What has happened to this place? We have been coming here for years but the last couple of times it has been awful. I don't know if they have a new chef or owners. We won't be going back.

First time we’ve had an order from Jade for a while, the food seems to have changed, and not for the better! 🤷🏼

We've ordered here many times before but this was by far the nicest meal, very tasty

Food cold, so more spice to make it seem hot,but it is not

The food was not tasty, the sauces had the consistency of pudding. Burnt bananas taste burnt. Curry sauce, terrible consistency and taste. I ordered from you earlier and everything was tasty, I don't know what happened now... I am not happy

30 minutes from “on its way” when I’m around the corner, really? Half of it cold too, didn’t receive drink.

Food took 2 and 1/2 hours to arrive! kept being delayed by restaurant, had to call to chase up, no apologies at all. Food wasn’t even hot when it eventually arrived

Curry was very plain. Meat was small. King prawn chow mein was very nice but was not very hot. Roast duck and mushrooms. The duck was small over was quite overcooked. All food wasn’t very hot

Simply the best Chinese takeaway I know of 🥰

We always get a satisfying takeaway from this place. I particularly like the salt and pepper chilli chicken. My son, who used to live and eat in a big city, thinks the menu is not as varied and innovative as some he has seen. But everything we have tried has been good.

Chips were either undercooked or overcooked - rock hard and like cardboard as were the ribs. The Singapore noodles had no spice and the entire meal just generally just discusting.

Quick delivery. Always delicious, always appreciated. Top Nosh. Recommended.

Took an hour and 40mins approximately from time of order. Food was cold and frankly the chips seemed stale. Rest of the mains lacked flavour. Seems like a waste of money and I would like a refund please.

Far too much onion very greasy not alot of meat or mushrooms in dishes. Watery sauces. Its definitely not anything compared to Chinese in Bovey.

There was chicken in the vegetarian rice

Our regular choice of Chinese and always good. Tonight it just seemed to be a bit tasteless and lacking in flavour and seasoning. Won’t be put off

Food very chunky and not very tasty. Also I put a note on my order for no prawn crackers and for a menu. I got the prawn crackers and didn’t get a menu!

Food is just right, the duck with mushrooms has tiny amount of sauce. I ordered shrimp chop suey but I believe what came is shrimp with mushrooms, bamboo shoots and bean sprout🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️ the mixed vegetables doesn’t seem to be the mixed vegetables I ordered. And lastly, next time please try to add some salt 😆 oh btw, the prawn crackers were amazing!

This is the first time I have had a chicken fried rice from a Chinese and not enjoyed it whatsoever, it felt wrong to it. The prawn crackers were great though but would not order again.

Ordered from here a few times now and it's never been brilliant but ok. Unfortunately tonight was not great , chow mein was nice but the rest of the order wasn't very nice and we didn't enjoy the food.

Food was bland and the meat was processed. Chips were soggy and salt was needed for it to taste of anything.

Really enjoyed the majority- egg fried rice, chow mein, chicken balls, quarter duck, bbq ribs, fu yung we’re all great! Chicken curry was a bit weird (more Thai style) and the sweet and sour pork was a bit fatty but would order again!

The beef curry is very nice, it is real beef not some floppy "something". The problem is the chips, they are horrible, and I have to buy 2 bags of horrible chips that I can't eat, to get the delivery... make nice chips please! Roy - regular customer

This place beats any other for me, I wont order from anywhere else, great quality food, reasonly priced, the delivery time is always spot on, its not one of those takeaways full of grease either, ( you know them with that over oiled food)...its a Chinese that chooses flavour in their food and quality. The food was appalling, the curry didn’t look or taste like curry, the beef in black bean sauce was chewy and bland the crispy wonton had no filling. The prawns were ok but again bland. I wouldn’t order again, it’s massively gone down hill from last time I ordered

The food was very nice, but the drinks came from a multipack not to be sold separately.

Food was cold, had no taste whatsoever, and the bbq sauce definitely did not taste like bbq, it had no flavour and tasted waterey. Will not be ordering from here again.

Went out of their way when id put the wrong address in and always take the veg we dont like out of the order, really great food

Food was very bland, spring rolls looked promising but no taste, lots of hard onions in the crispy chicken and beef packing it out as there was not much meat and gloopy sauce, lacked flavour and seasoning and just had heat from chillis £30 down the drain. Not very impressed
