Sorry to say I will not be returning to this takeaway restaurant I got chicken fried rice and curry sauce what it should be called find the chicken in the fried rice because I had to hunt really hard to get one mouthful of chicken total rip-off I had about ten tiny vita of chicken not even enough to fill a desert spoon check before you leave the shop

Fabulous food and really friendly staff. Only reason I gave it 3 for atmosphere is we were eating very early so only people in there. 😂

A couple of friends and I dined in on a Friday night, and we had no complaints. We were seated very quickly, and the food was perfect. Each dish was cooked very well with lots of taste, and the crispy pancake rolls were lovely. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back again

Such a lovely welcome by Ellen Our first course was crispy aromatic duck which in the words of my husband was “very very nice”. The flow of food was well spaced Our second course was salt and pepper ribs which tingled the mouth. The spicy were on point and the meat succulent. The main courses consisted of chicken curry and sizzling beef in black bean sauce. Accompanied by egg fried rice. I honestly could not find any fault in any of the dishes and given the service was so good it was hard to give it anything other than five stars. Ellen was exceptional throughout the service and ensure we weren’t rushed and the food came at approximately intervals. Very good price. Would thoroughly recommend.

Dragon was quiet as we arrived just after opening and were seated immediately with no need for reservation. Had a very enjoyable meal as expected as takeaway is always great. Was really nice to come and eat at the restaurant for a change. Very polite friendly staff.

First time using these as our usual place was closed. The food was lovely, however we were disappointed because when our order was delivered there was an item missing, also there were only 6 cashews in the chicken and cashew dish. I phoned the takeaway regarding our missing item and they were very apologetic. However we had to start eating because it would have been cold, so the Prawn balls we had after we'd finished our meal. it would have been nice to have had it with our main meal. Also one other issue I had with them was the pricing. I'm not sure where they got their prices from because the menu on their Facebook page is the menu that we have, and the total price they came to was £3 more than what I made it, but with all price increases I didn't question it. I think it would be useful to put an up to date menu on your Facebook page and useful to new customers if you enclosed one with their delivery order. Would have given you 4 stars if the Prawn balls had arrived with the rest of the meal, and if there were more cashews in the chicken dish.

The price they charged me changed 3 times from the menu, to the phone order, to the final payment when collecting. ALSO - they are too tight to even give free prawn crackers with a £60+ order. To top it all off, they are such con-artists they give you a tiny store bought bag of prawn crackers and charge you £2.7. Avoid!

Normally go early evening excellent fresh cooked tasty food. Reasonably priced and good service

Have used Dragon for takeaway on many occasions but hadn’t eaten for a long time. Real disappointment at the service. Seriously need to just concentrate on their takeaway business as that is clearly doing well but staff don’t have the capacity to look after table guests. Once our food arrived we were not checked on, table not cleared had to get up and go and ask for anything we needed and the phones are loud and constantly ringing. Left without a thanks or a goodbye so never again.

Absolutely awful inedible food this is without doubt the worst food I have ever had.cheap ingredients poor unfriendly service.

I went there and there was only Chinese food I personally would of expected a lot more from you?????? I also would like to mention my African nan was not felt welcome as she was uperrcuted 94 times and turned into a chicken ball and made to feel like a beef chow mien §

Had a massive order over £300 for the residents of a care home as a treat for everyone & what a treat it was the whole meal was absolutely top class every single dish was fresh hot & v tasty it was delicious no different in taste to when I order my own meal all the staff & residents tucked in & enjoyed every bite well done & a huge thanku for making our Chinese eve so special it really was a excellent meal we will be back

The service and food are fantastic. The prices are great. The Salt & Chilli Chips are a wonder. It's just the best and our first choice for a takeaway. Call them, you wont regret it.

Absolutely beautiful hot food, plenty food for five people with left overs average £8 pound a head and our plates were bulging , never had a bad Chinese from here. Lovely staff, delivery in an hour

One of the best Chinese food we had in a while … yum … highly recommend… portion size is very generous and apart for being value for money in todays high price this takeaway serves some of the best Chinese amazing grub at reasonable price ! 10 out of 5 !!!

Dreadfully disappointed. Impromptu meal out treat. My husband had eaten at this restaurant previously with a group of friends and it was good. Our experience was dismal. We negotiated a set meal, for extra cost, not cheap, with the waitress, and what arrived was scant. None of us enjoyed the meal or atmosphere and we definitely will not be returning.

Nice staff, but the food is lacking flavour and the choice of noodles and vegetable dishes is non-existent, And using a marker pen on the menu to lower your choice is not very professional, considering how easy it is nowadays to just print a new menu at home.

I always have a good experience at the dragon. The staff are always helpful and the food is always very good. The experience could be improved for me if they offered a better selection of lager. I also wish they would bring back the lazy Susan table.

Nest lemon chicken I have had in a while

Fist time experience was great, wish we’d been before. Excellent food, atmosphere, service. Lovely people managing a fist class restaurant. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended and I’m not easily pleased!

Well established restaurant and takeaway, food is very good and well priced. Free parking opposite in the evening.

Staying locally on a foul night did not want to go out, so ordered in a take away for the four of us, prompt delivery of hot superb foot for less than £40 great. About 10% more than we pay locally in Lincolnshire but 100% better wish we lived closer. Been a long time since I had a chinese meal of this quality.

Quiet as midweek early evening. When I dropped my chopstick it was immediately replaced with a new set, so service first class. The set meal at £19 a head, great value as came with duck and pancakes and they do a great Hong Kong style chicken. The sizzling beef with green peppers in a black bean sauce also great. The lady who runs the restaurant was friendly and I have been coming here for decades as food consistently good. Fidelscastrol.

If it's a restaurant why can't you get a table when you are told no restaurant facilities as we are too busy with take away orders, we had to leave!!!!!

Love this takeaway. Food is always lush and the lady who takes the orders is a gem.

I don’t know why it has happened but this place has gone down hill big time. When I first started using their take away service it was always excellent but I think it is under some form of new management and they have destroyed an excellent place. So when some old friends came to visit we thought we would try the place as an eat in customer and all six of us agreed it was a mistake and a big disappointment. It’s prices have also shot up but the quality and taste has gone the other way and the service was cold and fairly indifferent. We have now taken this place off our take away and places to eat list. If you want over prices indifferent food then this place is for you.

Never used before...very tasty indeed

Been using this Chinese for years, never had a problem and the food has always been nice but recently there customer service and deliveries have been awful. Sometimes takes up to 2 hours for a delivery when they don’t even tell you it will be that long! Got told tonight that they will “see me soon” for my delivery! Phoned up 45mins later for an update on delivery to be told I’d have to wait another 45mins, they are snowed under! If I had known that from the start I would have gone somewhere else. Couldn’t and didn’t want to do anything for my inconveinance either! Will be the last time I use this Chinese now!

Just ate here tonight. Firstly we were seated at the smallest table even though there was a more spacious one available which was given to another couple who arrived after us, then I was shocked at the price hikes then decided to just go with it. Bad decision....... we then made the mistake of taking more than a minute to look through the menu so apparently our order was put at the end of the line! We ended up ordering four dishes as we like variety and can always take our leftovers home ...... huh So now we wait, and wait, and wait.......finally some prawn crackers were put out this after 15 minutes or so, but no sorry to keep you waiting apology As I watched several take out delivery orders I began to wonder where our food was, so after 35-40 minutes I flagged the waitress over to ask where our order was and why had the couple who had been seated after us had their food, she rudely stated I’d taken too long to place our order. Anyway, on to the food, the plates were very small in size, hardly any beef and chicken in their separate dishes middling amount of duck and rather few pieces of mushroom and the egg fried rice seemed to lack any egg! Whilst observing service given to the other customers, they were asked several times if everything was alright, there were also apologies by both waitress and older female (owner?) About the wait, and they were also provided with the hand wash up cloths none of which was afforded to us. I can only imagine that the lack of curtesy applied to us was because my brother is Special Needs and they obviously think not deserving of the same politeness others are given. If I could rate this with minus stars I would. Never again, this used to be a lovely place to eat and the pricing was in line with other Chinese restaurant/take out.

Awesome food, service and staff. Definitely worth a visit, even just to pick up super speedy and delicious takeaway. Not to be missed! There's a massive car park right opposite which is free after 6pm and it can accommodate any size of vehicle with no height restrictions.

Ok. The thing is, if you want to have great Chinese food, don't go looking for it in Fareham. On the otherhand, if you are in Fareham and you fancy Chinese then I would recommend the Dragon on Trinity street. Kung pu chicken was very nice.

very bad service phoned order through to Dragon Fareham at 6.18 told up to an hour delivery as busy so agreed OK . 1hr 30 mins later no delivery phoned not left yet 2 hours later still no delivery phoned again not yet left 2.20mins later delivery turns up and we turned it away, Ordered from Canton express and wow cheaper better food and delivery in 15 minutes now that is service for you well done Canton Express

We've been here for many times and always enjoyed the great food.last went there with my family and a loverly meal staff were very attentive, I personally think the food is a little overpriced for what it is, but overall very good.

We eat here regularly and find it to be the best Chinese restuarant we know. Service s always with a smile and very prompt. Really good menu and good for groups of up to 8 with a decent wine selection. Best to book ahead if you are planning a group outing.They also have a busy takeaway business and the large car park opposite makes it so easy.

Comida agradable aquí esta noche. El kung fu lugar buffet ha vaciado todos estos restaurantes tradicionales de los clientes, pero no es la misma experiencia. Venga a un lugar tradicional China como este y que te dan servido y cuidado. Heck usted puede incluso pedir una segunda copa. Intenta conseguir la atención de una camarera en kung fu. Basta decir que tuvimos una cena maravillosa y fue un precio semejante pedir el menú fijo que para nosotros que la ia realmente. Comimos tanto como quisiéramos y tomó algunas casa en una bolsa para el perro también.

Lovely meal here tonight. The kung fu buffet place has emptied all these traditional restaurants of customers but it's not the same experience. Come to a traditional Chinese place like this one and you get served and looked after. Heck you can even order a second drink. Try getting the attention of a waitress at kung fu. Suffice to say we had a lovely meal and it was a similar price ordering the fixed menu wiuch they tweaked for us. we really did eat as much as we wanted and took some home in a doggy bag too. We were the only people there. A private booking :-)

This was quite honestly the best Chinese I have eaten outside of Chinatown in new York! The family who run it are very welcoming and can't do enough for you. The dining area is small but beautifully formed. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Como los clientes bastante regular que utiliza para buscar el Dragón Chino comida para llevar razonablemente bueno en Fareham. Sin embargo, últimamente, la calidad de la comida y, sobre todo, el servicio se ha reducido dramáticamente. El ejemplo de esta noche (viernes 17 de febrero) mi mujer pidió sal y chili calamar (entre otras cosas) de que tuvo que corregir la señora por teléfono dos veces y finalmente conseguí la orden correcta lea. Cuando llegamos a casa estaba en gambas hecho, que parecía similar al calamar y por lo tanto probé una. Cuando me llamó para preguntarme si podían entregar el orden correcto se negaron ya que había comido una de gambas! Me preguntaron si me podían revender estas, Tom, el director respondió que iban tírelos en el bin, pero ya me había comido uno, él no sería capaz de entregar o de restitución que la comida correctamente ordenados. Lo que hace que este peor es que intentó culpar a nuestro pedido y su flagrante desprecio por el error. Cuando me dijo que había una gran posibilidad de que no puedan utilizar en el futuro debido a su despreocupado y francamente gruñón servicio de atención al cliente que estaba más que dispuesto a buscarme en línea y pasar el rato!

Easily the best Chinese restaurant in Fareham and in my view one of the best that I have ever visited. Always good value with very high standard food. The Kung Po chicken is a particular highlight.

Had 3 different meals. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style - chicken was a bit too chewy. Chips seemed as though they had been rewarmed. Overall apart from hubbies curry, not very hot. Maybe you should use insulated bags like pizza places do.
