Sadly lacking in quality! The chow mein was the most disappointing I have ever seen or tasted, being bland, and the sweet and sour was really poor, lacking the balanced flavours tasted across much of the country (it isn’t a difficult ask), the only redeeming thing was the prawn crackers that were pretty average. If you are used to takeaway restaurants competing for trade in typical towns and cities across the UK you will see that with little obvious competitors in the local vicinity, this one is best avoided. I’m not entirely clear how so many of the other ratings are so glowingly positive!?!

Firstly wow! Staff straight off the bat, amazing as we arrived, seating perfectly arranged along with the staff making sure we were happy, then the food, I have eaten a lot of Chinese food before but this place was in believable, everything was fresh and the choices mind blowing! You could not enjoy a better place and I am now trying to arrange another group visit, five stars from me

We have just moved to the area spent over £70 on a takeaway and it was disappointing to say the least! The chicken was extremely rubbery and inedible, crispy duck was very greasy and over cooked but worst of all the chicken chow mein was soo bad it was definitely re heated the noodles where like mush and tasteless. Going from there reviews we thought we just had a unusual bad experience so called the restaurant to explain our experience to be told there is nothing wrong with there food and there wasn't any problem!! Being a business owner I do not leave bad reviews lightly but I was extremely taken back by there response and felt it was necessary. Definitely would not recommend there takeaway food. Obviously I can not comment on there restaurant food, maybe it is different from what we experienced

I live in whiteley and the fact there based in fareham just proves I will pay more for them to deliver to me. The food is great and the guy who takes my order over the phone is a legend, he has that subtle Liam Neeson voice about him. I can imagine if I had to call back if my food was late arriving he would defo crack some heads. The Chinese women who answers sometimes can be abrupt but I will let her off because the food is unreal. Chicken in black bean sauce is a delight and the chow mein isn't too greasy. Shredded chilli chicken is my partners fave which I also enjoy. I've never had a bad meal from canton, I hope they continue to produce greatness.

Great food. And good value for money.

Very very disappointing, just to say we have been using wok this way for 3 years and the quality of food has gone down hill! We ordered the mixed platter, the ribs were so hard and overcooked with very little meat on them, the chicken skewer also overcooked and dry and what can I say about the salt and chilli chips diabolical. Most of the food went in the bin! I did ring to make them aware and the answer I got was 'we're really busy tonight but I'll let them know'. The quality of food shouldn't be compromised just because they're busy. This was 5pm when they opened I certainly won't be using them again

The staff is great. The food is terrible. Most bland Asian food i can ever remember having.

We have ordered with LJ's for years now. Their food is always exceptional, reasonable cost, and professional staff. We have only once had an item forgotten from our order (we're all human, it happens), and LJ quickly sent out the item that had been forgotten. We will continue to order with LJ's for a long time coming.

Awful food, lacks so much taste. Wouldnt even want to eat it if it was free really. Shame because its a great location and could thrive.

There was great service always gets greeted with a smile and the food was excellent. Overall a great experience

Amazing Chinese cut chunky chips & of good portions freshly cooked.. Also ordered 2 Curry rolls & only came to 8.90 all in so reasonably priced.. They sell all the usual Chip shop fav + a full Chinese menu..
