Lung Sing in Torbay - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

Specially asked for no prawns in special fried rice and not only did that have prawns in, I ordered sweet and sour CHICKEN and ended up with Chicken, Pork and Prawns (neither of which I eat ) Surely getting an order right should be a basic requirement!

I hate to write this but Lung Sing need to do something to address there food. On a family weekend in Paignton so though we’d treat our self to a Chinese. The meat was tough and full of tendons. The noodles were mushy and the sauces tasteless. The food went in the bin and we had beans on toast. A complete waste of £50.

I started using lung sing after a few years. It must have been 3 attempts for them to understand that I Don't like peas and onions in my curries. I finished work at 8 on Friday 27th didn't want to cook being late so as I was leaving work phoned lung sing. Ordered beef curry. Said that I would be there in 10 minutes. Got there went in and when I produced my card the lady said that it was a minium of £15 on a card. I explained that I had only a card and she said that she would let me off this time. Well unfortunately for them there won't be another day because I won't be going back. I'm not going to buy £15 of food and I think that they will price themselves out of the market. Its a real shame because their curries are very good . But if you have prawn crackers with it it takes it over £10 which for a curry with boiled rice and prawn crackers to me is a little bit expensive. I really think that someone that they know should go in there and just say forget the minimum payment because I do believe that it is against the law to do that anymore. They will loose customers. I've decided not to go there until they change their policy. Shame

we had a local Chinese after being here for nearly a year. the lemon chicken was out of this world. all the other dishes were cooked to perfection . the best we have had ever in the bay after living here 10 years and wont be going any were else. please please please don't move or sell up. highly recommend. thank you for making are Saturday night memorable.

We went to place an order with some struggle as the person that answered the phone was 10 years old I asked to speak to his mum or dad he said his dad's cooking and his mum upstairs. His dad came on the phone said hello and passed the phone back to his son who struggled to take the order (not the kids fault) We then placed our order and the food was 50/50 noodles tasted greasy and water and the salt and pepper chicken was perfect and the rest of the order was okay. Will certainly have to think of using these again

Ordered online easily. Could specify time easily. Delivered precisely to out Caravan 5 minutes early and piping hot! Really lovely food, way beyond expectations for a seaside resort! Prawn toast delicious, salt and chilli ribs meaty and tasty! Chichen and beef in all dishes tender. Really good food with a great delivery service!

Used to be amazing food but quality going downhill unfortunately as food was really burnt to taste :(

Tried it twice when my regular one has been shut. Not recommended, food isn't up to the standards of others in the bay. Even found a couple of hairs in the Chow Mein which is a big thumbs down.

Used to be one of the best in the bay, however recent new ownership has seen the quality disappear faster than water downhill. Avoid!

been coming here for probably 20 years and despite having the odd Chinese elsewhere this is definitely the best our family has ever had.spot on every time.excellent service and always quickly done.highly recommend.

This is without doubt the best Chinese I have ever had the privilege to eat. I have eaten Chinese all over the country but Lung Sing definitely beats them all. The food and service was exceptional and left a memorable taste in my mouth. I now have an unquenchable thirst to go back again and again and again.Highly recommend any of the dishes with Duck in. All in all 10/10.

Best Chinese takeaway in the bay. We use this place every time and it never disappoints. Great food and fast delivery times.

Este lugar es muy extraño. . Es casi como su comida inglesa de estilo chino. Y todo tiene un montón. de stir zanahorias fritas! ! Y digo muchos!Es de propiedad privada y gestionado, pero un marido y mujer equipo creo y su actitud es horrible. .El te lo darán idea cuando llame para hacer una orden. Y cuando gire para recopilar, son arrogantes. . Es casi como un inconveniente enorme su a ellos. . .He usado este sitio para 6 meses ya estaba casi al lado de donde vivo, y cada vez era el mismo. . . .Incluso me preguntó el dueño de mujeres por qué ella nunca sonrisas y su respuesta fue un solo gruñido. . .Es tan malo, es casi divertido!

Fantastic food we only live up the rd but still really happy to deliver use it all the time Only down side is no where to park if ur collecting

The food here is gorgeous. Lovely people origionly from china bit been here for years and have perfected their business, great delivery service and good prices also. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Lovely selection of food. Delivery service available. Always arrives piping hot. If you have any changes you want to make they are always happy to accommodate

Just had a meal to here and all I can say is it a very English Chinese :0 standard food and tasteless ribs :( £28 later not happy and not full :( now way 5/5 there's a lot better out there !!!

Have not been to lung sing for quite a while due to circumstances but having family here for fathers day weekend we decided to have a treat and ordered takeaway it was absolutely lush . Thanks.

We use this Chinese on a regular basis..lovely family run business. Definitely the best Chinese in the bay and have tried most!! Would higher recommended

I loved the fast friendly service from Lung Sing. The food was very fresh and well made. The delivery couldn't have been more convenient, with our food being delivered on time to our nearby caravan. Thank you Lung Sing!

This is the very best Chinese food in the bay and we use it most weeks at least once, and we also like that they deliver your food to your door too so no need to travel

This has been my favorite Chinese for over 30 years, I've tried others but always regret it and end up back here. Even though I have now moved to Preston I still go to Lung Sing. Never had a bad meal from here, in fact there's nothing negative I can say about this place apart from the fact that they shut for Chinese New Year... and I have to go elsewhere..!

This is great. Tasty good value food. Excellent service. Chips are delicious too. Not at all greasy, wide choice of menu. You won't be disappointed
