Order arrived after waiting over a hour and no chips came. I called the shop and I could hear a lady in the kitchen shout ‘l’ll need to go back to Just eat for a refund from Just eat. I’ll go elsewhere from now on.

Hemos utilizado chefoo muchas veces. La comida siempre fue buena, pero nunca a tiempo. Habíamos aprendido a ignorar los tiempos de entrega estimados y a esperar una hora. Ahora estamos esperando casi 2 y la calidad también ha bajado. Esta noche llamé después de la 1. 5 horas para recibir un mensaje de contestador telefónico diciendo que estaban demasiado ocupados empacando pedidos para contestar el teléfono - por lo que ahora no hay manera de comprobar la comida viene. Esta será la última vez que los usemos - vergüenza, buena comida arruinada por negocios pobres

Delivery was delayed however they called me to let me know how much longer I would have to wait and the reasons why and were very apologetic. Food was amazing as always. I will order from them again.

Nice food but paid extra for a large chilli beef and large prawns but only received a regular size portion of both which is frustrating.

Wow so yummy! Ordered kung po chicken and noodle soup. The kung po was crammed full of crisp fresh vegetables, crinkle cut, in a great sauce - spicy and sweet. Also so much chicken! The noodle soup was nice too, but very thick so not what I expected. Very reasonable prices and wait time; was not there for over 15 minutes. Everything was fresh and boiling hot. The premises is very clean, and the gentleman at the front was friendly and pleasant.

This is now my go-to chinese and that is saying a lot, as there are many around this area!! Freshly cooked, healthy and delicious food and at a great price, which I feel is rare nowadays. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is hungry. Thank you to all of the staff at Chefoo 😁

I ordered food from this place only to be insulted by the woman on the phone when they gave me the wrong food…… commenting on my speech. As a disabled man who has had a brain injury my speech is slightly impaired. When I said I would submit a review I was told I was threatening by doing so and they know where I live so to be very careful

Delivery was excellent and early than advised which was great. Very well packed and very hot, very nice starters of chicken skewers and vegetable rolls. Very nice mains of chicken chow mein and beef curry with lots of flavour but beef was a little chewy. Will certainly recommend and use again

This is the second time I have ordered from Chefoo and had to wait over an hour 1/2 for the food. When it arrives it’s cold, really disappointing as they were our go to for a Chinese.

Amazing service. We haven't eaten Chinese food for years and I don't regret stopping in Chefoo. Once we walked in we were greeted with a smile and asked if we needed help. We had chicken noodles, vegetable noodles, pork spring rolls and veg spring rolls with Chinese beer and I was very happy with the portion and taste of food. We didn't have to wait long and we got a bonus in the bag: prawn crackers - very tasty. The place seemed clean inside and there were 4 chairs, so we could chill while waiting for the food. I strongly recommend this place.

We don’t usually leave reviews, but we had to take the time to leave one here. We have tried so many Chinese takeaways in Bristol and they’re all absolutely rubbish! But this place is brilliant. Great value for money and the food is excellent, never had a bad dish. Highly recommend, our new go to Chinese.

Take away beef curry. The curry sauce was lovely, however all of the beef was inedible as it was all gristle with a nasty slimy texture

ordered two beef dishes, (beef chow mein beef curry) and in both beef dishes the beef was so fatty and chewy, couldn't be ate. the beef curry sauce was very tasty just the beef was such a disappointment .

Disappointed that I had an item missing from my order. Other items were very nice but disappointed about the missing item.

The chips were stale and the chicken balls had mostly dough around them with minimum chicken, usually it’s really fresh and nice 😩

First time we have used Chefoo and it wasn’t good, firstly the food was 20 minutes late with no apology from the driver. One item was missing and the refund could be up to 7 days. On a plus, the food was hot and tasty.

Have been ordering from Chefoo for years, unfortunately the business has gone down hill. Previous order was 40 minutes late, food arrived this evening stone cold and late again. If your looking for fresh, hot Chinese food, don't use this company.

Not blown away by the taste, quite bland. Expensive for what it was in comparison to other takeaways in the area which are tastier and cheaper. Delivery time was good but food was hot, not warm, and I live less than a 5 minute drive away. Won’t be ordering from here again I’m afraid.

Disappointed all round. Ribs were dry, prawn crackers were stale. The fried rice was black with the amount of soy sauce so had no flavour. The aromatic duck was delicious though.

Tried them again after giving up with them a while back. Really disappointing once again. Quarter duck was really dry and flavourless and a really small quantity. Chicken balls over fried, greasy and inedible. Generally everything that was sent felt over cooked and flavourless because of this. Really poor and will stay clear in future.

Overall it was good. In particular the delivery time was excellent for a Saturday evening, less than an hour from order to delivery. The food was fine but I think I’ve had better and there is more choice elsewhere. Works order again though.

waited for and hour and 20 minutes for delivery, i get friday evening are busy but that just seemed ridiculous.. the food was very poor. awful tasting crispy shredded chilly beef- tasted like it has been cooked in very old cooking oil, burnt and overall nasty! the egg fried rice was something that ive never seen before! very odd! the hong kong style sweet and sour chicken was very dry. shall not be ordering from here again

Really disappointed the special curry was very runny and lacked any meat let alone anything special. The chow mein was tasteless. The salt and chilli ribs were dry and had no flavour. McDonald style thin chips. I chose based on the reviews and mine wSs. definitely not up to standard.

The food was very tasty and the Crispy Shredded Beef was nice and crispy as it should be :) The estimated delivery time was, I think, 30 - 45 minutes but arrived after about 20 minutes which was very welcome.

Disappointed that I didn’t get the offers on the menu. Spent £84 and no free fish or prawn crackers!!!

Great Chinese takeaway. I've ordered here twice and both times they were fairly quick delivery and order was spot on. The food was piping hot on both occasions (Saturday and a Monday). My Wife is extremely fussy when it comes to takeaway, she gave this a thumbs up and that says it all for me. Would recommend

It was okay, but not the usual quality we have from them. Monday night is also a quiet night in theory. Real shame, as they're our favourite Chinese and it's put us off ordering for a while!

One of the best Chinese meals I’ve had, will defiantly order again

The food just wasn't very nice, the spare ribs and the mixed veg were nice but everything else felt super cheap. The beef and chicken just didn't taste right.

We had the mixed starters, chow mien and chicken curry with a side of chips and prawn cracker. All the food was disappointing. The chips are actually frozen fries, the prawn crackers tiny and the rest was bland.

Simple order of ×2 chowmein and ×1 chicken balls = £18.40. They never gave me my chicken balls and when rang to amend my order I was only given the choice of travelling back to the store to collect my order they forgot to give me. Then they hung up. I was always amicable and polite about the situation, I know you might be busy but no need to be rude when you're the one who provided poor service. Just ask the Mrs how her chicken chowmein is and she said its nice but barely no chicken. Good job I ordered plain chowmein then I can't moan about that 😂

Amazing as always. Takes quite a while to arrive, but it’s completely acceptable considering they’re so busy and so good! Food always arrives really really hot!! Love it. I’m obsessed with the pork dumplings and the pork spring rolls
