore noodles should have heat but didn't and no flavour. they had no rice ! Going away on holiday in a couple of days, well rice is dry and comes in sacks, doesn't go off in a couple of weeks does it?

Excellent food, good service and would recommend. Fri9endly family business with extensive menu of good well cooked food.

Have had a few takeaways from this place and it never looks to clean. We normally have something with prawn's but every time we have had them with batter on there has always been a taste of bananas in the batter,so not sure if prawn's and bananas are dipped in the same mixture. Red panda is so much nicer. Haven't been back.

This is my fav takeaway in Callington!!! Absolutely amazing 💖 been going here since I was young my dad first took me when it opened 😁 and now I go there with my son and he loves it just as much as I do 💖💖

We've been customers of Sun Fung House for several years and we have enjoyed our meals every time. Rice dishes are always tasty and the quality is excellent. Service is normally quick even at busy times.

Amazed that Mark-Nelly should launch such a short negative comment without any detail other than that he prefers another place up the road. We have used Sung Fung a few times a year for a long time and never had a quibble. We eat out occasionally and like most other people grow familiar with the names and styles of commonplace dishes. It is very rare that any two cafes restaurants or takeaways produce the same version or flavours of a dish unless they buy in ready made meals. Sung Fung very obviously cooks fresh on demand and we like it. M-K hasn't specified what he had or how it differed from the other place....as if it mattered. Presumably if he had wide experience of or training in Cantonese or Sechuan cooking he would have explained.

It's safe to say we will never get a take away from here again. The only reason we did this time was because the red panda is closed on Monday's. The meal we had even smelt wrong. IT WAS AWFUL.

Sun Fung House has been a part of Callington for over 25 years and the food has always been of the best quality, reasonably priced and an extensive menu choice.

There is a wider choice of takeaway food than some people realise. Some quite unassuming but like this one, simple friendly and reliable. As with all the catering places down this hill, parking is a problem unless you sneak one of spaces reserved day times for customers of the hardware store.
