Appalling customer service I was treated very badly by the staff in this branch, I went in about 5.55 on Monday , I haven’t long been released from hospital and I now move with a Walker I went in to get a treat for my son who has been caring for me, when I got into the branch I stood by the counter fiddling with my phone to bring up my Costa app , probably stood there a few minutes and then went to the til , the young girl gleefully announced “ It’s 6 o’clock I won’t serve you now” ….. I looked at my clock it was 6 … I said “ I’ve just been standing there for 2 minutes trying to find my Costa app” so no drinks for me. I was terribly disappointed and as I was leaving the young girl and another assistant a lad with dark hair standing behind her actually smirked at me as I left .. SMIRKED! Very upsetting and made me feel humiliated. Costa you need to know what sort of people are representing your brand , I hope the staff are proud of themselves on getting one over on the lowly unimportant customer.

It was early morning, and I went in for a coffee, which was okay. The cheese sandwich was overheated, unfortunately leading to the cheese exuding from the bread and being too crisp. This set me back £8.99!!!!!!!

The service was impeccable and the lovely Georgia was very friendly and welcoming . Great food and will definitely be returning !!

Popped in for lunch on a very mild day so sat outside we ordered from the week day lunch menu and enjoyed both the food and drinks served very punctually,we were served by Frazer who was very polite and helpful so will eat here again .

I asked for my focaccia to be put in the oven and not toasted. I double checked with the man and we raised his voice and said “YES, IS IT!” He put the food in as a toastie which squished the focaccia and it won’t be a soft hot bread. I’ve never had a toastie focaccia. It has always come heated from the oven!

As a Tesco Club member fora few years now we are becoming increasingly concerned as to how this branch in Fareham is changing especially it's ridiculous prices. S o much so we now go when we can to Asda! However today we were forced to use our Tesco branch for other reasons. We were even more horrified that not only were many shelves empty but prices were crazy, how about OVER £1.50 For ONE stick of Rhubarb what idiot would pay that. ONE POTATO 50p they are taking us for mugs

Brilliant as ever on all fronts

Having completed our food shopping in store, we opted for a quick drink in the cafe before meeting friends. There was only one person behind the counter, taking orders and making the drinks and taking payment. Service was very slow. One customer in front of us complained and another asked if they were busy and were told they were very quiet which was difficult to believe based on the slow service. Drinks were fine, but only had a tea and coffee, although food on display did not look overly appetizing.

Chicken strips nice. Chips and nuggets pretty average
