Go get some fish now! Best fish we have had in a long time - and the size of the fish is massive! Chips are seriously good. Kids portions are massive! So yummy!!!!

Very very busy and staff overworked and very curt. Could do service with a smile … well we might come again as the menu looks good.

Really lovely and clean authentic Japanese restaurant, so sad to see this not brimming with life (as in not many customers)! C’mon people you must try this place: the food is top notch!

Everything good from the food to the service. But a little expensive

An excellent restaurant, very friendly host and tremendous food. Everything was beautifully fresh and very tasty. The Lamb shank was sublime and the meat fell off the bone it was so tender. The mushroom and cheese starter was rich and creamy and tasted delicious. The chocolate torte was rich and intense and wonderfully complimented by the gelato. Finished off with coffee and a copa of Torres. Well worth it but you must book as it is understandably popular. Antonio is a great host, very attentive and good fun.

This restaurant is hidden a little with its location, have always wanted to try it so the opportunity came up. Not disappointed, was a busy evening but the owner made the effort with all the guests to chat and made us very welcome. Although plenty on offer on the al a carte we already made the decision to go for tapas. Great range to choose from, was surprisingly quick to the table, but the flavours were fantastic, the black pudding a particular surprise. Planning another visit soon.

Lysses organised our Mum's "wake" last week and made the whole process slick and professional. The setting & building are exquisite and the food was perfect. The staff were kind and helpful. Lysses was always Mum's favourite place to go with Dad, me my son, for lunch, when he was a baby/toddler, so it was the perfect choice. Our Mum would have thoroughly approved of everything. We visit The Seagull regularly for their Burger deal on a friday, The food is always hot and tastes great (good quality burgers!) and the portions are large. The staff here are great, especially Diane who always goes out of her way to check our meals are good and provide us a great service. I recommend this restaurant for their quality tasty food, and fast efficient friendly service.

First timers here, but sad to hear it's closing for good due mainly to lack of customers. What we had was tasty, but a very small and disappointing choice on the serve yourself section.
