Caffe Nero - Fareham in Fareham

Great improvement from my last visit, great coffee, cakes food and good service , very little wait time in a clean and tidy place, shame that some people sit there just to use the internet

Too many tables left uncleared - not uncommon in the coffee shop chains in Fareham - and staff too interested in finishing their personal conversations rather than focusing on serving the customer. Good coffee though.

Popped in for quick coffee The staff are polite and faster than some other places I've been . I can't complain or complement too much

Had a nice coffee with my family, unfortunately the sausage roll was awful. It was chewy and looked like it was heated up in a sandwich maker. Came to me on a plate, as flat as a pancake. Nothing like it looked in the food cabinet. Would not visit again, unless they train their staff to heat up a sausage roll properly. Not that difficult!

Ordered two mocha frappes, basically got milkshakes that tasted like ass. Staff need retraining as they obviously dont know what their doing. Two guys behind the bar one actually doing work while the other stood around pretending he was “making coffees” aka wasting coffee by pouring espressos away everytime he made them. Woman in front of me brought cakes and left unhappy as the staff openly said that that the cakes were 3 days out of date yet they were still selling them?! I worked in a cafe and from what i know that is dangerously wrong to do, disgusting place with idiotic staff that obviously dont know what their doing!!! Never going here again and making sure friends and family dont either- its a health hazard.

i went into shop and orderd and then when i went to pay was told they did not accept cash and gave no explanantion. i said it is legal tender but told to get stuff

Have always loved this coffee shop. Super friendly staff. They also allow dogs, so we can pop in whilst walking the dog

Was here to get a takeaway coffee. It was nice and hot. Friendly staff and people maintaining social distancing

A dump that serves vile coffee and stale pastries. Plenty of alternatives in Fareham, which will appreciate your custom.

As always a great coffee from Nero’s, service quick and efficient with Covid policy clearly evident. Coup,e of visits in quick succession the eat out vouchers makes it unbelievable value.

Didn't like it here, and the coffee wasn't good. Recently tried Coffee#1, which jas a far better feel and beverages.

I revisited this cafe this afternoon after avoiding it for so long due to abrupt staff making badly made drinks, unfortunately I found it even worse than previously as I walked in & stood at the till for ages due to both staff members chatting & mucking about whilst all the tables needed clearing, I eventually got acknowledged & it took almost 10 mins to make a large mocha with an extra shot, unbelievable as the male server couldn't even find the whisk, then after paying almost £4 I took a sip & I'm sorry but there was NO coffee in my drink whatsoever, it was just skimmed milk with a small spoonful of chocolate in it, so pale looking plus it was almost cold, absolutely revolting & I will NOT be going back!

Vile coffee and stale cakes. Unfriendly staff and uncomfortable seating. Usually go to Coffee#1. They are great!

Great service, coffee up to usual high standard- advice given to use their app for future visits. Quiet early morning so I guess reflective in service and noise of place given other reviews. Will be returning. Signed up for the app too !

Didn't enjoy my visit here. Didn't feel comfortable and could hardly hear myself speak. Will be giving this a miss in the future. Much prefer Coffee1 just along the road.

not been here for a while and wont be going again.The male barista was tyring to second guess an order and got it all wrong! Had to go back and change it. The atmosphere outside was poor. Just a smoking den and not just for people using the coffee shop. The staff seemed unconcerned about this, and the coffee was mediocre!!

Horrible and dirty place. Some things are too costly for nothing. The lemonade too expensive and taste disgusting.

Personally I prefer Costa, but I fancied a change and the coffee here, although smaller, had a pleasant kick to it. The pesto sandwich toastie was a bit odd and I would not have it again, but it was my choice to try something new and I imagine vegans enjoy it. The team were friendly and welcoming.

Always good to visit here for a great coffee with helpful & friendly service. Location is convenient too.

Very busy in here. Don't know why as not great coffee. Will stick to Coffee#1 just a few steps along the road.

Still the Best Coffee in Fareham .... So many coffee options now with May jumping on the Bandwagon but we still rate Caffè Nero as the best coffee chain in the UK. And lovely Staff too !

I stopped off here for coffee with friends. The cafe is large & there was plenty of seating. The staff were friendly and helpful. I am no coffee connoisseur, but I thought it was good coffee. I had the soya latte, & it is good to see that they no longer charge extra for soya milk. As I am lactose intolerant I can't have cows' milk. I see that they do charge extra for coconut milk & oat milk. These do cost substantially more in the supermarket, so I suppose that's fair.

Respite from the snow and cold. A decent cup of coffee and quite nice cake. They advertise "best coffee this side of Milan". I often wonder which coffee is best the other side!

I visited Caffè Nero in Fareham today for a latte, the staff were polite and welcoming. The coffee was nice, a little strong but still enjoyable, the cost was reasonable and inline with the majority of coffee shops. The tables were kept clean and tidy, I’d be happy to return here.

Love this place as I can sit outside to smoke. Staff always pleasant. Cakes (muffins especially) are nice , coffee always good

The staff in Café Nero are excellent always willing to help and the service is great, coffee is made how you like it and food is tasty

We recently learnt that Caffe Nero in Fareham welcomes dogs, we decided to try the coffee shop and found it an excellent place to enjoy a coffee, with our dog. Lovely coffee, friendly helpful staff, and very family friendly, and lovely relaxing background music. Will definitely visit often and recommend to our friends and family.

This is a nice bulk standard cafe nero - the staff are lovely and coffee is delicious, but the place is looking tired and a bit grubby - could do with some TLC

Dios mío el personal es TAAAN amable y servicial! Me encanta el chocolate caliente aquí es el mejor alrededor con crema o sin Mmm precioso. La Zanahoria Tarta preciosas, como pastel de chocolate. También hacer Scones con crema cuajada y selección de mermeladas para elegir. Pruébalo ah y ganó su tarjeta de fidelización 9 olvídate de sellos y 10 Taza gratis.

Thought that we would have a change from Costa. Cold chocolate sticky table dry cake. Disappointing. Toilets could do with an updat

Great service, friendly staff, great selection of coffees and food. Staff are happy for people to hang out, work or just read the papers. Comfortable surroundings but only 1 toilet so you sometimes have to queue.

Without doubt the best coffee in Fareham - service consistently good and quality of food and coffee always top drawer. Restaurant always clean and tables cleared. A convert from COSTA !

Quick efficient Ser vice, plenty of seating with an excellent atmosphere. Nero' s serve good quality coffee at a reasonable price and the shop is centrally located so very handy when the Mrs drags me shopping

Best coffee stop in Fareham. Close to market parking. Great coffee and not such a rip off price as other larger coffee changes. Staff friendly and helpful.

Being situated adjacent to the centre of the shopping mall at Fareham, Caffe Nero can get quite busy at times with queues forming to be served whilst hot drinks are freshly prepared. I would certainly recommend you find a table first then queue to order. Good quality coffee worth waiing for although many coffee 'nibbles' seem very pricey to me. An excellent place to watch shoppers scurrying around the precinct but for this reason I believe too many people outstay their visit partly causing a slow turnaround of tables. Friendly staff, clean facilities and a pleasant location to enjoy your coffee, once of course you have secured a table.

Arrived in Fareham and went straight for a coffee. staff brilliant, weren't bothered by my asking for half shot latte..

Typical chain coffee house. Good quality, not a bad price. Have the usual loyalty card, every tenth coffee is "free". Snacks are fine, too.

Well positioned in the centre of the outdoor shopping centre. As it's part of a chain you basically know what you are going to get but there's nothing wrong with that. Dog friendly as well.

Nero's are good. This one is in the middle of the pedesriansed precinct on a corner of a busy area. It's a nice place to watch and wonder about people.

Has to be the best coffee house in town,decor is pleasing,lots of seats and Sofas,Staff are friendly efficient and nothing is too much trouble.Nice atmosphere streets ahead of Costa and the others in town.Great choice of food,especially hard to choose on the cake front.Coffee is delicious and just how I like it.Five stars for Caffè Nero all the way!

Ten out of ten for value and for allowing our two small dogs in, acompany policy that should be applauded.

The staff were nice and pleasant making you feel welcome. Although there was a queue they worked hard to ensure everyone was served quickly and given what they wanted. Scones, Jam and Clotted Cream deal only £2.50 which was a fair price to pay and the scones were quite nice. Coffee always smooth with an earthy under taste. Atmosphere ok with outside seating available for when the sun is shining.

This is the best coffee house in Fareham and staff are great, good is good standard only one lol if you drink to much coffee though.

Situated in the middle of Fareham this cafe serves excellent food and drinks and the staff are normally very helpful. The decor is fine but some of the chairs are showing thier age. Only 1 disabaled loo for everybody and it tends to get dirty very quickly - more loos are a must if they are to move into the A league.

Don't know what happened at Nero in Fareham 10 days ago, but there were only 2 staff, the tables had not been cleared and were cluttered with piles of dirty crockery, and outside, there were loads of people taking up outside tables without being customers as there was nobody to check them. This is the Caffe Nero I use most, so the coffee was its usual standard, but the wait was the best part of 10 minutes, which eats into parking time. This is the first time that this particular, normally friendly and efficient Nero, has let me down. Don't let it happen again, Fareham Caffe Nero!

I know there's a Nero on every street corner and I, for one, am happy about that. The Nero in Fareham stands out from the crowd by being spacious and well laid out, with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Add that to the already good coffee and that's a recipe to make me come back.
