Very long time customer......prob since 1994....Great food great taste....quick and good fair price.....TOP marks

The worst chinese i had the pleasure to pay for ,the rice was terrible and we left most of it the special curry was watery and uninteresting flavor,spring rolls had a certain tang which was off putting .Pork ribs were dry No love in the food just profit .

Massively gone downhill. Used to love this place but the last time i ordered they forgot a dish only to be told they were really busy so would have to wait an hour for the forgotten dish. This time, 1.45hours for delivery and the food was rubbish. Couldnt eat the chow mein as tasted rough. Not really sure whats going on with the crispy beef either. Wont be going back!

2 hours for delivery having been told 45mins. Rang to find out what’s going on only to be told it’s on its way. Turns out they forgot my order.

Ordered food about 4:30, for 6:15 delivery, so plenty of notice. Food eventually arrived at 6:45 (30 minutes late). Delivery person was already half way down road by time that I got to front door, so no apology. Chips, in polystyrene tray, were hot, but everything else, in plastic trays or paper bags, was just lukewarm. Sauce on lemon chicken had gone thick & glutenous. However, the sauce of the king prawn chop suey was just coloured water - apart from the noodles there was nothing else in it - not a single vegetable. Worst Chinese ever & won't be using again. Pity, because they used to be our favourite for years.

Very disappointed with recent order char sui pork inedible- could barely chew it and 2 portions ended up in the bin. So i called to advise them to be told, “that’s how we cook it” and when I advised I would never order again they replied “ok, thank you” and hung up on me. Have used a few times before but this will be my last as it ruined the meal and some of the party had to go without/very little.

ive eaten here for many years seen the mixed reviews but to be fair ive always had good food from here hopefully that will continue

The Char Sui Pork and Crispy Chilli Beef we ordered were absolutely awful. The pork was so dry despite being in a sauce it was like eating a sandal. The crispy chilli beef was the same dry, chewy and in some kind of tomato sauce which tasted revolting. I will never order from here again and I would recommend avoiding at all costs. We couldn’t eat our mains they tasted so bad, complete waste of money. I did phone up to complain, the first person hung up on me and the second said that it was in a sauce so it couldn’t be dry and that was the style.

The portions were very generous and we had loads of leftovers, so can’t complain about the price. But the food was lacking in flavour.

Shredded duck was not cooked well loads of fat, not shredded and no taste to the dish at all, no heat the odd sliced chilli . Black bean same tasteless, huge amounts but no taste what so ever. Some people rav about Chinese takeaway in this country but I haven't found one that taste like true authentic Chinese food as yet. Chucked twenty quid worth of food in the bin. Boring, tasteless food, but u may like that. If u do you will get a huge amount.

We've been going to this place for years but tonight this food was absolutely fantastic!!!! 3 of our family members had different meals and all were really lovely and felt that I had to let everyone else know. Delivery was very quick, as always. Thank you Lin Nam. Will look forward to our next meal. x

Been eating from here for many years,always fantastic, however the last 2 times have been terrible so much that we’ve thrown it away, hopefully they’ll get back to their high standards until I won’t order again and that hurts because they were so good

Pre-ordered my food to arrive at 6pm, which it did. Food was hot and delicious!! Really generous portion sizes for each of our dishes. The house special chow mein was amazing! As were the chicken satay skewers. But all the dishes we ordered were delicious, and of good quality the prawns are huge, and the chicken was so juicy. Money well spent, we have found our go to take away 😍

We’ve been getting our Friday night takeaway here for well over 10 years now and I cannot remember ever having a bad meal. The service is always swift and we always look forward to Friday nights because of the great food we’ve gotten used to. Since the CV19 lockdown we’ve really missed Lin Nam.

The worst Chinese I have ever eaten! Binned after a couple of mouthfuls. The whole meal had clearly been reheated. Daren’t eat the prawn balls or the Singapore chow mien. Worst £22 I ever spent

Fantastic Chinese - Always have a delivery, which arrives hot with free prawn crackers. Different choice from the menu most times and every dish is always tasty 😋 Add a note to your order for any request. Which have always been met ( fried rice - fried dark - it’s to die for ) 🍜🥢🥡 5⭐️ Keep up the good work

We always get our Chinese takeaway from here. The good is cooked freshly for each order and it arrives hot. We have it delivered. The quality is great and very tasty. You get free prawn crackers with most orders.I really like the crispy chilli chicken and Foo young dishes.Always polite and very clean

Had our first order delivered from this place on New Years Eve. It had been recommended by a few people so thought we would give it a go. It was fantastic! Every dish was lovely, fresh and tasty and was delivered on time. This will be our go to Chinese from now on.

Nice to eat a chow mien that isn’t swimming in grease! The chicken in peppercorn salt is mine and my brothers favourite from here. The egg fried rice is perfect for me - however, it’s more boiled rice with egg. But doesn’t bother me like I said! Go to Chinese place! Super quick delivery too!

We've tried others but always come back to ordering from Lin Nam. Very fast delivery usually, and food is superb.

We've been ordering from Lin Nam for years now and wouldn't ever consider using another chinese takeaway. Portions sizes are large, especially with the fried rice and noodle dishes. The omelettes are perfect and tasty and great value as they include a portion of chips in the price. We're a couple of miles away and they're always really busy, yet often our delivery arrives within 15 minutes!

Fortunately we live quite local to this takeaway and we really enjoy the food here. Big portions and good quality meat used.

This is the best Chinese I have tasted in a very long time, the curry sauce is to die for, will most certainly be returning :)

We recently moved to the area from Bath were we had our favourite takeaways. After trying several Chinese takeaways in this area we were struggling to find one we liked. We were introduced to Lin Nam by friends who said they won’t go anywhere else for Chinese and we can see why! The menu has plenty of choice and some dishes that just aren’t on “basic” menus. The delivery is great and, so far has always arrived before the stated time. Stay always helpful on the phone as well. This takeaway isn’t on Justeat etc. So you do have to call to place your order but that’s not a big deal is it! Highly recommend Lin Nam’s.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a Chinese take away in Bristol! Always freshly cooked, piping hot, not greasy and great value. The mixed starters for two is amazing value!

We don't use any other take away (Chinese ) but this one!!! And we order prob 3-4 times per month!! (I'm no slim Jim) amazing food and fantastic delivery service!! Staff are friendly!!! Chicken curry or chicken chow mein curry sauce or Singapore fried rice and satay chicken is a defo must!!! Even th prawn crackers are cooked fresh and is amazing!!! Top Chinese in Bristol in my eyes

I have used Lin Nam for well over 10 years, I wont lie some years have been better than others. It is a Take away shop in Kingswood that offers delivery to the local area or you can collect if you choose. Should you collect your food, be warned that the parking on street and is extremely limited. They accept cash or card payment. The delivery time can vary between 30-75 mins, ask when you place your order.
