New China Palace in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Ordered a takeaway for delivery despite the poor reviews of late - came ahead of schedule and everything we had was hot and very tasty not one thing we could complain about - vey good food

About the worst Chinese we've ever had :( We ordered a variety of starters as a takeaway. Spring roll was 99% bean sprouts and was the size of a bean bag. Crispy chilli beef was ALL batter - We found a thread of beef in one piece. Butterfly prawns were dry. Crispy aromatic duck from Tesco is better. I'm sorry. Better to have fewer good choices than a long list of poor choices. 80% if what we ordered went in the bin.

We grabbed a takeaway from here to take back to our accommodation despite being advised against it. We like to try and rate places for ourselves rather than rely on hearsay and im glad we did as the food was great and plentiful. It appears the restaurant itself is still not open due to Covid (as you enter a plastic booth when walking through the front door to order/collect) and its a take away only service at present to I recommend calling ahead if your looking to dine in.

Dined here a few times before it became the new China palace. Food always good but latest takeaway was lovely. We eat Chinese a lot and this is one of the best

We’d not eaten from here for a number of years and wow were we pleasantly surprised. Delicious food, delivered on time and at very reasonable prices. We’ve eaten a lot of Chinese meals in our time and this is right up there as one of the best. Highly recommended.
